So far I've been really impressed since my son started here. Ms. Cherish & Ms. Alyssa have been…read moreamazing in regards to letting me know how my son is doing - in terms of listening, interacting with other kids, and eating! They both are saying how well he is doing and adjusting to the structure of the classroom. Also for a large classroom (I think there are 23-26 other students) and only 3 teachers they are doing amazing updating me 1:1. I really like all the safety features that Headstart has put in place. For example: my son can only be picked up by those on the list & we have to sign in and out daily for pickups. We also had to buy a $7 chip that allows only us Parent's & other authorized chip holders to get in the building which is really great! They also practice hand washing & proper coughing techniques and other preventative healthcare measures and precautions which is awesome because it's important to learn those at a young age! I'm really happy so far especially with his teachers they seem really caring and motivated to teach! They are really strict in terms of their program and attendance and they don't really allow unexcused absences. At first I was a little turned off by the MANDATORY home visits from case managers AND Teachers. I did meet with Nicole (Our Case Manager) once and she was awesome, fast, friendly & efficient! She showed up to my house on time, stayed for about 20 minutes had me fill out some mandatory paperwork & asked me what my goals were for my son this year. I also had a home visit with my son's teacher Ms. Cherish and she is just amazing! She's really invested in education and incorporating families into the classroom. She explained a lot of Head Start's philosophy's which are very similar to mine so I believe it will be a great fit! Also the home visits provided great insight into how my son is at school! So I thought it would be a nuisance but it turned out to be informative and helpful!

I couldn't be happier with a business. I fully recommend them.

My experience with Earthworks Site Development & Utilities, Inc has been nothing but remarkable…read more What this company has demonstrated has proven that there are still good people and good companies out there. For me, a good contactor has a good mix of personality/friendliness, knowledge/experience, and fair pricing. I strongly feel that they have all of these qualities. From my first introduction, I felt such a positive vibe of excitement, and interest in doing my project. It was not like the traditional corporate feel, or sales pitch, just trying to make a sale. That's important!! My project included a 2ndbuilding on my property, so I had the benefit of being "on site" at all times. I was able to witness (from both near and far) the workmanship and interactions that occurred throughout each day. I observed a strong team environment amongst them, which resulted in good collaboration, effective trouble-shooting through different tasks, and made for an overall friendlier environment. I was encouraged to ask questions, and I always felt welcome with any concerns I had. I believe some other strong indicators of a successful company are how employees treat each other, and their equipment. This also is a strong indicator of what I, as customer will probably see for my project. I observed hard workers, and employees that cared about their work, and each other. As they left the site each day, I would see that they cleaned my property, but also their own, by wiping it down, sweeping it out, and even parking equipment safely and neatly. That's important !!! I've received so many compliments about their work, it is very satisfying. Earthworks is a company that seems to be that nice mix of size, where it has a strong personal touch of a local business owner, yet the ability to cover a wide range of services, like that of a large national corporation. I'll be sure to call on them again, and certainly recommend them to both my personal and professional connections. Thank you Earthworks !!!!!!

There just aren't enough good things to say about Tender Hearts. We've had both of my children…read morehere since they were 13 weeks old. My son is now graduating to Kindergarten and is already reading and writing. From the very onset of our time here, we've always felt like the staff loves our children as if they were there own. When Covid hit, we were reassured that our children were safe and they were. Tender Hearts approach was always to be as pragmatic as possible while abiding the Dept. of Health guidelines. We actually tried to move our children closer to home after my husband and I shifted to working remotely and we ended up right back at Tender Hearts because we learned there is no place like it. It's home and I can't recommend it any higher!

We are so grateful and can't say enough good things about Ron and his son and the incredible work…read morethat they did at our home. We had several weeks of plumbing issues (main line breaking, issues with the city hookup, hot water tank rupturing, etc.), and Ron did the least invasive, most thorough and professional job, and was extremely reasonably priced. Ron took care of every detail; calling the city and coordinating the various projects that needed to occur (involving many different parties) in a sequence that made sense. He planned out the process thoughtfully and walked us through each step. He was very communicative with us and very reassuring. We plan to work with Ron for many years to come, and can't recommend him enough. Thank you Ron!

I received no phone call no contact at all no incident report nothing. I asked her teachers what happened they said "they never noticed anything" & then continued to tell me all these imaginary scenarios on how it could've gotten there. At the end of the day no one could tell me how it got there and all they could say was that they didn't notice anything and that she wasn't crying. Smh i spoke to jenn poole the director and all she could tell me was the same thing the teachers said that they didn't know how it got there & shes sorry. Lack of supervision is an understanding. No one was watching my child & no one working there could tell me how it happened. My child had that bruise for over a week. Im pretty sure my 2 year old was crying but they didn't notice anything. Do yourself a favor - Do not bring your child here.

We have been in our house for over forty years and the gravity of this problem was new. Kyle came to our house almost immediately and was able to quickly diagnose the cause of the flooding and came up with possible solutions to the problem. We found him to be an excellent partner to deal with. He was concerned with keeping the cost of the project reasonable and not wasting money on things that were not necessary. Kyle seems to have the skills of a teacher because he always took the time to explain what he was going to do and why. From the beginning of the project to the end he would regroup with is to keep us apprised of progress. When the jib was finished he came back on at least three occasions to make sure everything was going well. Kyle and his crew always seemed to be motivated in the pursuit of excellence in their work. The crew was upbeat and friendly and we couldn't ask for more from a construction crew company. He will be our first go to with anything else in his field. John and Debbie Kissane

Feeling grateful for a friend's recommendation of DKS for a drain project…read more My 1972 house's foundation and driveway drains let me down hard. Twice in two weeks they were totally overrun in heavy rain; I suffered two floods of 6"+ of muddy silty water in my basement in less than two weeks apart. I went crazy cleaning this up twice!, and then the real fear of "when would it happen again?". These deluge rains seem more frequent and dangerous. Worst in memory per the locals around here. I decided to do a new drainage solution after talking with DKS Contracting. Needed something fast, and they were quick to jump on this task and created a nice impression from initial discussions. At project completion, my impression is: Kyle is unique. There are few contractors that have his demeanor. Its great and rare! He gets how traumatic this kind of issue is. He's professional about the task and consultation. He sizes up the problem, makes a plan, and then gets it done. The quick project result exceeded my expectations. They banged this thing OUT. All I had to do, literally, was move stuff out of the way... I am Invoice #653, and I am a real customer. I'm not related to, connected to, was just recommended to, the DKS team. After this work though, I am now a fan of the DKS team, and will definitely have them on the speed dial for the kinds projects they cover. Thank you Kyle and Barry! Tal
