We visited Renfro Valley Entertainment back in October for the Boxmasters. We had never been to the venue before, but it was easy to park, easy to obtain tickets, and, best of all, it was nonsmoking. Also, the restrooms were clean, and the drinks were responsible for the amount served. We have zero complaints. Plus, it's more of an up-close and personal experience with the bands, not like the 20k-seat venues. read more

I purchased tickets to see The Beach Boys on February 21st of 2005 I bought roast tea on the left side is supposed to be handicap seats that said on the internet and I cannot sit there cuz I have two wheelchairs and they moved us on the back of the house they said we're blocking a fire exits but where they put us a smaller area to move so I believe that was a fire hazard I have more room up over where we were sitting at the beginning in row C on the left side of the house plus the management here sucks they need to get new management read more

We visited here many years ago and had a great time wondering around the grounds and visiting the shops. They had some very good talent as well. We were close by and thought we would make a quick stop. Sadly, everything was closed due to the Pandemic. As someone mentioned before, it was like a Ghost Town. Looking forward to returning when it's all over. read more

Sadly, Renfro Valley was a ghost town during the Covid 19 pandemic. It would have been nice to have an ice-cream cone or lunch. Alas we settled for stretching our legs and having some of the left over bites we brought from home at a nearby park bench. Perhaps next time we come this way it will be livelier. read more

We have been coming to concerts here for over 10 years and the Ashley McBryde concert was horrible. We travel with 20+ people and camp. Her music was amazing BUT none of us could see anything since everyone stood during the entire concert. That's never happened before and think security needs to tell people to sit down. read more

Parking lot pitch dark. For someone not from the area made it difficult. Parking was muddy and gross because of all the rain. I know they can't really help that. But parking lot needs some lighting and clearer direction of where to park. I did find that you could come in and out from a back way which got us out of the lot super fast while everyone else was in traffic, Place is small and cool. I love seeing concerts in smaller venues. Surprised how many rude people were at the show. People talking really loud and acting like fools because they had too much to drink. All in all, I enjoyed seeing Travis Tritt Now that I'm familiar with the place and where to park , enter the building and exit I'll keep my eye opened for more shows to see. When someone asks you if you want to go to a Barn Dance at Renfro Valley, they really mean country concert in a former mountain bluegrass hot spot. Our experience inside the Historic Old Barn Theater was just fine. Just know that most of the audience will be over 60, and no one dances. read more

We visited Renfro Valley on Sept. 2 to attend the EmmyLou Harris concert. this was our first time visiting Renfro Valley. We had a great time. The music hall was well designed and able to easily accommodate the crowd (sell-out). The sound system was superb, as were the acoustics of the building. EmmyLou and her band sounded great. It was a fabulous concert, and we would not hesitate to return to Renfro Valley in the future for concerts. Lots of free parking available, as well as campsites for RVs, etc. read more

Requested a refund per the instructions, however, to date, I have yet to receive a response by email, phone, text, letter, or refund deposit in the bank. Customer service is lacking. read more

Enjoyable evening with the Oak Ridge Boys opening the 80th season in the new barn. Great seats, appreciative audience and a 90 minute show.

Went here this past Saturday night to see my favorite band, Montgomery Gentry! Never been here before but will be back! People were very friendly and helpful here! Extremely disappointed when the expected 'headliner' ( Michael Combs ) was changed to be the opening act for Jason Crabb. Renfro Valley advertised as Gospel Night with Michael Combs (with Jason Crabb) and a very nice picture of Michael. This was very misleading and disappointing after purchasing tickets months in advance, driving 4 hours to see Michael, plus the expense of hotel and all. I will not attend another concert at Renfro Valley due to their misrepresentation of the concert. There policy is 'No Refunds', so I can only warn others to beware that the show you are buying tickets for - may not be the show you expect. Most all of the shops were empty, the restaurant was closed (for sale) and looked much like a ghost town. Extremely disappointed. read more

My very first time there, beautiful venue, was just there to watch Steve Earle..... however when it's almost over I really needed to go to the restroom so me and my boyfriend got up and went. Instead of inconveniencing the couple that had to move for us a few times I thought we could just step in the door and watch the rest of the concert. We were quickly approached and told we were not aloud and needed to go back to our seats.....so we just left! I could totally understand if there was not 5-10 people 10 ft away on both sides standing against the wall watching the concert! Went to the Renfro Valley Barn dance this evening. A great evening of good ole country music. Cricket was a back up singer- and she should come forward more! She is an awesome singer! Really enjoyed the whole evening! read more
