I was told that they had a late afternoon appointment available for a massage that day so I took it. The staff that I came into contact with were are all very nice. The massage was just Ok and I wasn't able to use any of the amenities like sauna etc because they were closing. Friends of ours were staying at the pepper mill and I was able to book two days over there with no problem. Their spa is absolutely amazing. We are coming back at the end of the month ( Sunday - Wednesday) and I'll be going to The Peppermill for my spa days. It's unfortunate that even in peak season the Silver Legacy Spa is closed 3 out of 7 days.

At first glance I was disappointed to see the previous deep egg-shaped chairs gone (I liked the privacy they provided from their depth), but within 5 minutes of laying in the new chairs I was already trying to maximize the amount of time I would let myself lay there! The massage features of these chairs are amazing and unlike any of the pokey/stabby massage chairs you might normally think of. The staff were lovely and the food and drinks were delightful. I will say, be careful about any receipts you sign during your visit for food and drink, they apply an auto-gratuity (which is fine), but still leave a large empty tip line, so it's easy to double-tip if you don't notice. They will ask again when you check out of the spa if you would like to leave an additional tip, so you may even triple-tip on accident. Note: The staff and spa are wonderful and deserve the tip, I am just speaking from a smart consumer stand point.

One of my favorite things here is the private mineral soak. They have different rooms inspired by the chakras, so you can reserve your own private room and simply soak, relax, and disconnect for a while. They also have an outdoor soaking area that you can reserve with friends, bring your own food, and spend an hour or two relaxing together (no alcohol). There are also many different treatments and packages, so you can choose how much--or how little--you want to do. I tried the roller table, where you lie down for about 30 minutes while a gentle roller moves along your body. Very simple, but incredibly relaxing. I also did the chakra light experience, which combines the lights with music aligned with the different chakra vibrations. I became so relaxed listening to the music that I almost fell asleep! And then there was my massage with Camille. Her touch was absolutely magical and restorative. I left feeling deeply relaxed and recharged. They also offer an infrared sauna and several other treatments, and you can combine different experiences into packages depending on what you enjoy and how much time you want to spend there. This place has such a peaceful, unique atmosphere, and I highly recommend checking it out--whether you just want a private mineral soak or want to make a whole self-care day out of it.
