This was my first time to Blush and Bone, and I loved how it didn't have that overly toxic smell or a rushed energy. From the start, I felt a lot more calm and like I could slow down. Jordyn gave me a lovely pedicure that still looks great three weeks later, and she was kind and attentive to detail. While she worked on me, I had some tea with honey, and it was so soothing that, honestly, if I could have taken a nap, I would have. Although the major focus of Blush & Bone is on their limited use of toxic chemicals, the energy and customer service deserve to be recognized. From the start, the atmosphere supports that feeling that you're being taken care of: the owner was so welcoming and warm, and Jordyn kept that energy going throughout my treatment. I don't get pedicures as often as I'd like, but Blush & Bone is so lovely that I'll be heading back soon. read more

Came here for my nails the day before my wedding. Monique is amazing!!! She was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness and was so attentive to detail. Pro's: Cute salon in Midtown - had availability same-day (weekday). Con's: Hidden fee. Go back?: Unlikely. More... I was happy to find a same-day appointment at this salon as this very day, folks on FB had been saying this is a great place to get a pedicure with drinks, etc. I am looking for a place closer to home than where I have been going so I was excited to try this out. Also, I just had shoulder surgery and needed a treat. I was told right at the beginning that there would be a $10 fee for removing my old gel polish. Huh? Why? I have never heard of this. I signed up for the Gel Pedicure for $65 - wouldn't removing my old polish be part of this? I was told they charge to remove gel polish that did not come from their salon. Huh? I still don't get it. I felt trapped, bait and switched. If I walked, I forfeit my $65 already paid for the service for "late cancel". If I stay, I now pay $75 for the service. My tech got the owner on the phone and she kindly waived the $10 fee, but the whole thing just didn't set right with me. For the cost, the massage was really short. Too bad. read more

Adorable spot with a friendly staff! I was looking to remove my gel polish and just let my nails go au naturale for awhile. As luck would have it, this place has an "Au Naturale Mani" so I reserved a time. I was not sure what to expect as the website showed an option to shop their apothecary, has an adaptogenic elixir bar, and hosts meditation workshops. But the whole concept just works! The staff was friendly, the patrons were chatting and laughing, and the whole vibe was just welcoming and warm. I sipped on a grapefruit/basil drink that was mixed up for me and just enjoyed relaxing while my nails got some TLC. I definitely enjoyed my time there and will go back. I still really like this place because it's small and quaint and the nail techs are nothing short of amazing My issue is with the customer service/operations and pricing. I had been going for over a year for both mani/pedi and my last pedi they decided to start charging me for gel removal when it was a gel pedi...no where else in town does this. I was recommended this place by a friend for prenatal massage. I had no idea it existed - it's a tiny little place by laughing planet. But every time I have gone in it is full of customers and smiling friendly people. I have worked withKim for the massage, and it's lovely. The atmosphere is very spiritual and healing. Kim has a great energy, and gets right to work. Very healing hands, and I come out being able to stand taller and have more energy. I am grateful for this during the last months of pregnancy! Sweet trendy location in Midtown. My nail tech for my pedicure was talented and personable. The products were focused on organic and that was my primary priority when I booked. Unfortunately the 'trendy' extends to some really uncomfortable wire chairs. During my pedicure there was zero support for my legs so my knees were hyper extended the whole time. The wooly throws they'd put in the chairs in a nod to the fact that they were aware how poorly suited the furniture was to a relaxing space, didn't cut it. Won't go back. So disappointing. read more

This had to be the worst pedicure experience ever. I spent $85 for the worst pedicure with no massage just a basic pedicure! My toenails look like garbage. The girl was nice enough. It's so uncomfortable to have to sit up and put your foot on a rolling peg with a pillow on it basically. $85 you could get a full 30 minute massage and everything everywhere else and a better toenail polish I'll tell you that much. Was a nice atmosphere; loved the decor & energy in the building. I got a Deluxe pedi with a more natural nail polish (it chipped the first day & I was bummed but I think that comes with not having harsh chemicals). My pedicurist was sweet & down to earth. The other lady who was doing manicures was also nice & talkative. I wasn't able to get the scrub because I had just shaved (learn from me.. you have to wait 24 hrs for them to be able to use a scrub -- my pedicurist educated me that it could cause small abrasions & lead to infection). They had leather chairs (wasn't my fav in the summer & wearing a dress) which were just normal chairs.. not massaging or with the tub-- which was fine but not what I was expecting. Some positives-- I was able to keep my pumice stone & everything was very clean & natural! They also had some cocktails but I don't think they were serving because of Covid. read more

We both got the PDQ manicure. It's a 20 minutes manicure for $30. Since it's a new place, we thought we would go with the most basic treatment. Boy oh boy, basic was not the word that came to my mind once I enter this little place. I honestly thought I arrived at the wrong place! First look, I thought this place was a chic little place for a small get together for drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic ones. Everyone there were all SOOOO friendly!! I was kind of taken by surprise with the place actually since I got there before my friend show up. I got seated at a table and was handed a menu of drinks and was told about all of their non-toxic nail polishes and some with crystals! When my friend show up we ordered our drinks and got the manicure started. Everything looked super yummy but I went with their matcha collagen latte and she got their signature drink, Blush+Bone with Cava. We both picked out our polish with crystal in them! They are so neat! You just have to go in there and get their insight on these crystal polishes. Also, both of our nails ladies were super sweet. The manicure was short but we enjoyed it. Once we were done with our manicure we just sat there and enjoy our drinks. It was super nice! The owner also came to talk to us and she was super sweet to us as well. We will definitely go back! I have a what I would call a problematic issue on my left hip and hamstring. I booked a 90 minute release massage with Melissa and I came out feeling so much better. She identified the in-balance in my pelvis on my left side that had been the cause of my chronic issue. I am a retired health and fitness coach and understand stretching and myo-facial release but she helped me to really see what was going on with my issue and was able to give me much needed release. This place is absolutely adorable & beautifully decorated. I made appointments for myself, my mother in law & niece to have mani pedi's this afternoon. We were aware that there were only 2 technicians who would need to rotate between the 3 of us. My 7 y/o niece got the "itty bitty" mani/pedi combo & they came out great!! Her technician was very sweet & attentive & my niece really enjoyed the experience. My technician was very friendly as well, but the quality of my manicure & pedicure was lacking (nails are uneven, bumpy & rough around the edges). See photos. I was really hoping that there would be a nice massage included in my treatments, but that was not the case. The oil rubbed on my feet & calves was very nice, but not quite a "massage" and there was no lotion or oil massaged into my hands other than the cuticle oil. To be honest, this is what I look forward to the most when I book a treatment. Once the technician who was with my niece finished with her services she left for her break. My technician was still doing my manicure. When I asked if the other technician would be coming back to start on my mother in law I was told she would not be. My technician would do my mother in laws pedicure after she finished with my manicure....it was unfortunate that the other technician could not start on my mother in law after she has finished with my niece. My mother in law was upset & just decided to leave as she had been waiting an hour & a half already. I really enjoyed my experience, but am not impressed with how my nails turned out. I was really excited to try this place out, so I made an appointment online. I cannot review the quality of the work as I never was able to actually get my nails done, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. When I checked in, I was told the person doing my nails was running a few minutes late. Another customer came in and got started right away as I continued to wait. The receptionist never gave me another update, did not offer any other information...just kept me waiting. She then went outside for awhile and came back in 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to have started. I asked her if there was an ETA as I was tired of just sitting and waiting. She said she had no idea and finally called the person who was supposed to do my nails. At this point, I was too frustrated and asked to make a new appointment. The receptionist told me well she says she is here now. At this point, I was very frustrated with the lack of customer service and communication and left. I was pretty bummed as I was really looking forward to getting my nails done, but I think it is poor service to keep someone waiting for 20 minutes without any kind of information or attempt at making the experience better (i.e. an offer of a free coffee would have been nice). read more

With Covid-19 affecting wedding plans, I was trying to find a last minute place for my bridal party to get our nails done before the big day. Sarah, the wonderful owner, replied to my request within 24 hrs and before I knew it, we had a the space for all of us to get manicures and a couple pedicures. Only two technicians were available, but they both did excellent work and it was nice to have drinks available in a beautiful space to enjoy wedding preparations.
