I am very happy with the quality of work and the finished product. Skyler was the project manager and Tony was the construction manager. They were very organized, the project started on time and ended on time. Every day, the workers were at my house no later than 8:30 and usually by 8:00. Skyler or Tony stopped by most days to check on the progress. All the workers wore masks, they cleaned up after themselves, they were polite and all did a fantastic job. I wish I could find a 'before' picture but here's one 'after' picture. The shower enclosure is still being fabricated. Also, if you have a chance to have heated tile floors, DO IT!! It is so worth the money.

We had a really good experience communicating with the people at Sound Construction and working with Skyler (our project manager). Skyler was nice and personable and always quick to respond to our concerns. However, we had a lot of issues with the work done by the tile setting (our tile setters were Ihor & Milad). There were a number of things that they did wrong or poorly that we had to ask them to address. When possible, they were responsive to our concerns and spent a lot of time addressing things they did wrong. But, we were frustrated we had to spend so much time overseeing their work when really they should have done it right in the first place. There were many times it felt like we knew more about how tiling should be done, even though we're just humble DIYers and they're professional tilers. Also, the BIGGEST issue we have is that they applied the shower tile by spot-bonding. Once the tiles were set this way, it's obviously not possible to reset. Sound Construction responded to these concerns by offering to extend the warranty to 3 years, but we are still concerned about the longevity of the installation. In the end, we like how the tile looks but aren't very happy with how the installation was done or all the challenges in the installation process.

We hired MBG for a full remodel on a single family home in 2021 involving all new plumbing, electrical, bathrooms, kitchens etc. Initially the job encountered a variety of the typical issues to be expected in a renovation of this size but things spiraled out of control rapidly roughly six months in when it became obvious our completion date would be missed dramatically and budgets started running over. The work begin in February of 2021 and the renovation technically still isn't complete as of March 2022 as there are punch list items to be completed. The true issue, and a word of caution is the clear and obvious fraud occurring as it is now coming to light that Meridian was not paying any of their subcontractors during the renovation all the while invoicing us monthly and demanding payment monthly. Since the job has been "complete" I have received numerous calls from subcontractors threatening to lien our home due to non-payment by Meridian. Furthermore and unfortunately it appears that we are no Steve's only victims and this practice was likely occurring on other jobs, as is the case with most fraudsters / criminals / charlatans. There are other review about Meridian being unable to deliver in a timely manner, or their subcontractors not meeting deadlines. This likely is due to Meridian simply not paying their own bills with the subcontractor. To all potential future clients: stay away from Meridian To all current & prior clients: I'm certain we aren't the only ones, please protect yourselves as best you can immediately.

And they had to install the flooring 3 times to get it right. They fixed everything, but it was very frustrating. Then we discovered blatant shoddy workmanship years later, like improperly installing the oven, dishwasher, and kitchen exhaust fan. We discovered the fan issue when it crashed down onto the cooktop, which had to be replaced. We've spent many hours and well over $2000 just correcting things after their warranty expired. I would NOT recommend them. We've heard similar complaints from a friend who used them as well.

Their plan looked wonderful, and after a month we had a few questions. After meeting with a ton of other contractors, we established a few questions we never thought of before we started this project. They told us that we would have a ton, and they would be very happy to help us. We are going to spend a lot of money, and wanted to make sure that the money we were going to spend was going to the right people. We asked the same 12 questions to the other contractor and they got back to us within a few days. I do not feel the questions were out of line, but apparaently they did not want to answer them. Look we are getting into a large project. Full kitchen and two bathrooms with a 1800 sq ft home getting its hardwoods completely restained and sanded. We got an email saying that they had been out of town, after a week of not hearing from them. After that never heard from them again. Still, have never heard from them. We emailed, and texted them many times. Nothing. I understand life happens, and things happen. However I have been in customer service most of my life, and if something happens you let your customers know why you cannot or will not be able to respond. After excellent service, there was no follow through, and after telling us, we would have a ton of questions, and they would be happy to answer any of them, they never did.

He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!"
