I gave him a bad review because he was not forth comming. Finally he to sent his guys out to repair new gutter he had already replaced. I updated my prior review to 5 stars out of appreciation. His excuse for not returning my calls or text messages was, "I am busy man". Approx. three months ago an additional repair he made prior was replacing alumiinum wrap and weather seal trim on my garage door opening. The wrap rippled excessably causing the weather stripping to bow out into a permanent warped position. He told me that he would replace it that comming weekend. He did not show up. After severai attempts I re-contacted him...he assured that it would be taken care of. Well what he did instead was ghost us. So recently we had to, after all this time, was hire another contractor to redo the job right. I do not recommend this contactor...

They take months to respond and are very hesitant to correct problems they caused. The owner Aaron Jenkins does not take responsibility for these things. He instructs the workers not to greet you when starting the job and not to tell you when they are done. The workers are not allowed to go into the attic. The workers will never sell report damage or mistakes they made. You have only 3 days to find these things and report them to the company or they can refuse to come back to your house. What seems to matter the most to this company is having there invoice paid in full despite unresolved issues and obtaining a 5 stare google review.

I called them and they were able to accommodate and came right out that day to start work. They finished in two days. They even put my old guards back on the new gutters for me! Very nice people. I called regularly regarding the second issue and Joe - the enthusiastic salesman who promised fabulous customer service - stopped answering or returning my calls. Completely ignored me. So I had to call and text the owner, Kenny Vessels, with regularity. I am a nurse and I have everything documented thoroughly in case we needed to go to small claims court. After a lot of excuses a second issue was resolved after 4 months - may not sound too bad, but it still consumed my time and energy. But they promised to replace any warped boards during the roofing process; which they did not do. Two years later we are paying someone else to come fix what Vessels promised they would do to begin with.

Things started off good with Joe and his crew but when all was said and done he left us with…read moreseveral issues that we ended up having to spend extra money on to resolve. We spent over $75K for his services and in the end he just stopped returning my texts. The three biggest issues he left us with, were a washing machine that drained straight into our crawl space and onto a wooden beam that supported the house, a spot in our flooring that gave in when you walked on it that he assured me he fixed (we live over 2 hours from the home he was renovating and took him at his word on this) and an air conditioning unit that didn't work after construction was done that we later found out after hiring an HVAC guy was a broken wire from the thermostat to the unit that wasn't broken before construction started. We ended up having to run a whole new line to the unit to fix the issue. In time and money we probably spend an extra $1000 to fix these issues and there are still a few smaller things that need attention but that we cannot get to right now. All and all we just weren't satisfied with the quality of work for the amount we spent. BTW, he has changed the name of his business from URC to Universal Interiors Remodel
