Prior to listing a home on the market, I had a strong need for someone to clean windows, roof, gutters, and power wash the driveway. Quality work at a fair price was very important to me. I had researched and contacted about 15 different window cleaning companies in the Greater Seattle area but ended up picking Ren's Window Cleaning because 1) you're supporting a young entrepreneur, 2) the reviews were impressive (and based off this review, I hope you can see it's genuine), 3) the pricing is extremely competitive, and 4) Ren was incredibly responsive (responded within 30 minutes) and able to schedule a free estimate right away. They were also able to schedule the work for a little under two weeks after the estimate. The crew looks very young, but do not be off put by this. They arrived for the proposal appointment on time, took off their shoes when they entered my home, and were very detailed and methodical with their estimate. They used tape measures, took pictures to show my boyfriend and me later, and broke out all of their services so we could see exactly how much each piece would cost (they do window, gutter, and roof cleaning, in addition to power washing). We ended up hiring them to do all of the work and were very happy with the work. On the day of the service, they provided lot of updates, took pictures to show their work we may not be able to see (roof and gutters), and were respectful of both our neighbors' and our property. They did a walkthrough with us at the end of the service to make sure we were happy with the work before collecting payment. I am so happy that we hired them, and we were able to sell the home in under a week. Their work helped us put our best foot forward when presenting the home to prospective buyers, and I'll definitely hire them next time I need window, roof, gutter cleaning, or power washing. read more

We had window cleaning scheduled for Wednesday May 21. They called in the morning and said that they had a flat tire and would be delayed. They did not show up on Wednesday. My husband has been calling and texting daily. They do not answer his calls or texts. We have agreed to open our house tomorrow for our neighbor's wedding photos. Since Ren's have not followed through on their agreement to come clean our windows, I find myself scrambling to clean our windows. I am very disappointed. I always use Yelp when looking for a new service, and although Ren's had only three reviews I decided to throw them a bone, as other reviews were very positive and it sounded like a couple young men just starting a new business. I had a very positive first impression when they came out for the estimate, but the actual cleaning was very much lacking. The estimate provided to me listed windows in/out, tracks, sills and frames. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after I'd paid and tipped that I checked their work and discovered that only a handful of my tracks had been cleaned, and NO sills or frames had been cleaned; in fact, many were dirtier than they'd been before Ren's came out. The glass itself looked fabulous, but I did not get the other services I paid for. In addition to the incomplete work, there were dirty water drops next to some windows, and on one of the few windows that did have its tracks cleaned (the bathroom), the dirt was scattered all over my toilet tank and lid. I also paid $25 extra for screen cleaning, and I am aware of at least four screens that remain untouched. I contacted Ren's to express my disappointment and received an email stating "Please let me know if you would like me to stop by and get that cleaned up." After a couple attempts to schedule a follow-up, I gave up and left the ball in their court, and I waited a month before writing this review in hopes that they would take the initiative to right the situation. Unfortunately they did not make that effort, and I cannot recommend Ren's. read more

Well my appointment was for Tuesday July 25th at 2:00 p.m. but he called me at it was probably 12:25 and said he finished up early so if he could head out here and I said yeah you bet. He showed up, very personable, got the job done it looks terrific and he let me jabber his ear off. I would highly recommend this company for not only window washing but for pressure washing and gutter cleaning. He did the outside of my windows. I have three they're all the same size. They were very reasonable in their quote. And I'm a renter so I just paid for it because I have a slumlord as a landlord so I thought, if I ask it's not going to get done, they don't care. I wanted to be able to look out my windows, I've lived here 4 years and they've never been washed. It's that time of year you want to open your drapes and windows, to avoid turning on the air conditioner and get a nice cross breeze. Now I can look out my windows. I am very satisfied!!! read more

We hired Ren to clean our roof, unstop our downspouts, and clean both hard to reach windows and skylights. We received a timely estimate and the work was scheduled to proceed after the major fall deposits of leaves and needles. They arrived at the appointed date and completed the entire job in under the 4 hour estimate. We were billed slightly less than the estimate. The work was outstanding. The windows are perfect; the roof was not only cleaned but the debris was left in and next to our compost waste bin. I hired this company to clean my windows and do a partial roof cleaning. The quote was fair and response time very good. When I decided to book the job, I was told it was a 3 week lead time. I asked if they had any other opening. Then they told me they had a cancellation so I took that time slot just 2 days out. The crew was on time and the 2 guys were pleasant. However, the one guy was new on the job with no experience, and it was very obvious. I alerted the other employee who told me the new guy was not up to par and he would go behind him and fix whatever needed done. I had streaks in almost all my windows, he dripped his wash water (color of blue) on my light walls in several places and did not wipe it up. He also carelessly laid down his tools on my table and chairs. And left water on my wood floor. When it came time to inspect, the other guy and myself did clean up all the issues. I shouldn't have to do that but I did. When it was time to bring in a ladder to reach a window, they were bumping into things and walls and didn't know how to navigate the ladder. Made me extremely nervous! I had to direct them on how to proceed. In the end, I was glad the job was done. They were nice guys. But this experience was not what I expected or had with other contractors in the past. However, the owner (Ren or Braulio - not sure which) was texting me after I emailed them my disappointment with the workers. Texted me some ridiculous BS about me being inflexible with the schedule and I should have expected an inexperience crew. I had to request the pics of the roof 3 times before they were sent only to see how bad that job was too. I caught the owner(s) in a lie and instead of apologizing and asking what they could do, they tried to make me the bad guy in the story. Unbelievable. I would not hire or recommend this company and not because of the substandard work which is fixable. But because of the way the owner(s) reacted to the situation and lied.
