When we got there to pick up the car at 5:30 pm the day before we were to leave for our vacation trip, we were told the only cars available were compacts, a Chevy Cruz or a Toyota Corolla. When we asked what happened to our Malibu, we were told it was broken. When we asked why we weren't called and made aware of this, as they had 4 days advance notice (and we paid in advance online), they had no answer. Given that we had to leave the next morning, we had no choice but to take one of the available cars. They gave us only one key, so we had to constantly worry about losing it. They charged us the same price for the compact, no refund for the cost difference between a compact and a standard. This place is a nightmare, DO NOT GO THERE !!!

I came here the other day to help a friend move and everything from beginning to end seemed to be quick and painless. Both picking up the truck and dropping it off took 5 minutes tops. Best of all, their storefront had every moving supply you could think of. A million different box sizes, kerosene tanks, tow hitches, furniture covers and everything in between. I didn't really check out the prices, but they had one of the best selections of moving supplies that I've ever seen. They even have a clearance section. As for the trucks, they are relatively new, have air conditioning, automatic transmissions, and are very clean. My only complaint is that there's only customer parking for like 5 cars in the front.

The rules are clear no smoking in the vehicles, and I followed those rules however I am being charged a $150 violation fee plus admin fees because they found some loose tobacco in the car first of all the brand Burglars is a loose tobacco product I also use Backwoods tobacco leaf to roll my weed and that stuff gets on your clothes every where there no ashes or any other indication that the vehicle had been smoked in and the picture's literally show a few particles of loose tobacco. The rules did not state that I could not have tobacco products in the car just no smoking clearly this business is using this to get more money so RENTERS BEWARE

In my compromised state, I wasn't able to scrutinize the details of the move, which in hindsight, may have been a mistake. Three months after the move, I was unpacking with another moving company when I decided to check inside my jewelry armoire. To my horror, my late mother's diamond engagement ring was missing. After discovering this loss, I immediately reached out to the owner of Strongmile Movers, hoping to find some resolution. However, despite my persistent attempts through phone calls and text messages, I received no response whatsoever. Adding to my frustration, I also contacted one of the movers directly after they had inadvertently left several items in their car following the move. One of these items was prescription dog food that my dog desperately needed due to digestive issues. At first, the owner of the company hesitated to acknowledge I had left items behind, suggesting I check my apartment instead. After some back-and-forth, the mover returned with the dog food, but the entire episode left me feeling uneasy about their professionalism. Now, I can't say for certain that Strongmile Movers were responsible for the disappearance of my ring--after all, I did not see it between my two moves. Yet, one would expect a professional and responsible moving company to handle customer concerns with care and urgency. The owner's lack of response makes me highly suspicious regarding their practices, including whether their staff have been properly background-checked. As a result of all this, I'm left with no choice but to involve the police to resolve the matter of my mother's irreplaceable ring. The emotional and financial value of that piece of jewelry is significant, and the stress accompanying this experience is truly overwhelming. He explained the situation and was generous in fixing the issue. I've never dealt with a company that was so swift to fix any issues I may have had during my move - they were keen on listening to my needs and even went into depth discussing the day and some of the reasons these issues below might have happened. Because of the 180 in the service, I would definitely recommend them. It shows that they do care about their company and making it grow -- as well as ensuring the customer is happy! They're not just there to pocket some cash, but they genuinely want to ensure you are pleased with their service. The movers themselves were wonderful guys - personable and helpful. In the old review the issues I had were the: - toll fee I was not made aware of - 2.5 hours late (but it was a very busy Saturday)
