so our car broke down on the parkway exit 125. What I didn't know was that you had to go through the parkway website to get a tow on the parkway. They send Julian's over to us, the only thing was they wouldnt take us where we needed to go and dropped us off at a random street off the parkway. They charged us 150$ to go maybe 4 miles. then left us on a random side street. can't believe this was something they were allowed to do, we wound up having to call another tow company to take us home which was less then 10 miles away. Long and detailed review 0/5 I was harassed by an employee Drove by this place recently and remembered an experience I had back in June. My radiator cap came unscrewed while I was on the parkway and spewed coolant all over my belt and caused me to lose everything. 20 minutes into me waiting for my dad to bring me more coolant and for the truck to cool off a cop stopped to make sure I was okay, he told me I could wait as long as I had to, but to call if I needed a ride into town. 10 minutes after that a tow truck from Julian's Garage pulled up behind me and motions for me to get out (on the parkway at rush hour). I ask him "Hi can I help you?" His response was "Yeah you can get off my parkway". I told him all I did was overheat and I was waiting for my dad to bring me more coolant since almost all of it was gone. He told me that the state police called him to get me off the highway, I asked him what the time limit on being broke down on the parkway was and he said that it didn't matter because I wasn't allowed to leave an abandoned vehicle on the parkway. I asked him if he or the police were going to arrest me for sitting there for another hour while I waited for my dad to bring me coolant, then he told me it was $107 to get off at this exit or double if I refused service then I'd have to pick it up on Monday at the shop. I asked if I called AAA if they'd pay for it, he kept dodging around the question and saying AAA couldn't tow on the parkway, but that wasn't what I was asking. The man harassed me for 45 minutes and tried convincing me that I blew/seized my engine and eventually I was just too tired to argue with him and had AAA give him the okay to tow me to the quick check. He acted surprised when he tried to turn my truck on to get it off the dolly and it started right up and was mad that I didn't give him any tip. My assumption is that he was looking for a quick $107 and hoping I'd pay him in cash rather than AAA. read more

I wish I got the gentlemen's names. They went above and beyond their duties to get me down to exit 91 safely, with the vehicle on the bed. One driver stood by with me so I'd be in the truck with the heat since my vehicle wouldn't start, while we waited for the other truck. Amazing company, and workers. God bless them. I'm so happy I towed my VW CC to Julian's after hitting a huge pothole. They did top quality, very reasonably priced repair work and I was more than impressed with their EXCELLENT customer service. Everyone was helpful, polite, patient, and friendly. The owner made it a point to get on the phone every time the shop and I communicated. He personally kept me in the loop about the status of the repairs, pricing, and what was going on with my insurance/claims adjuster. Luckily, Julian's is also an Avis location. They gave me great deal on a nice, clean rental car. They even stayed late so I could pick up my car after hours-- which was washed, free of grease stains or dusty footprints, and drove as good (or better?!) than the day I bought it. It's a shame that they are so short staffed sometimes they can't travel far, especially being the only towing company that can take cars off the Parkway, but Ed was so nice and was able to help me even though other companies and AAA could not. read more

We have taken our vehicles here for service for years. The labor is very reasonable and they have most importantly always been honest. Last winter we had a problem in a snowstorm and AAA told me a tow truck couldn't be dispatched to us at the nomen and we would have about a 120 min wait... We called Julian's (who is a AAA approved tow company) and they had a driver with a flat bed in less than 15 minutes even in the storm. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

Used Julian's for tow service when we broke down on GSP. Driver refused to take my credit card upon arrival at destination and would not release my car unless I paid him cash. While trying to find a way to bank to get cash driver called my cell and told me if I didn't hurry he would impound my car. Not only was he rude but also insulting. If I had been told prior we could of stopped on way to get cash. My experience with Julian's was horrible while they towed my car as asked their customer service is terrible and I would never recommend them or use them again. read more
