We recently stayed in orlando and needed more room than a hotel room. It was spring break for my last 2 youngins. We stayed on vista cay resort property. We rented out a very nice, spacious 3 bedroom. Looking at the reviews made me skeptical. I had to see it for myself. Each apartment unit is different. The property is gated with passcode access. The grounds were well maintained and that was a good start. Once we entered the apartment it was just right for us with plenty of room. The entire apartment was nicely decorated with flatscreen tvs with cable channels in every room plus living area. Kitchen also had all the appliances, dishes for cooking if you would like. There was also a pool table to shoot pool for entertainment in the front room. My boys enjoyed that. Throughout the night it was very peaceful. No noise or any night disturbances from the neighbors. There is a very nice lake to walk around with plenty of parking near each apartment. I will definitely rent through milllenium properties in any state i visit that they have rentals in.

We experienced an outlandish situation, from Florida/Reunion Vacation Homes. We rented a property…read more- 115860 RVH_1028R Linkside Breeze, for 16 days. We arrived (6 adults and 3 children) in Orlando from Brazil with a confirmed reservation and the house rented by us was being refurbished. Amazing because we did not receive any notice prior our arrival. On the contrary we received a "welcome letter" saying " Your property has been inspected prior to your arrival, so we expect you to enjoy a trouble-free stay". We did not get any support nor assistance from the manager James Cockman. The way he acted seems he does not care at all with the customer satisfaction or he considers normal the situation we faced. He offered in exchange a house completely off the standards we expected. When we said "NO" He did "ZERO" to help us to find another property in Orlando. The only thing he offered, very proud, was a full reimbursement. We were 6 adults and 3 children looking for a place to stay in Orlando in a high demand period, without ANY SUPPPORT. The reimbursement is far away from what we expected as a compensation for an absurd mistake, moral damages and time we lost. Florida Vacation Homes NEVER AGAIN.

Bussing to the other parks is surprisingly convenient, there is one bus for Volcano bay, and another that drops you at security for city walk, Univeral & islands of adventure. Bonus points for it being the first bus as you get off the esscilator after your park day over there! The dedicated entrance made it super easy to just walk right into the park. To the point that our day spent at universal & IOA, we ended up coming over here to get another couple refills on our cup and grab a snack. It also made it super easy on the day that Monsters unchained had been down all day to hop up when it reopened and re enter the park to ride it when it opened an hour before park closed, and a lot of people had called it a day. The room itself was really nice. We went with a more basic option that ended up overlooking the pool area. All of the staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. From front desk, the gift shop and the universal desk. We didn't try the restaurant, due to having so many options in park we wanted to try. The biggest issue I could say about this place is pricing. There are times if you luck out that you can snag a room for 200. But most of the time this is one of the more premium priced rooms. The perk of being right at epic made it worth springing extra due to my 11 year olds needs, and honestly us adults appreciated it too. Though I'm sure it's a turn off for many. For us we plan on staying here if we add a single day stay for coming by Epic just before or after a cruise. Maybe even do a toothless suite that time cause we couldn't do it this time. .

I've stayed here several times over the last 15 years, and it never disappoints. As one of Universal Orlando's original three Premier Resorts, it has everything you could want. The rooms are huge, the beds are hands down the most comfortable in all of the Universal hotels, the sheets are unbelievably soft, and there are plenty of great restaurants on property. The value is incredible too. Your room key doubles as an Express Pass at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and if you've ever priced those passes, you know they can easily cost over $200 per person, per day. That alone makes staying here worth considering. We kicked off our trip with drinks at the Thirsty Fish. Check out my separate review because it was fantastic. We also had dinner at Mama Della's, which deserves its own review as well. This trip was all about the resort. We talked about going to CityWalk and maybe even hitting the parks, but we were having such a great time that we never left the hotel. Since it was just the two of us, it turned into the perfect relaxing getaway. Most people head to the Beach Pool with the slide, but we spent our time at the Villa Pool, and it was exactly what we were looking for. It reminded me of the pool at the Ritz-Carlton. Palm trees everywhere, a huge pool, tons of lounge chairs, and a much quieter atmosphere. It's only a short walk from the Beach Pool, and I was happy to find out it has the same full food and drink service. I ordered a tequila berry spritzer...or at least I think that's what it was called. I'll post a picture because I can't remember the exact name, but it was so good that by our second day it seemed like everyone around the pool was ordering one. Our second night, a big thunderstorm rolled in. We had reservations at CityWalk but canceled them, grabbed pizza and a Caesar salad from Sal's Market (see that review too), and had dinner in our room. Honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip. Good food, a little TV, some quality time together, and no reason to be anywhere else. We were only there for three days, but it felt like a true vacation. Whether you're coming to Orlando for the parks or just looking for an amazing staycation, Loews Portofino Bay is hard to beat. Was this review a little long? Probably. Do I care? Not even a little. We had an amazing time, and I think you will too.

We enjoyed the resort, yet I felt that the standards should've been a bit higher for cleanliness for the price of rooms. The room was fairly average and a decent size, but it seemed to be cleaned in what I call a "surface clean" instead of a deeper clean. At a glance everything was tidy and accounted for, but I noticed a handful of things that needed to be addressed: one bedskirt had many large white stains easily visible, the bathroom doors had quite a few dirty hand/fingers prints, the shower floor felt somewhat slimy under my feet with some clear mildew, and while the bathroom floor was mopped/vacuumed, the edges of the bathroom weren't tended to so some buildup was visible. And while I'm sure it's a hard thing to address, we did see a few large cockroaches around and while getting into an elevator at ground level. These sorts of things that fall outside of a basic room cleaning should at a minimum be addressed regularly if not at each room processing. For me, they definitely take away from my impression of a hotel/resort, especially one marketed as deluxe or luxury. As for the beds, I'd actually chosen this hotel for reviews that stated the mattresses were plush, however while I'll admit they weren't extremely firm, they definitely didn't feel plush. The food at the restaurants was consistently good...we enjoyed a few meals at Trattoria and a takeaway pizza at the Deli...appreciated they had gluten free crust as well as snacks available. Again, beautiful resort, pools, grounds, and great access to entertainment...they just need to up their game in housekeeping.

I've rented this house 4 times now, and I will say it has really gone down since my last stay. -The carpet needs to come up, it's beyond cleaning. -The walls need a fresh coat of paint or either a good cleaning. -The pool needs to be cleaned. - The patio needs to be pressure washed, as well as the weeds pulled up. -We ran into roaches(German, the smaller roaches) during our stay as well. I picked up bug spray, but still....and yes I know this is Florida, but bear in mind, I live in coastal SC, so I know the difference between a nasty roach and a common cockroach(palmetto bug/waterbug). These roaches, found upstairs and down. - The living room set needs to be replaced. Overall, I think it's time for a good revamp on this property. There once was a time when our stay was super comfortable, but this time we were left feeling uneasy about our stay. The house is very stocked with cooking essentials, pool towels, and bath linens. The travel size bath sets were a nice touch! As well as the casiola tote and cookies!! While we did appreciate the opportunity to occupy this rental again, I know for certain for our trip in August, we won't consider this rental. We are still very pleased with Casiola, just not this particular rental. The communication was open, they were prompt with a service call, and accommodating with early check in. I hope the owner sees this review and decides to make necessary changes to make this rental more enjoyable for guests.

There are multiple buildings and we stayed in building 2. It was quiet even though close to the highway and a very short walk to building 1 where breakfast is served. The last comment about this stay was we dropped the remote control behind the bed and we had to move the bed and we found an old shirt behind the bed not sure how long it's been there but i don't know if they clean behind the beds but besides that it was great.
