This is the primary dentist for both of my children. My daughter and son are 7 & 8 years old and have not been to any other dentist. I have no complaints about their treatments. They are really good about being flexible with my schedule. Both my husband and I are super busy parents and they don't hassle us about needing to reschedule from time to time. The kids love the environment. They have games, books, magazines and movies in the lobby for eager children awaiting services. The colorful and playful set up of the office helps to put my kids at ease. They never seem intimidated or scared of what is to follow. My kids are a part of the no cavity club consistently! I've been here 3 times with my son and each time, I left feeling really upset and frustrated. The space doesn't feel welcoming and it was as if the staff is always just trying to get through the day. I mean I get it, work isn't always fun but as a first time mom with a 1 year old with cavities, I had a lot of concerns and was nervous about what steps we'd need to take. Neither the front desk or doctor eased any of those concerns or even helped me calm my son while he was screaming in fear. We both felt unsafe and I couldn't even think straight due to having so much anxiety. At our last visit, I was very hesitant about continuing with them and they ended up referring me to another dentistry in UW. The problem is, that office wasn't not in-network with my insurance. They are terrible about booking appointments. They don't let you make your next appointment while you are at their office for your current visit. They state that they will contact you, by contact I mean send you a post card, to make your next appointment but don't do so until it is time for your next appointment. So when you call them to make the appointment, that you need immediately, they are already booked up and you can't get in for another month or so. So now you will be a month or so behind on your regular cleanings. Nothing about the experience is convenient. read more

FYI they won't let you go inside with your child (due to Covid-19). I completely understand policy, but when I brought up my concern to the front desk woman called Claudia, she said " I f you don't like it just go elsewhere". Instead of easing my concerns, she was completely rude, and talking to me like my worries were stupid. I let my kids to continue with the appointment because they were excited to get their surprise bag, but I couldn't help thinking if this is how they treat an adult that can speak for themselves, just can't imagine how they treat little kids back there. She had many ways to kindly respond to this, but she chose the nasty one. I would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

Definitely recommend anyone with small children to this children's Denistry! The staff are very welcoming and are very experienced with their little patients! They made my boys very comfortable with the cleaning tools so they weren't afraid and knew how to talk to them about the importance of keeping their teeth clean and healthy :) read more

I truly enjoyed this office, they have video games or movies for the kids in the waiting room as well as a slide for the little kids. They are very communicative and very respectful. My children do not have any fear with coming to the dentist. read more

Super disappointing. I mean, I kinda get it: kids can be little s**ts, and I don't know many kids who like going to the dentist, so I'm sure working here is exhausting. But, if you're going to brand yourselves to specifically target children, you're going to need to be "on" all the time. Despite the name and the fun decor, I didn't feel like anyone there was actually excited to work with kids. My 2 year old can be a little timid when experiencing new things. I actually think this is very healthy. But, if she's given a few minutes to process and proceed at her own pace, then she opens up and her personality, which is outgoing and gregarious, really comes through. Unfortunately, it didn't seem that the dentist or hygienist we saw had the time to try to make her feel comfortable. They kept pushing and pushing which only increased her anxiety. It seems the only trick they had in their back was to try to bribe her with a balloon. Sorry, my kid is too smart for bribes. I know, I've tried. Needless to say, we won't ever be going back. read more

Amazing! So our kiddo had this fever and complaining of his teeth hurting. We noticed the swelling gum lines, bad breath, and his lack of food enthusiasm. We were originally going to ride it out to a Monday to go to The Kids Dentist but after we see how much he was suffering I had to try and get him in on a weekend, Saturday. I search the net and after a few calls, found this place. I'll have to say, they are hard to get a hold of. I'm sure it's because it's a weekend and they may have a skeleton crew. Nonetheless, I called left a message and was called back within an hr after a couple of phone tags. They accepted WDS and had an opening! We took it. Fast forwarding, follow up appt a week later was the BEST experience we've ever had with our kid at a dentist. Mind you, he's 3 so he hasn't gone that many times. That's beside the fact. We got there, purposely arranging it so we are the last patient there on a Saturday evening. Our experience is beyond amazing. I believe Amanda is her name, dental assistant? She was great with out kid. She saw him during our last visit and knows that he's "difficult". I watched her interact with our kid, allow him to play with the cleaning instruments (the spinning brush thing), gave him a toothbrush and toothpaste to show her how he brushes, of course a toy (rubber duckie). My husband and I were beyond amazed on his cooperation. He even allowed the dentist to count how many teeth he had. Opened wide and doing a great job. I'm definitely recommending this place to my friends and family, actually I did while half way thru this review. We actually look forward to the next appt in 6 months to see how he does with cleaning and X-ray!! read more

When we walked in my son was so happy and excited! The entire place is like a forest with animals and trees! They waiting area had 4 TV's with video games for the older kids! And books and puzzles! Then for the younger kids they have a slide and padded floors! So cool! It was our first visit and I had some paper work to fill out took about 10 minutes and then they called us back. The dental assistant understood that my son was two, she showed him all the tools that she would be using he was more interested in the fact that in his chair above him Finding Nemo was playing. She cleaned his teeth and was so understanding that the drill scared him and she did her best to calm him and make him feel comfortable. The dentist was amazing with my son! He got my son to open his mouth and count his teeth! Was fantastic! As we were leaving they gave my son a goodie bag with some stickers, a toothbrush and a rubber duck! He also got to put his name on the no cavities wall!! This place is fantastic! It's so warm, friendly, and such a positive atmosphere. The assistant's were so good at answers questions and were so understanding with my concerns! Awesome dentist for children! read more

The front desk girl who worked the morning shift today is totally rude, she obviously doesn't enjoy her job or isn't getting dick with that attitude she has. I wasn't giving her a hard time at all I was being wayyy nicer then i am right now. She gives "I don't care about the patients" kind of vibe. DO BETTER or else Ima handle you. Horrible customer services. I scheduled to 7 years daughter to have Resin-Based composite back in August. Paid $75 dollar copay, they called to had the X-ray transferred from our previous dental office. The Dentist checked the teeth, and told me they are not sure if my dental insurance covers my daughter's fillings. They will checked with my insurance, and let me know as soon as possible. 4 months later, they never call me to follow up. read more

Took my daughter here for her very first appointment. She was a little nervous at first but the staff was so friendly! They took the time to explain to her each one of the tools they were using and she got to put a magnet on "no cavities" wall. The dentist seems ok but the front desk girls are incompetent. My 8 year daughter broke a tooth, we saw an emergency dentist who said it needed to be pulled by a children's dentist. So we call and relay that to the scheduler, instead of blocking off enough time she only made it for 15 min exam, now my daughter has to wait for two weeks until they can fit her in to have the problem fixed. I've never had an issue with getting in to any dentist when I have toothache and having it fixed same day. I run a doctor's office in Seattle and this would never happen there. Will be looking for other dentist in the area. When your child breaks a tooth and has pain being jerked around is not acceptable! read more
