My family and I absolutely love this place, Dr. Nick Raklios has a Kent and Maple Valley location. We've been to both locations. Usually it depends on what my kids have going on and which office would be easiest for us to go to. Both locations are clean and have video games for the kids to be entertained with. We've been going to Dr. Nick for about 6yrs now and we always leave happy. Honestly we've never had any kind of issues here. The kids are always happy after their visit. They have never complained about them being ruff on their teeth nor rude. Dr. Nick is very friendly, he makes you feel extremely comfortable. He can be pretty funny too, love his sense of humor. His office staff is good about making reminder calls, they do great with the insurance companies and payment plans when needed. Any questions or concerns that I may have they are always willing to help or check into for me. They are always very friendly and helpful. Both locations are awesome. I would most definitely recommend his services. read more

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this experience made me really upset. It was my first time taking my two kiddos to the dentist for a cleaning and check-up. The receptionist was nice and the wait wasn't long. But as soon as we walked into the cleaning room- from someone who has spent many years in the field of early childhood education, I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience for my family. The room has three chairs, without any barriers in between.. where two/three patients can be seen at the same time. There are no barriers (walls/curtains) between the chairs. There was a doctor checking the patient's teeth in the chair next to us and the child was crying. So, of course, because kids sometimes feed off of each other's energies.. and because there is no barrier, one of my children who was nervous about his first visit began to cry after seeing the other child cry. Although the room is uncomfortable, this was not my big issue. While one of my children started to cry and while I was attending to my other child and trying to listen to the doctor, I noticed the two hygienists just standing there staring at my kid who had his hands on his face and was bawling his eyes out. Without any attempt to help him, just talking between themselves. I unfortunately interrupted the doctor to express how unprofessional and rude they were being. One of the hygienists immediately started to talk back. Again, unprofessional. And guess what? I bet they're gonna charge top dollar just because they can for very minimal work. While I understand that one of my children was having a hard time, it does not give them an excuse to stand around.. staring and whispering. No smiles, nothing to comfort a small child. I think part of the job should be knowing how to interact with children who are struggling. Visiting the dentist is not an easy thing to do for everyone, especially for a first-time visit. I do not recommend this Kent location. read more

We have been going to Cascadia for two years now. Every single visit we have been greeted with respect and kindness and an efficient wait time. From the hygienist to the doctor and everyone in between, this place is amazing for littles (toddler). My son started going at 1.5 and he is 3.5 now. They do such an amazing job at being patient with the kiddos and anxious parents as well. When it came time for my son to have x-rays for the first time, we literally had four staff members working at the same time to make sure he was comfortable and calm. Don't bring your kids here, if you really care about their dental health. I don't normally leave reviews but this place treats you and your kids like a conveyer belt. Quickly move you through , a 15 minute appointment and they charge your insurance top dollar because they know they can. I'll be looking for a real dentist for my children- this won't suffice. $500 for a $15 minute appointment and dentist singing abc's to my kiddo, and sending us on our way. They also have very overpriced fluoride- buy your own and do the treatment yourself . read more

Very easy going staff who make you feel incredibly comfortable and talk you through all the procedures so you aren't left in the dark. They tell you want to expect after every oral examine and overall a really lovely staff to work with! read more

Dr. Nick is the best dentist we have had, we have taken our daughters to this location for a long time and are always happy with how clean everything is, the service is great and the dental care we receive from Dr. Nick and his staff is even better. My daughter recently busted two of her front teeth in a basketball game, her dad and I were out of town and couldn't be there to help her. We called Dr. Nick and he really made us feel better he was quick to get right back to us, he came in and had our daughters' teeth fixed and looking amazing the next day!! As we recently moved to their neighborhood, I made an appointment for both of my kids for today 4 pm. We got there at 3:50. The staff member told us we must to stay out because of covid and she will inform us at our appointment time. As we got there by walking, we didn't have any way but to stand outside. We was there for 20 minutes. Then my 4 years old son started nagging and crying because he was tired and the weather was so hot. I went there and described the situation to the staff member. She talked to the doctor and told me that doctor will visit kids in a few minutes. We stayed outside for another 10 minutes but nothing happened. My son was crying all the time and 3 staff members sitting there didn't care at all. It was enough for us, so I backed there and ask to cancel my appointment. They just looked at me and answered "OK". No apologies, no care, and no respect. It was the worst experience I could even imagine at a dentistry. Respect yourself and don't make appointment with them. read more

The most horrible experience I ever had at any type of business! They do not know how to communicate with their patients. I scheduled in July to have my kids seen in aug and I spoke with Jessica who said they needed to have my insurance information before my appointment. Which I thought was taken care of no one contacted me to get it done correctly but they did call me to see if I was coming in. Not until checking in did they tell me they don't take my insurance! As everyone else who takes the time off of work to go to these type of appointments it is frustrating to be told this when it could of all been avoided before hand! They have no empathy for their patients at all! As I'm waiting I can hear how rude they talk to them over the phone. I will NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone! Save your time and find a more professional place who actually does their job to check things before patient waste their time coming in! read more

The dental hygienist are wonderful here. However, there are a couple of things why this place gets 2 stars. 1. If you leave a voicemail, don't be surprised if they never return your message. They have another office in Maple Valley, and their phones are not sync together. Often times, I have to call Maple Valley to get ahold of someone. 2. My kids never get the same Dentist. The last 3-4 years we have been going there, we only met the owner once and we never saw him back at the Kent location since. We had met other Dentists whom I never remember their name. So if you're looking to build a relationship with the Dentist and staff, you may want to look elsewhere. 3. This is the biggest one. The last two times I have been here, the bench area in front of the dental chair would have hair tumbleweeds all over the floor. It's disgusting. Also, the metal square thing at the end of the dental chair is not screwed down and lopsided waiting for someone's foot to fall in. Please check your equipment and sanitation is a big thing for me. I don't think we will be back. read more
