http://www.dexterbowling.com/…read more Wow what can I say? Awesome Customer Service! I bought a pair of bowling shoes so I can go bowling with yelpers at THE Judy's bowling UYE's. I ended up buying a cool pair of shoes from www.bowlingball.com. They happened to be made from Dexter. It was on sale so I only paid $30! I was happy as can be.... Then my shoe came apart after just 6 games. The outside started to wear...and I was like...it's only cosmetic I can live with it. But the kicker was after the 6th game my left shoe ummm fell apart! The soles came off! Boo. Then I wasn't so happy...... So I looked up the return policy and well the store had just a 30 day return policy and Dexter stated that I would have to send it back to the place where I bought it on my own dime. For a $30 pair of shoes, to find a box, drive to a post office and pay for postage...ummm didn't seem like a great option. Just buy a new pair you know...not worth my effort. But I felt a little ripped off as a shoe should last more then 6 games! So I emailed Dexter and said that I realize what their return policy is, and how it wasn't worth it for me to mail it back. I attached a picture of the shoe. Initially they told me they would give me a UPS label...then later emailed me, telling me to throw away that pair and that they would be mailing me a new pair. And since the ones I bought are now discontinued, that they would send me an equivalent pair. They even let me choose the color, black or tan...I chose black. I just got them today and they are awesome looking. Dexter went out of their way, outside their normal return procedure and made me one happy customer. Now that's a company that stands behind it's products, and a company willing to do a little more to satisfy a disgruntled customer. Thanks Michelle......shes the person at Dexter who helped me get this accomplished.

After reading all the reviews, I am beginning to think Chris might be some kind of mythological…read morecreation. My experience seems to match that of almost everyone who has posted a review. In my case, I was placed in touch with Chris through GE appliance repair. GE was doing little help resolve our stove issue since the stove was no longer under warranty. Chris pressed me to contact GE and fight the company for an extended warranty repair since the problem was a defective design he has seen too many times before. When the company would not provide assistance, Chris laid out all the costs so I could make an informed decision on whether to proceed with the repair, which I chose not to do. He probably spent a good hour on the phone all total helping me with the issue, all without charge. He also gave me some amazing advice about a little known law in Maine called the "Implied Warranty Law." The statute is a powerful tool that extends warranties on most appliances to a minimum of four years. So bottom line, like so many others, I received fantastic customer support from a man who would not take a nickel from me. I was talking to a unicorn and just didn't know it...

I called Chris this morning because my GE Dryer wouldn't turn on. Basically the knob stopped…read moreclicking as it was turning so it wouldn't engage and I couldn't hit 'start'. Long story short over the phone Chris walked me through and helped me diagnose the problem. The knob had cracks at the base and for some reason that rendered it useless. in 1 min I had swapped the broken knob out with one of the others (1 of 4 on the machine) and I was back in business. He never came, didn't know my name, and basically helped me solve my problem with a less than 5 min phone call. It's actually a sigh of relief to know I've found someone that can do my appliance repair for me because next time I have an issue you better believe I'll be calling Chris again.
