Being listed as one of the biggest mazes in Maine and within the top 10 list of best corn mazes overall (a staffer told me #1 last year) I was close enough to try this maze out from my last destination. The paths were a bit wider but not as many paths or confusion and the ones nearer to me (Cherry Crest (#3 last year) and Maize Quest. Not as many puzzles and paths but maze has many ins and outs for kids and families to be able to leave early if they don't want the challenge or if they don't care about the trivia or exact paths. You get a free soft serve after completing the maze if you want. They do not allow ice cream or donut samples here. Disappointing as I probably would have purchased more otherwise. There are a variety of fruits and plants you can pick- probably a bigger variety than most places. Maybe because more things here are made here directly and not as mass produced, and also the overall cost is probably what makes this maze #1 in 2022 by USA Today. 2023 will be determined in several weeks or so. Pizza is good here. I like that is has some quality ingredients. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but it isn't a bad choice by any stretch of the means. My personality (and probably bias because it is closer to the area I am in) are both cherry crest and maize quest, but I also looked at the map on this one sooner than I normally would. Longish trip and getting old it seems- sigh. At least it was a good physical activity for me.

Tractor to sit on and take pictures

Great orchard with lots of activities. Great prices and great giant orchard. Has goats, apples, tractor rides, blueberries, raspberries, donuts, ice cream, cider, hot grilled lunch burgers, everything you could possibly need.

Absolutely love this orchard and love all the animals, corn mazes, and pick your own apples and pumpkins that they have every year. This is one of my favorite stops to bring not only my child but my husband when we come to Maine to visit every year we look forward to this, and I hope they don't ever leave.

I made my first adventure to Treworgy Family Orchards with my husband, who has never been apple picking before! I told him it was a must-do (for children; but growing up in the midwest, apple picking is as apart of me as whole milk and free-range chickens). We arrived about 2:30 on a sunday and the parking lot was nearly exploding with cars, though do to the shear size of the farm, you feel like you're at a private event. There are 22 rows of orchards with various apples varities: Macouin, Macintosh, Cort and Red Delicious. If you expect to find any decent apples within the first 10 trees of each row, you're crazy, but venture towards the end of the row and you'll find a smorgasburg of ripe apples for the taking. Once you've picked your fill, venture over to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect sized one (or wagon full) for your family. The sizes range from fits in your palm to Charlie Brown's "The Great Pumpkin". Had enough picking? Take a break up at the barn for some live music, delicious sandwiches with farm grown veggies, and a walk through the petting zoo of goats and alpacas. If you buy a ticket to the corn maze, Treworgy's famous event, you'll also have a coupon for a free ice cream cone afterwards. Their corn maze is not to be missed. Each year they out-do their previous design which have ranged from animals to machinery. This year was the "Loco Locomotive" and the Wall Of Fame (where you could sign your name in Sharpie) was located in the conductor's seat (check out the photos!). This is a great place for an afternoon date or a day out with the family. There are things to entertain any age and really just makes for the perfect fall event. Many thanks to the Treworgy Family for opening their beautiful farm to the public for everyone to partake in the merriment.

My son left this place in tears. Ruined his hole day.

Very hurt by this business. I arrived there today with my 9 year old son. I have a medical condition were the heat makes me pass out and I'm also pregant. I asked the lady at the ice cream stand if I could park down by the blueberries and pick that way if I got dizzy or over heated I could sit in my car with the a.c and cool down. I spent a lot of money in gas to get there as well, just to park, start picking and then have one of the owner come down and rudely embarrass me infront of other pickers and tell me I needed to move my car. I told her I got permission because of a medical condition and she was so cruel in her response. I don't know how this place can call themselves Christian affiliated when they don't even care about people with conditions that make it hard for them to pick but are trying anyway. They have zero compassion.

Been here about a month ago and still thinking about this orchard. This is one of the best orchard I have ever been to. It is organized, fun and great place of fun for the whole family. Their donuts is a hit for me. It was fresh, warm a little crunch outer yet soft and moist on inside. This delight is then covered in light sugar coat. Hungry? Yummy! Should definitely eat a donut. Their food cafe also offers pizza, ice cream , and various food items that you can purchase. There is also a corn maze for family fun. What I love about this orchard is that it offers a cart in which you can use to put your stuff in and bags of freshly picked apples. Along with the apples there are various berry bushes during its season for you to pick. There is also a flower garden in which you can cut your own bouquet. Great idea ! There is a animal petting areas too! Treworgy orchard is beautiful to walk and enjoy nature and at the same time pick your own apples. What can be better? If you haven't been here you should. Def worth a visit. I will go again next year. Looking forward to it.

    Strawberry fields

We went out to the orchard today to pick strawberries. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by a lovely lady who helped us figure out how much we wanted and where we should pick. We had our choice of 3+ different types of berries and were encouraged to taste a few to find our favorite.... they were all delicious. We picked three quarts and ate most of one by the time we got back home. They also had raspberries available for pick your own, and later in the year they have a corn maze and apple picking. I believe there are also baby goats at the main farm. We had a lovely time and will probably return before the end of strawberry season!

So, I have talked about this before in my other reviews, but it seems I must bring it up again…read more it's 2020, ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!!!!!! the fact that these people only take cash and checks is so disappointing. Ignorance is not even an excuse anymore for this, there are a million online merchant account companies that you can set up in all of 5 minutes, its NOT complicated and its NOT expensive. customers will spend MORE if they can use their card! many companies work with small businesses and even have plans with no recurring charges, just a surcharge per transaction, which by the way they could just tack on the price. Like $10 +($1 credit card fee). I would be HAPPY to pay the extra dollar for the convenience. this is elementary stuff, they should know this. they could have literally wrote a their PayPal email address on a blank sheet of paper and stapled to the wall. THAT would have been acceptable. But apparently customer service and common sense eludes them. SECONDLY, and more important, believe it or not, was my experience with the guys who wrap the trees. Here's a newsflash, if you run a Christmas tree farm or lot, here is what you say to EVERY customer. "We will be HAPPY to wrap your tree, put it on the roof of your car and tie it down for you". But my experience there? I asked if they would be helping me put it on the roof of my van, and their response "Either way". Huh? I could tell they did NOT want to do any lifting or tie-down work. they seemed annoyed and distracted and honestly clueless as to how to tie-down a tree. they used sub-standard twine that actually broke the first time they used it. It took a second guy to even attempt to help me, and he didn't even really seem like he knew what he was doing or that he cared to help. Oh, and did i mentioned they don't know how to tie-down a tree? they only tied the front- the drive home was not fun. And the woman selling the cider seemed like she didn't want to be there either, basically this whole crew wants to be somewhere else... So, they clearly need a tutorial or something. I would be HAPPY to write one. Oh Wait, I just did.

All ways so much fun going to get our tree here! Great looking trees, and they are very helpful…read more Bring cash! Trees are pretty good on price. We have gotten our tree there 4 years and counting!
