Where do I begin. Affordable Auto pros is by far the absolute biggest mistake of a shop I have personally been to. What makes Affordable Auto Pros so horrible compared to other horrible shops is that the horrible work that they perform is only the base of what this shop stands for. This shop likes to lie and dodge accountability for the "work" that they screw up. I took my vehicle in to get the fuel tank dropped and the sending unit replaced. They had taken my fuel tank selector valve apart and replaced the fuel lines. First off they used hard nylon lines and couldn't even cut them to length so they were bending out of shape. This cause the selector valve to miss align. They put the bolts for that valve in my ash tray and zip tied the valve to my frame. They used push connects to fit the lines and I couldn't even make it home without all of my fuel leaving my tank. Talk about a jank job. Additionally when all my fuel dumped out on my way home from Affordable Auto Pros, it damaged my lift pump and had to get a new lift pump and prime the entire fuel system. I brought my truck to another shop and they invited me to the back multiple times to see them work and take pictures. They had to torch the bolts off to get to the tank because they hadn't moved in so long. We go to the sending unit they "took out", and it looked as it hadn't been out since 1990 when the truck was new. Before I brought my truck to the new shop, I had called Affordable Auto Pros twice, and left 2 messages. No response back. I called them a third time after the new shop had fixed my truck wanting to resolve the issue. They didn't care. So I filed claims against the company and it will be a looong process to get my money back. If you ever have the chance to talk to Tony James, make sure you communicate very slowly, because he needs the assistance in understanding basic concepts like putting parts back how they should be. The most frustrating part is that this is not my first time at this shop. I was pleased with this shop previously on multiple occasions. But I need repeatability when I'm spending thousands of dollars. And this shop cannot repeat quality work. All in all I payed $1400 for the shop to horrible work, $800 for a new shop to replace fuel pump that broke and system prime, $1300 more dollars to have the new shop do the work Affordable Auto should have done. Think twice before you let dishonest people touch your car. If Affordable Auto Pros had just reached out and said "Hey this is too much to handle we can't do it", I would have been perfectly ok with that. I'm sure there will be a response from the shop saying "Oohhh that ls not how it went", "That's not true at all". But consider the fact that I wouldn't be spending all this time on a review to make this up. read more

These guys were great in every aspect and really helped out our family! They were able to move somethings around and get us taken care of right away. Very professional, honest and courteous. Oh my goodness! Picture this! Thanksgiving weekend, getting ready to head home from Dayton to the Keys... my car has the hot engine light on and sticky stuff bubbling up from Lord know where!!!! I believe I brought the wrong lift kit because Affordable Pro was unable to install the lift kit. I call another auto shop and they told me I order the right parts. They show me the front strut top plates were assemble backwards. They would reassembled them. Here the picture of affordable auto. So THANKFUL for this locally owned business. I was in FL from out of state and was hit at a red light while in Daytona. Affordable Auto Pros took my Expedition in on the SPOT, found my issue and IMMEDIATELY began work on my vehicle so that I could get back on the road and home. They were courteous, professional, and very thorough in their service. The owner even made a point to secure my replacement parts and make sure I was aware that they were under a lifetime warranty. My car was repaired and made the 400 mile ride home without ANY issues. I wish every mechanic shop was as willing to help as these guys! I took my car a few months ago because it was heating up and the ac only worked when the car was running. I went here because I saw it had many nice reviews and it was supposed to be much cheaper than the dealer. I was so wrong they told me the fan wasn't working and I paid almost 600 dollars and they did not fix the problem. They said they fixed it and gave me the car and when I checked before I left, they did not fix the problem . They said that the mechanic was new and he forgot to check to make sure the new fan they installed was running. they said they would buy a different part because it was " faulty ". And After going back and forth like 6 or more times they said I would have to go to the dealer and get a diagnosis and then they could fix it because they didn't have the parts to see what was really going on with the car because after the second fan they installed the car was throwing a check engine light. I went to the dealer and had to pay another 600 to get it fixed. They said it was something else. Not sure if the fan was actually damaged or they just made me buy the part trying to get more money to fix the car. read more

I'd like to tell everybody about my experience at this mechanic. First thing I did today is I went to one mechanic and explained what was going on with my vehicle, they took a look at it they came back and they told me that I need a new power steering pump and a flush it would cost me $300. A friend had told me maybe you should get a second opinion so that's what brought me here. So I went in told him what was going on with my car told him that I just went and the guy told me I need a new power steering pump and a flush. He said no problem we will take your car and we'll look it and let you know what we find. So they lifted my car and the guy came in and said it's this, this and this. So they take me out and they show me that I have power steering fluid leaking and they're like pointing to this and this and that's where it's coming from and you know we have to fix that and we won't know if it's the pumps bad until we fix the steering rack. They would get the steering rack off or whatever they do and get to the pump and that's when they would be able to tell if the pumped would also need to be replaced. Then he tells me I'm going to need an alignment after he does the steering rack. So I asked him what the total was or what it was going to be he quoted me $887 after tax $900. So you know I said to myself now I'm not really sure what to do so maybe I should go get a third opinion and see what they have to say. because now as a female I don't know I don't know what what's going on with my car I don't even know what that guy showed me so I went up the street to honest-1 got my third estimate. So they pulled the car in and they lift it up and they're looking and he comes out he's like oh you need a new power steering pump and a flush they quoted me a little bit higher than the first guy but that's okay at least they weren't trying to sell me something I didn't need. So I start to explain my situation to the third guy and I said I've had three three different shops look at it and one shop tried to charge me for something that I didn't even need fixed is what your saying? He said I don't understand why they would tell you that the steering rack needed to be fixed because all it is only the power steering pump and then you need to flush because it's contaminated. So I called over to affordable and ask them why would they tell me that I need a steering rack and that they wouldn't know if I needed a new power steering pump until they fix the steering rack? He says to me well we pulled you in and we showed you where it was leaking.... excuse me you showed me but I don't know what I'm looking at if you tell me this and this is what I need to get done and I'm going to assume that you're being honest and that's what I need to get done so at the end of the day I saved myself $600 by listening to my gut and going and get a third opinion. I would not recommend this place to anybody and if you do I would go get some more estimates before you pay to get your car fixed there. when I did let them know that I was going to be writing a review to warn others he told me well you should look at our other reviews there positive. So now I think to myself what did you have people write those for you and how many other people have been suckered into paying for something that didn't even need to be done.
