I left during my first appt before it was over due to feeling unheard and judged. As a woman in a same sex marriage, they were still pushing IVF over IUI and gave widely inaccurate statistics to make us feel like it was the only option if we wanted to have a baby. Stated success rates of IUI at 10% and IVF at 70%, which have been challenged and named incorrect for fertile queer women. Additionally, suggested I consider getting on Wegovy looking at only BMI for health data and not taking into consideration other factors including that anesthesia is not needed for IUI. read more

Insensitivity and lack of empathy would be the perfect description for this place. if you're not young and in perfect BMI health they won't even touch you. This doctor is beyond neurotic. She talks 500 miles a minute. My husband is taking testosterone and hcg and she said "I don't know if you get it from the gym, a friend or a doctor" *can you say, judgment?!* Then she ripped into me because I'm taking Xanax, and told me that my doctor is horrible. I read all the negative reviews and I was hesitant about seeing her. But everyone is right. She has no sympathy. She is so beyond judgmental. She even told me she suggests I go see a psychiatrist because I'm on medicine and I need to find out the root cause. SUPER inappropriate! read more

Rude and un-workable front desk/schedulers/doctors. We scheduled our appointment a month back. Since both the partners have to be there, I scheduled my time off etc. One week before the appointment they call and try to re-schedule the appointment. Whatever they suggested doesn't work, and the next best available is a month and half from the original appointment. They refused to consider any other closer dates to the original appointments (they mentioned, doctor has some other surgery scheduled during my original appointment). That doesn't make sense! The one(don't remember the name) who called mentioned "I spoke to your wife three times". You guys are not the only ones who are busy, she called and I had to call you guys to see if there a way we can work out the schedule, since it is you who re-scheduled the appointment. Our original appt was Dec 13 in the afternoon at 1:00pm, they asked in the AM. I had already taken time off for that afternoon. They wanted us to come in the morning, which doesn't work. Asked for alternatives, they said Jan 23 2020 optimistically or even some time in Feb 2020. If you get an appointment, it is not even a guarantee that you could see the doctor? Would highly recommend avoiding this place. I haven't seen a more unprofessional and rudeness from a person who works for a doctor's office. This is an indication of how your experience would be with this clinic, the best/worst part is we haven't even set foot in their clinic. Good riddance!! read more

After 10 years of struggling with infertility we tried RRC. We are now forever grateful to RRC for our precious little baby girl. The nurses are great! And unfortunately I found the wrong nurse practitioner along with Dr. Brabec support the bedside relationship quickly became toxic. Dr Brabec was suppose to be at my first appoint to do the ultrasound. After after several calls and pages this nurse practitioner proceeded on her own informing me that this was common for Dr. Brabec. Reality. Who wants to hear it's "your weight", "you've done this", or "you slept with the wrong people" with a laugh. Rebecca NP was the only one that actually listened to what I was saying. Sarah & Ashley were helpful as well. I can not recommend RRC. read more

Infertility is one of the most emotionally and physically trying experiences i've ever had. This staff goes out of their way to make you feel cared for. Each and every one of the NP's, nurses, and front desk staff are so kind and helpful, but i especially want to point out Ashley Terry. She always is very informative and answers my questions no matter how silly i think they are. I know we are very lucky to have found RRC. I'm writing this review because I feel it is important that other women/couples are warned before choosing to go to RRC for their fertility treatments. My husband and I had researched and felt like we had found the best clinic for us, we made our appointment with our PCP and had all preliminary testing done before our initial appointment which was scheduled for 6/19/19 with Dr. Brabec. On Wednesday (6/17/19) I received a call from Marge one of the NP's to give her a call about some very important information regarding my appt. on Friday. I received the message after hours so I called her first thing Thursday morning- she started going over what would take place at my appt. complete medical history, physical exam, ultrasound.... then she says, "I have to verify, it this height and weight correct?" I said, "yes, it is I suffer from PCOS." She then begins to break me down little by little with the following statements: "Ok, we WILL NOT see any woman who has a BMI over 40, we WILL NOT offer any diagnostics or treatment to a woman of your size! You should really call your insurance provider because I bet, they would cover weight loss surgery, because they prefer "THEIR PEOPLE" to be healthy. Now, are you still wanting to come in tomorrow even though there is nothing we will do for you?" I replied, No (in tears). She said, "Ok, because some people are just adamant about still keeping their appointment even though there is NOTHING, we will do for them." I said, no that I suffer from PCOS (which is in my medical records, patient history and why my husband and I are going through the IVF process in the first place!) and I am very aware of my weight and I have been working with my doctor on losing weight. (I am sobbing at this point, which was even more frustrating.) She then says, "Well, I sure hope you're having regular cycles (again I have PCOS) and if not, I hope your doctor is prescribing Provera to make you have a cycle because a woman of YOUR SIZE is likely to get uterine cancer! Once you reach 10lbs of the weight goal of a BMI of 40 feel free to give us a call back. Want me to go ahead and get you off the books for tomorrow?" I said yes, she said "Great, take care." I have never in my life felt so low and mortified as I did after that phone call. I called my husband in tears, he said we wouldn't want a clinic who has people like that in charge of our care or our future children's care! With the support of my doctor, family/friends and therapist I decided to call and speak to the office manager, Erica. Well, she did what I expected. "I'm sorry for your experience, it's really hard when deciding to make that call, do we call and cancel ahead or let people come in and tell them then?" I said, I don't have a problem with the call being made- what I have a problem with is the way I was treated and talked to! No one and I mean NO ONE deserves to be treated, degraded or humiliated the way Marge did me. She was the most crass, insensitive, rude, unprofessional with absolutely zero compassion individual I've ever encountered. People pay thousands of dollars with the hopes of becoming parents, infertility is already a scary and emotional experience the last thing a woman needs is to be made to feel like she is unworthy, or that it is her fault that she cannot become a mother. We are more than your facilities success rate, we are more than a statistic- we are HUMANBEINGS with REAL FEELINGS! Erica said she would make sure to talk to Marge about this situation and she was sorry. Well, Erica I hope you do, I hope your facility makes it a TOP priority to have some education and training on what you really are there to do- you are a clinic who is supposed to be helping people become families, you're in one of the most sensitive and most precious areas of medicine. We expect more of you and your staff- and to be honest you should too. If you aren't ready to jump into IVF, this is not the clinic for you. Everything was incredibly rushed. The nurse didn't even accurately measure my height or weight because she was in such a hurry. I am in a same sex marriage and felt that they treated us completely differently than they would a hetero couple. None of our "at home" attempts counted for anything to them. I was there to just ensure that everything looked okay since it had been about a year since we had last tried. They wouldn't even listen to me when I mentioned trying with our sperm donor and became extremely judgmental. They treated us as if we knew nothing and as if we just chose a random man off of the street to be our donor. They literally would not listen to me AT ALL. They just wanted to push and push IVF on us and wouldn't discuss anything else. They even flat out said they would have nothing to do with us trying on our own. I've never felt so judged and ignored by a doctor's office in my life. It wasn't until my wife mentioned that maybe we could try IVF that they seemed interested in talking to us at all. Once she said that they were suddenly ready to do blood work and an HSG. Definitely dissatisfied with this place and can't believe I actually have to send them money for that visit. I can't wait to send them a picture of the baby we make on our own at home though since they wanted to tell us it was basically impossible despite having NOTHING wrong with me whatsoever. I've since visited a different doctor for a second opinion who told us there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to conceive on our own at home. read more

MY body, right?! I was told I could "maybe" consult with a physician but THEY WOULD NOT EVEN CONSIDER FERTILITY TESTING OR EGG RETRIEVAL WITHOUT MY HUSBAND PRESENT. During my 15 minute discussion with the receptionist, I informed her that my husband is deployed, we have already been through one failed IVF cycle at another clinic in STL, and I was hoping to test and preserve what little fertility I have left instead of waiting 10 months for him to return home in order to start. Instead of sounding sympathetic or at least helping me problem-solve, the lady I spoke with was rude, interruptive, and argumentative. She actually interrupted me when I was telling her I would like another HSG since it has been two years and snapped, "Well if your tubes were blocked then, they're still blocked." Initially I felt about an inch tall, until I realized this is NOT okay behavior, especially from medical professionals! I asked her what I would do if I were a single mother and pointed out that my eggs are my own genetic material; I wasn't asking about fertilization or implantation without my husband, I was simply asking to do what many of my friends and others have done (for example, one friend froze eggs prior to starting her cancer treatment). I also pointed out that nobody demanded my husband's ok or his presence when my gallbladder was removed. She remained unmoved and dismissive. I didn't get a chance to meet the doctors or any other employees, but anybody knows a business' "face" and first interaction with the public is the reception staff, so I can only imagine she is representative of a much larger problem. read more

If you are not looking to jump straight to IVF this isn't the place for you. If it is determined you have male factor infertility consult a urologist on your own as they will not even suggest it. My wife and I wasted a lot of money trying to figure out why we couldn't conceive naturally and the minute I consulted a urologist I had surgery to fix my varicocele and we are now expecting our first child and conceived NATURALLY even though we were told it would never happen. read more

I can't say enough about RRC! My husband and I started seeing Dr. Brabec over 6 years ago and we now have 3 beautiful little boys (5, 2.5, 7 wks). Without RRC, we would still be childless. Dr. Brabec was very thorough in her examination of our past history and considered both my husband and myself to have contributing factors towards infertility. My husband was referred to a urologist and we were able to conceive through IUI which is much less invasive/expensive than IVF. Her staff is so caring and compassionate and walked us through each step of the process. We couldn't have asked for better partners in conceiving our children. Thank you, RRC! read more

I have started my IVF cycle with this center. I know one person said they felt hopeless after coming here but I did not. I was given options to help me attain my goal of a baby and told by the physician which option would allow me to be most successful. Coming up with the money if you don't have it could be a discouragement in the process of overcoming infertility as it is very expensive and you have to do everything out of pocket in most cases. I am staying positive and praying that I will be pregnant by December as my first egg retrieval is coming up soon. Its a process, so don't lose hope. read more

The only reason why I have my two angels on earth is because of RRC. We conceived one through IUI and one through FET. Both born full term and healthy. The team at RRC is extremely helpful emotionally, physically, and very professional. I wouldn't change any part of our journey that we've had so far.
