I spend a fair amount of time here, especially when I need a break from my computer. I've been…read moreattending for two years, and chose this location over the others around town because it was close to my work. Goodlife is a great gym, albeit expensive. Since they took over Nubody's, they've added a whole load of new classes, including the wildly popular Zumba. Since this place is right in the heart of downtown St. John's, businessmen and women flock here between 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., and it gets BUSY. You also get the usual crowd of people who aren't really there to work out, but men who stand idly to the side flexing their muscles while gawking at women, or women who show up with more make-up caked on than is appropriate even for a strip club. Service is friendly, however, and I never have problems using their equipment. I've been to the other Goodlife gyms, and they're great, but this one has the most open space (other than the Women's Only section, which kinda sucks).

Very unsatisfied with mommy and baby bootcamp. Program appeared unorganized from the start…read more Instructor did not show up multiple times with no prior notice. Make up classes were not communicated to group. Sessions that did go ahead were underwhelming and not tailored to individual fitness levels. Owners ignores questions via emails and deletes comments on business facebook page. Safety and health of participants are not regarded as during my first class moms and babies were made to walk across busy road not at a cross walk and the play equipment for infants is flithy. So unhappy with service stopped attending class and was told would receive a refund with no follow through.

For the mommy and baby bootcamp, the baby toys and mats are absolutely filthy, you might as well let your child play in a garbage dumpster. Stay away!
