UPDATE: I have since been in contact with one of the owners of Escape Quest. They apologized for our experience and provided an explanation to why we had such a long wait for our hints, as well as explained that they seem to have resolved the issue. They also offered a free pass for each of my teammates for us to return at a later date. I have changed my rating from three to five stars as we thoroughly enjoyed our experience other than the issue with the hint button. I would strongly recommend Escape Quest as they offer a great experience to their clients and have great customer service. My team will definitely be back to try another room and are very thankful for the resolution to the problem we encountered. I did the Patient 709 room with a few of my friends a couple of days ago and overall it was a great setup. A few of the puzzles were a little challenging at times but not too difficult for a bunch of teenagers. The experience was very immersive and went very well until we needed a hint...we ended up wasting about 15 minutes of our time in total waiting for a staff member to come give us our hint during two occasions. The first time we clicked the button for a hint when we had 25 minutes remaining...surprised that the game master didn't come; we kept returning and clicking the button every couple of minutes. Still, no response. Finally, when we had 15 minutes remaining the game master decided to give us our hint. It wasn't a big deal at first .. I get it, the game master may have been busy. But then we needed another hint five minutes later and ended up waiting an additional five minutes for the game master to give us our hint. To top it off, we were not even given the time we lost due to poor response times at the end. The game master told us that we could have escaped the room in no more than five or ten minutes when he kicked us out on the hour. If he had just given us the time we had lost waiting for him to give us the hint we could've escaped and the night would've been much more enjoyable for us. From my experience the room was absolutely amazing and the staff were friendly and great to talk to, however the wait made the experience very frustrating. read more

I just had my first experience at Escape Quest and it certainly won't be my last! I was so impressed with everything from the incredible set to the time and consideration put into each puzzle. The staff was also extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and energetic. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish and I can't wait for my next adventure! read more

I've tried 3 of the 4 rooms. they are amazing, quite challenging but also quite possible. The clues are well set up so you don't get stuck doing the wrong thing (not for long anyway) and there feels to be a logical progression to the room. read more
