I cannot rave enough about Repta Plastic Surgery! From my initial appointment (when I was only "thinking about" surgery) to my post-op follow up appointments, I have been treated with respect and kindness. After losing over 90 pounds, I had lots and lots of loose skin, especially around my stomach. So, the weight was gone, but I was still having to wear all of my shirts hanging out over my jeans or skirt. I just wanted to be able to tuck my shirt in and have a flat stomach. It was difficult to appreciate my accomplishment when I couldn't even tuck in my shirt or blouse. I'm 65 years old and had no visions of looking 25 again, but, dang! I feel more confident than I did at 25. Dr. Repta is a meticulous surgeon, but also, he is part artist. The results that I see when I look in the mirror literally bring tears to my eyes. He did what I dared not even imagine. He made me happy with my appearance for the first time in 40 years. The office staff is amazing and so friendly. I researched Dr. Repta for a tummy tuck, breast reduction and a bra line back lift. I followed him for almost a year before I had my procedures done. I think I watched every YouTube video he's ever done. He is seriously the top of the line when you think of plastic surgeons. I had a tattoo on my back and he lined it up so evenly. I have been a patient of Dr. Repta's for almost 10 years. He has done several procedures on me. The first set of procedures I had was a full mommy makeover with my first set of implants. Several months after the initial surgery, I had to have another surgery to correct the way the incisions scarred. Even after telling Dr. Repta how I scar, it was evident in the healing process and had to have scar revisions done to my breasts and tummy tuck line. Fast forward to 2021, I went in for a small breast reduction using the same implants from 2012. Several months later, I noticed 2 large masses on my right breast. I had an ultrasound and mammogram where it was determined the implant had ruptured. I took the ultrasound report into Dr. Repta and explained to him my findings as well as the conversation I had with the implant company and how they would pay up to $3500 to correct the ruptured implant as well as provide new implants since they were under warranty. All of this was explained to Dr. Repta and he agreed saying, he would get it taken care of and apologized for the rupture especially less than a year after having the revised breast reduction where the implants were exposed and he was able to check for any issues at that time. Dr. Repta has someone in his office by the name of Evalyn (?) who is horrible and has terrible bedside manner. As a long standing patient of Dr. Repta she would be one of the reasons I would not continue going to him for any kind of cosmetic procedures. When I called to explain to her what the findings were, my conversation with Dr. Repta she said I would have to pay $3500 upfront for the surgery center (Dr. Repta owns) as well as the anesthesiologist and then from there, I could be reimbursed directly from the breast implant manufacture for the $3500. First of all, if you stand behind the product that you put into peoples bodies, then why am I required to pay the exact same amount that would be reimbursed to you? I have an ultrasound report stating a clear rupture. The breast implant company also stated with a clear report, it automatically bypasses the implant having to go to their lab. Second of all, there is no reason this implant should have ruptred less than a year after another breast augmentation surgery. Considering I have had other issues I've had to have revised or whatever, this makes me feel like it was just ignored. Third of all, I'm a single mom with 3 young children. You stating I have to pay $3500 upfront is not only a huge sacrifice for me I simple don't have, nor should this be expected. My body has a ruptured implant leaking throughout my body for months now. This is dangerous and as Evalyn told me earlier, "this is infact considered a medical emergency". Yet you and your practice aren't willing to back you name to this? I am really disappointed and upset Dr. Repta. I hope you can make a good choice to make this right. I have been such a loyal patient with an abundance amount of patience. After losing 165 lbs I flew from Florida to have a plus size tummy tuck and bbl with Dr Repta several weeks ago... During my initial consultation, Dr Repta was kind, reassuring and never made me feel judged or like the melted pile of ice cream I felt like. Uncomfortable with my post mommy appearance and painful hernias, I visited many plastic surgeons in my home state. Every doctor and staff member looked at me like I was crazy for requesting someone to do a tummy tuck and fix a hernia at the same time. I've been through two surgeries with Dr Repta. I had lipo done on my upper arms, and I was super happy with the results. When I was ready to have more extensive surgery, I decided to go back. I had an arm lift, a breast lift and a braline back lift. The office staff was always kind to me and I appreciated them. The nurse Kim in the surgery center is especially wonderful, as well as the anesthesiologist. Dr Repta himself is a kind-mannered, quiet guy and I found him to be pleasant. The second surgery ended up not being as smooth as the first. Makes sense, it's a larger procedure. I didn't have my first follow up for the standard one week, and when I went in, he discovered the binder that was being used was cutting into my skin in my back and I had a really dark abrasion (black basically) that I couldn't feel because of the normal post-surgery nerve damage. So we ditched the binder, and at that point he recommended I keep it covered with non-stick bandages and lipo foam. This continued for about a month or so with it just getting worse all the time. Dr Repta didn't tell me until my 4th follow up that the wound was necrotic (which is an acceptable risk of an elective surgery), at which time he was continuing to recommend very conservative care. An over the counter antibacterial gel and the non-stick bandages. After I finally heard from him that it was necrotic, I decided to take more aggressive action and go to a wound care clinic ($2000 later, here we are). My notes indicated that Dr Repta noted my wound was necrotic at my first follow up and I'm very disappointed that I waited so long to get proper wound care. I have a large and ugly scar now on my otherwise very nicely done back. Overall, the results weren't worth the cost. They aren't bad by any means, but also not stellar. My nipples are crooked and two different sizes and my right breast's stitches popped leaving a really large scar, and I'm left with a roll of some extra skin on my arms despite the arm lift. The follow up care did leave something to be desired as well. I think my results would go from good to great if Dr Repta took a more proactive approach to aftercare. I believe the large and unexpected scars could have been prevented with more attentive care after the money has been collected. read more

Definitely one of the kindest and most attentive doctors. He's very thorough and genuine. My reason for a 3 Star review is for a poor rhinoplasty job. I had my first surgery to fix a large bump, and post surgery a noticeable lump was still there. I went in for a second surgery and I still have a lump and my nose is now crooked. It actually looks like I had a slight stroke. I need to go in for a 3rd but that just feels ludicrous and not to mention, expensive. My nose was straight to begin with, I just had a large nose from a profile view. Very disappointed that it is now crooked and still lumpy. He never makes you feel rushed or like you are asking too many questions. PLEASE READ BEFORE SEE THIS MAN I saw Dr. Repta after doing some research for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). He had some great reviews and thought he would be astounding. During my consultation, he mentioned a couple of other procedures, e.g., breast aug/ lift, some lipo- basically a mommy makeover which was perfect considering I'm a mother of 3. I felt pretty confident about doing the procedure and went ahead with the procedure. THEN the problems started. About a week post op, my right breast felt as if it was on fire. Originally I thought it was the healing process but then it became engorged and swollen and it hurt to even look at it. When I went to see Dr. Repta, he entered the room with this unbelievably rude, and hostile manor. Though he's soft spoken, he is incredibly sarcastic. He basically whipped my robe open to examine my breast and when in an aggravated tone and me if read the post op information because it seemed to him that I must've been involved in some activity that caused a HEMATOMA to develop under my breast. I was SO offended. Of course I read the post op directions. As a matter of fact, I've worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years. Anyway, after I asserted myself and told him that I didn't appreciate that sort of accusation, he immediately changed his tune and then we started talking about going back under the knife. Given it was an emergency, I got in quickly thanks to the wonderful staff... but THIS recovery was horrendous! After about 2 weeks, I then noticed that same breast started to droop. I had one nipple that pointed straight and one that pointed to the floor. Then, I noticed some redness on my abdominal scar which later started oozing yellow, smelly puss. I went back in again to see him. Now he is suggesting I go in for a revision of the best, AND he is going to remove the hematoma. Please keep in mind, I am a worker mother with 3 young kids, and now I can't work or pick up and hold my children. The last recovery was the most difficult. I felt uneasy and afraid of what the outcome would look like. It has been about 8 months since my 3rd operation. Abdominal is scar is what I expected, not great but I guess it's better than hanging skin. On the other hand, I hate my breasts. I have one nipple that points straight and the other point north east. As much as I feel this is something he needs to fix, I don't want to put myself through the embarrassment and irritation of this man that basically accused his botched work on me. I have already found another surgeon to correct it and funny enough, this woman told me she knows Dr. Repta and has done quite a few revisions of his original work. In my opinion, Dr. Repta's cockish demeanor clouds his realistic judgement. In my writing this, I am hoping to save someone else the unfathomable amount of wasted money, wasted time recovering, and wherever you work is understanding of the situation because what was supposed to be a week recovery before heading back to work, became over a month of procedures and recovery time. read more

But Dr. Remus Repta is one of the few surgeons that deserve to be where they are because of the talent they possess. I did a lot of research before choosing a surgeon, and his work stood out from all of the rest. Many surgeons provide a one-size-fits-all type of look, but Dr. Repta understands that each patient is different and therefore require different considerations and will have different final products. He was very attentive to my concerns and made observations about the balance of my nose that even I didn't realize, which shows that he has a great eye and is perfect for this field. Also, Dr. Repta makes sure that he puts his best effort into each case, which shows in his results. He spent an extra 1.5 hours in the operating room while performing my revision rhinoplasty because he did not want my results to be anything less than exactly what I wanted. In addition, his staff and office were wonderful. At every appointment I had, the staff was attentive to my questions and concerns, and they made my comfort a priority. Even after my surgery, his nurses would call to check up on me and see how I was doing. Everyone was very sweet and professional, which made my experience very relaxing and reassuring. I saw Dr. Repta because I really liked what he did for a woman I saw on TV with her excess skin after losing a ton of weight. I am the mother of 3 children and wanted to just tighten up some of the problem areas. I scheduled my appointment and Dr. Repta suggested a tummy tuck and some fat grafting. I had severe encapsulation around my implants as the result of another doctor's augmentation. I couldn't wear clothes to hide the distortion and was in continual pain. I needed the highest tier of doctor available to correct this problem. Dr. Repta took an immense amount of time with me explaining our options and asking for my detailed input. It was a 4 hour surgery, yet I had little to no pain considering the enormity of the process involved: implant removal, replacement, breast lift and capsule mass extraction. My breasts look wonderful as if nothing had ever occurred to create this problem, and I again feel confident and healthy. I have the great fortune to have discovered Dr. Remus Repta. I was in a very bad automobile accident in my early twenties and had previously undergone multiple surgeries to correct the injuries I sustained. The surgeries were complex and required a full forehead flap procedure and over 25 subsequent surgeries over a 20-year period to give me some semblance of a nose. This review is for the wonderful and amazing Dr. Kelly S. Collins. I found Dr. Collins while searching for skilled injectors who perform non-surgical nose jobs, and Dr. Collins consistently came up. After meeting her, it's no wonder why. Not only is she the most radiating person, but her attention to detail and dedication to every patient is unmatched. I have honestly never been seen by someone more caring than she is. Her work is absolutely stunning and she is the only person I will ever see for my injections, period! When having my initial consultation I was a bit worried because I already had a not so pleasant experience with another facility in the Valley. Not only was Dr. Collins an absolute pleasure to speak with, but her skill in what she is capable of doing goes beyond what most in Scottsdale can do. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I am a patient who had a revision rhinoplasty last week. I had a botched nose job done over 17 years ago and never had the time or money to fix it. I had gone to see other plastic surgeons but was not given much clarity or confidence that they knew what they would be doing. I found Dr. Repta after I searched top doctors , and since I learned he had a Gilbert office and I live in Gilbert it sounded good to me.
