Don't sit too close - apparently alligators have zero bladder control!! The Reptile man visited my children's school earlier this year and it was a huge hit! BE WARNED however! I've learned since this time that part of the act is to wave the peeing alligator in a big circle so that pee sprays ALL over the audience. Several friends have confirmed that this has happened at performances they've seen as well INCLUDING a birthday party in a private living room! Apparently its just water.... I'm still grossed out. The presentation was informative and humourous - parents and kids all enjoyed it and learned a lot. There were quite a few reptiles to see and meet and everyone was invited to interact with them in some way..... not all of them involved getting peed on. We found this experience to be carried out unprofessionally. The reptiles were treated more like toys than animals. The boa was placed around several kids necks, including my sons, who felt very disconcerted and for good reason. The alligator is small, but large enough to cause damage and it's mouth should have been taped. We have had the Seattle Reptile guy (Marc) over to our house and he is incredible. But Scott Petersen is an accident waiting to happen. read more

we had the Reptile man at our home for my sons 6th birthday. He was AMAZING!!! he was great with the kids, funny, entertaining, patient. He brought 6 or so reptiles and allowed the children to pet and hold them. seriously it was great!!! he talked for about 40 minutes and introduced the animals, taught some facts and then then the kids could hang with the animals. it was really great nothing but GREAT things to say. We had the Reptile Man at our house today for my sons 5th birthday. The show was incredible, educational, and so much fun. Scott was great with the kids (3-6 yrs) and kept them engaged the entire time. The kids were able to touch most of the animals, sit on the giant tortoise, wear the python, and we had plenty of time for photo opportunities. He drove all the way to Tacoma and there was no extra charge for the distance. The price was very reasonable. He gave all the families coupons for the museum and gave the birthday boy a DVD. We had Scott, The Reptile Man, come to my sons 5th birthday party on Friday 7/21/17. It was hands down, the best party. My son was so surprised, it was unique and even the adults enjoyed themselves at a kids birthday party. It was entertaining, and amazingly educational. I am so impressed. I highly recommend choosing The Reptile Man for entertainment at your next party, and this is not just for kids, this could be for anything, it was so great. He brought about 12 reptiles, the kids got to touch most, he talked about all, and after that he took out some of the reptiles for the kids and adults to handle and take pictures with. We invited Isaac for my sons birthday party and it was so much fun. Issac arrived on time with a big collection of snakes as well as a huge alligator, turtle, iguana and more. He was knowledgeable and made the session interactive and fun. Towards the end he allowed us to hold some of his animals and take pictures. He was very calm answering the endless questions asked by the super excited kids. This was a fun events at a reasonable cost for adults as well as kids.
