My family and I have been in the lake Stevens school district now for nine years. So far we have been very satisfied with the education the children have received.But the lake Stevens School transportation are filled with unprofessional and rude employees. Their supervisor will back the employees 100% whether they are wrong or right the superintendent will seem to do the same . So if you are moving to Lake Stevens your student may receive a better than decent education the teachers here are wonderful but unfortunately Lake Stevens has become overpopulated so the schools are becoming overcrowded. As for the lake Stevens school transportation all I can say is there are a few great apples out of tons of rotten ones. read more

I believe you can book the dinner separately if you choose. We went with the midday tour that included lunch. Really pleased to see this is still going as it has been a thing for almost 100 years! I had fond memories of this tour and thought it would be fun for my wife to experience it since she didn't grow up in the PacNW. Booked the tour along with some friends and Mother Nature smiled on us and gave us some spectacular weather. It's a bit of a drive from Seattle but well worth it. There are some fun diversions along the way if you want to stop and get some farm fresh eggs and vegetables too. The friendly guides will also explain to you why the water is a crazy cool shade of green. :) You'll definitely want reservations for this experience. Quintessential PacNW.

We hired Miguel from standard insulation to go in and remove all of the insulation and replace it with building code required insulation throughout the house. Miguel, the owner of standard insulation and his crew did a fabulous job throughout the house. I have been in the insulation business for 40 years and I've never seen anyone better than Miguel. he is a rockstar!!! The crew is friendly and fast. They left my infant crying while they were just standing…read morefilling out paperwork and no other babies were needing care and he was just losing his mind with no one checking on him... they also gave him his very first solids knowingly without even asking or checking about food allergies, robbing me of that sentimental experience as a first time mom... they also accused him of later being "a mute" and made comments about autism without any licenses, education, or formal training to be able to do so or qualify them to diagnose him as such (he is thriving and his doctor and me have no concerns about this, he just didn't feel safe there I truly believe!!!), and let my child be bit over 3 times in one day and 10+ times in a week without even bothering to notify us as the parents... I sincerely regret trusting them with my child's care and beg you to avoid this place like the plague. My child did also report that one teacher hit him on the head which I believe did happen. Each time I reported any concern, I was ultimately given reassurance but nothing was every done except move my child to the next class which of course had its own set of new problems... when I ultimately took my child out because of safety concerns after he said he was hit by his teacher, and lost thousands of dollars because I didn't feel comfortable sending him there... the main supervisor (can't remember her name) didn't even bother calling me back when I reported what my son said about being hit by a teacher. She acted like I was inconveniencing her when I called to follow up about it, very very strange. I do regret not involving law enforcement. Horrendous experience!

My child has flourished at the school, coming out of her shell and feels so welcomed and loved at her school. Ms. Kymm, the school director is wonderful, kind, and clearly passionate about the school's program and every child. Ms. Kellie, the lead preschool teacher is a treasure and truly develops a bond with each child. I have loved that it's a smaller school, where the teachers are able to give more individualized attention to each child. They do a lot of fun activities and the curriculum seems very well planned out. This school has been a safe space for both my girls. My younger daughter is in the Pre-K class right now. My Husband and I go out of our way to drop our children at the little red school house. Ms. Elaine and Ms. Sophie in the Pre-K class upstairs are treasures and are kind and smart and amazing educators. Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Kellie in the downstairs Preschool classroom are kind and patient and all-around wonderful teachers. Ms. Kymm the Owner has a well-run school. I always felt like requests were addressed and there was good communication. The class sizes are also small. The Pre-K class has 12 children, and the Preschool class has 10. The school has cameras, which I appreciate very much because it made me feel better to see my babies while I was at work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school. I had enrolled my younger Daughter at Country Dawn, and I do have a preference for Kids Way even although Country Dawn is closer to where I live. I had also enrolled my older daughter at a very reputable (and expensive) daycare in Eastlake area of Seattle. I still have preference, love, and high praise for Kids Way. The two-classroom space makes it more intimate, but the organization makes it seem like a bigger/well run school. I appreciate this so much and appreciate Kids Way for taking such good care of my children all these years.
