I waited 20 minutes in line, then got rude comments from the guy when I grabbed tape for another customer. Then when it was my turn, he was distracted helping the other agent the entire time. The UPS store at 3420 Pump Road in Short Pump has a manager who refused to ship a package to Israel, a decision that was not aligned with company policy. Upon contacting the owners and confirming that this was a personal choice made by the manager, I was disappointed to find that no action was taken. Moreover, after sharing my concerns with the owners, whom I believed were committed to not condoning antisemitism, I have been ignored. Having been a loyal customer with a PO Box at this UPS store for over 10 years, it is concerning that they do not value our loyalty or seem to care that they employ someone who would engage in such behavior. If they hate Jews and Israel, who will the discriminate against next??? Needless to say, we have moved our POBox to a very friendly PakMail business in Manakin Sabot. I'll never understand those who hate Jews and Israel, for no reason at all. I signed on, put a card on file for auto payments and since I use the unit for business storage, I routinely engaged the site manager. He never bothered to inform me that a massive rate hike was on the horizon. After 2 months I was informed my new rate would be $235. When I called to inquire I was offered a TEMPORARY $50 increase. There was no offer to place me in another unit at my negotiated rate. I was told the unit was rated at a much higher rate than I what I secured... but this was NEVER told to me.. they made sure to tell me I would need to "buy" a lock, offered all types of insurance and offered other add ones.. but was NEVER told the rate would go up to $235. BUYER BEWARE
