They routinely miss pickups and don't even bother to call or explain. When contacted they claim they will pick up on another day and fail to pickup again. They missed an entire neighborhood, the trash is now rotting in the cans in the August heat. Smells great in our neighborhood right now. We were told several days in a roll that our garbage would be collected only for it not to be collected. After this happened several days we were told that it would not be collected until our next regularly scheduled day. When our next regular day rolled around we got a robocall and an email, telling us that our Garbage would not be collected again for another week. Then a half hour later here they come down the street picking up the garbage. Horrible customer service. They lied when the the truth would have been better. This was not one house it was over 400. Three times I have a set up credit card payment on my account. I have spoken to someone in headquarters who is assured me that it has been set up. Now once again for the second time, I am being told that it was not paid through my credit card and once again they are trying to charge me a late fee. At this point, it's anybody's guess whether they'll show up on the scheduled day from one week to the next. Missed or delayed pickups have become common enough that I no longer feel I can depend on the service I'm paying for. What's especially frustrating is that Republic Services' parent company (RSG) continues to post relatively strong stock performance, yet the company seems unable to retain enough drivers to consistently serve its customers. As a customer, it raises questions about whether cost-cutting and staffing shortages are being prioritized over service quality. Reliable trash collection is a basic expectation, and right now Republic Services is falling short. Had my garbage on the curb, but it was not picked up on my regular scheduled day. Have called multiple times and been told a truck would come back to pick up, never showed up. Their customer answering service is awful. Not sure if they have outsourced their service calls, my second call there were people screaming in the background and he hung up on me (this is after 5mins of going thru an automatic call system. The 2 other calls, I was assured a truck would be sent out. No one showed up; 9 days of garbage, holiday weekend, and no way to talk to a person till Monday. Month and a half trying to get my container replaced. Promised every few days someone would come, it has been escalated. Very polite liars at best. First time, the driver was too lazy to get out of the truck to see the back side which is crushed and wheels held on by tape, but hey the front looks fine so CANCEL THE REPLACEMENT! Next time escalated to a supervisor who promised me she would call back to verify it was completed, but you did not, did you Heather? Why because your guy lied again and said the container was not out though it sat out all night and I have camera footage to prove it. Terrible service. Was forced to switch to them by oldham county. They literally never have a normal pick up time wwnt to charge for everything. You miss a pick up it's 33 and some change. You have a large item it's 80 bucks per item and let's not forget they literally don't touch a can so don't have more garbage than will fit in the cans or your screwed. Called to inquire with customer service about rates continuously increasing. No one was able to provide me a concrete answer besides rates increase overtime. I understand that however, but my rates have increased substantially since becoming a customer, which I've been a customer since 2016. Also, when speaking with the rep she stated that there will be an additional 17.15% Fuel increase, 18% environmental fee and administrative fee of $5.95. They missed my pickup more than they actually picked up my trash. When I contacted the company to request services after they missed my pickup, I would wait over a week for the request to be filled. I've had service with them, and Tuesdays are my pick up days. Well Tuesday came and told me that they've been on an delay. I called Wednesday about no pick up and I got told they was still out and if it doesn't get picked up then we will come on the 26th. Well Thursday came I called them and as I was talking to them I get a text message from them saying. We will pick it up on the 27th. To my frustration I thought this was unacceptable due to my trash being set out since Tuesday plus it's been hot. So now today they are supposed to come out today still. So I'm waiting to see, but I got another text stating if they don't come today it will be Monday. Come on if it's Monday, Tuesday is my regular pick up day.
