The wood siding had lead but his company is lead-safe certified (you'll be surprised how few contractors actually are - make sure you check their accreditation from DOL) and did a very careful job of removing the wood layer . This was important to us since we had young kids. Most importantly, I felt like Greg is trustworthy and does what he says he will. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

I had G.A. Siding put new siding on my home in 2019/2020 to also include other tasks. Their first…read morejob was to install a new front door and accompanying storm/screen doors. Gary's crew installed the new front door and told me everythig worked fine. It was during the summer so when I tried to close the door at night it WOULD NOT close and lock. I've installed doors in the past but my wife wanted the door to be professionally installed. I was ASTONISHED. How do you call a job completed without checking if the door closes. The next job was to slide the house. I thought the finished job looked okay. However, when the town building inspector came by to do his final inspetion he told me there were mulitiple building code violations some of which were blatant violations He said he was surprized to see a supposedly experienced sider try to cut so many corners. I had bathroom fans attacted to hoses that were vented out the roof soffits. Gary's crew removed the vent/hoses from the soffits and tossed them into the roof eves. What they should have done was to cut holes in the panel they were installing and reattached the existing vent/hoses. This problem was discovered a few years later during a home inspection while selling the house. Unfortunately, black mold set in adding to things I needed to resolve. Now let's go back a few years, a couple months after the siding job was completed side panels started falling off the house. I called Gary and he reattached some of the fallen panels, but didn't return to reattach the rest of the panels. Over time a couple more panels fell off. I continued to call Gary or his foreman to reattach all the fallen penals. They mad promises to fix the panels but never showed up again. If you plan to do busines with Gary, I would suggest you have an iron clad contract.
