Breakfast. Grab nutella, jam, & bread for a sandwich later!

For 8,000 points and $55 pre tax, I stayed here one night. I tend to start Residence Inns at 3 stars because let's face it, they aren't a Marriott Marquis with a club. There are no perks for gold members, and your status isn't recognized upon check in. I know I should like a snot, but staying 50 nights/yr to earn gold status is no easy feat! The room was a standard Residence Inn with a fully stocked kitchenette, full size fridge/freezer, living room, fireplace, etc. I do like the setup because it doesn't feel like you're traveling when you're in an apartment. Free parking and wifi are available. I docked a star for cleanliness (previous guest's trash in the bin) and breakfast. The poor Canadian bacon was pathetic as it dryly withered. The bananas were so bruised they were inedible. Luckily I didn't get sick, but the concern passed through my mind as I ate. I should note Marriott is the hardest to earn elite status - 50 nights for gold (2nd level) compared to Hilton (30 stays for highest level) and Hyatt (60 nights for highest level). I think I'll try another Marriott property next time. Hopefully your stay will be better than mine! Room $55 Bed tax $3.85 Tbid fee $2 Total $60.85

This is the first place I've ever seen a half court (basketball) at a hotel. Pretty cool for kiddos or players. There's an indoor pool. Pretty large and all to yourself. There's laundry facilities that I was happy about bec I needed to do laundry. The units were pretty clean. I bought laundry soap at the receptionist desk, but someone left a whole pod container....It was $1.75 each wash and it took $3 to dry one load at high temp. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get into our room so it gave us something to do. The room 318 was pretty clean. I'm sick so it was our first time in a 2 bd suite. The room I ended up in, the tv didn't work, the 2 lights and outlets on the bed didn't work either. The a/c was set at 66, but never came on once. I called down at 12:30am after sweating and the young lady couldn't assist me so she said I could walk down and get a fan....I got dressed and went down. Plugging in the fan was when I discovered the lights and plugs on bed do not work. Went down to eat (which was your basic breakfast offerings). The lady cooking, cleaning, etc was so friendly I left a thank you. And everyone has been so friendly! Came upstairs to 2 gentlemen trying to fix a/c unit. 3 of them kept trying to get it work while we were finishing up our stay-love that they were trying to get it cool for us :-) We ended up leaving room 15 minutes late due to a work zoom meeting hubby was on. That's why we are here. Hubby added a ginger ale and took awhile for the front desk agent to get it to charge and print our copy. That was a missed opportunity for the young lady to gift it to him for our hassles or throw some points or a discount or something to his account. It's not too late, Marriott! His name is Phillip Nelson of Long Beach, Ca. Haha! Anyway, upon leaving seen 2 of the gentlemen and it sounded like the unit needs replaced and the lights, plugs, tv was just a breaker. We thought even though this wasn't a great stay-we would stay again and do recommend them! Everyone was friendly. We will be back bec this is his work territory :-) I really cannot stress how friendly EVERYONE was, from front desk, to housecleaning, to maintenance, EVERYONE!!!!

My travel buddy resting after the first half of our drive home.

You receive a Hilton goodie bag with 2 water bottles and a Hersheys chocolate bar when you check in if you're a Hilton Honors member. I stayed for a few days and wanted a relatively quiet room away from the elevators. The receptionist helping me accommodated by putting me up on the 4th floor towards the end of the hall. Rooms are all suites here with a built-in mini kitchen with a big fridge + freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Comes stocked with plates/bowls/utensils/cooking instruments. You can even borrow a pot and hot pad for free from the front desk if you want to cook in your room. Super convenient if you want to avoid spending money eating out. Bathrooms come with large containers of shampoo and body wash in the shower, so you don't have to worry about awkwardly asking for more mini bottles of shampoo if you have long hair. Lots of lighting provided in the room, no matter which corner or area you are in. Plenty of desk/counter space for you to work. My room even came with a mini conference/dining table that you could roll out from under one of the counters. Free breakfast served from 6-10am down in the lobby. There's coffee and tea directly across from the continental spread. Juice (apple, orange) and water (flavored, plain) are available to the right of the food options. The options are very nice imo. There's cold cereals, hot oatmeal, fresh blueberries/blackberries, granola/nuts/dried fruits, microwaveable scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos/sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, greek and regular yogurts, milk, bagels/bread/donuts, DIY waffles, and a variety of spreads. Indoor pool and gym also available on the 1st floor if you are interested. There's an outdoor fire pit to the left of the front doors if you like to sit outside and chill during the evenings.

We arrived around 9:45-9:50 pm, just before the kitchen closed at 10. Abby, our waitress, could not have been more welcoming. She got us seated right away, recommended the fries (which were incredible), and made sure we had everything we needed even as the kitchen was winding down. Special thanks to Chef Joe, who deserves a big compliment for putting together such fantastic food at the very end of service. The wings were amazing, the burger was excellent, and the fries were so good that I actually finished them, which I almost never do. That says a lot. The atmosphere was fantastic lively but not overwhelming, with a party still going on since the bar stays open until 11. I haven't even seen the room yet, and I already love this place. Between the service, the food, and the energy, this stop turned into one of the highlights of the trip. Abby and Chef Joe both deserve a shout-out for making it happen.

While inconvenient, I understood and patiently waited in the lobby for about two hours until the issue was resolved. When they finally checked me in, they handed me a room key and room number. I went back to my car, grabbed my luggage and my cat, and went upstairs. My key card worked perfectly--but when I opened the door, I walked into a room that was already occupied by two guests who were in bed and completely nude. I immediately shut the door and went back downstairs. I felt awful for the guests whose privacy had just been violated, and I was honestly shaken myself. This isn't just an embarrassing mistake--it's a serious security issue. If the hotel mistakenly gave me access to someone else's room, what's stopping them from giving someone else access to mine? As a young woman traveling alone, that realization made me feel completely unsafe staying there. I asked to speak with a manager and was directed to the owner, who barely acknowledged my concerns before handing me off to another employee and walking away. The only solution offered was a different room. By that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying at the hotel. I was not proactively offered a refund or any meaningful compensation for what had happened. After a stressful day on the road, I had been looking forward to relaxing and enjoying my evening. Instead, I left feeling upset, unsafe, and extremely disappointed. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes matters just as much. Unfortunately, both the security failure and the lack of accountability afterward fell far below what I expect from a Hilton property.

It was SO convenient for a traveling family. The room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I appreciated seeing hand sanitizer dispensers in the elevators and by the breakfast space. No part of the hotel smelled like mold, which, in the eight hotels we've stayed in in the last two weeks, is a first time occurrence. Laundry room downstairs ($1 in quarters to run, which is half of what we had to spend at our last hotel) was right next to the pool, which meant we could run our laundry while we let the kids swim. The pool was a really great size with floor to ceiling windows for light, complimentary towels, and non-slip tile around the pool deck which you would think is a no brainer but this was the only hotel we've stayed in so far that had it. Downstairs they had 24/7 coffee, tea, and ice water available. We went by one night and they'd placed cookies out! There was a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire pit, market lights, and comfy seating. They also had board games out for use. The complimentary breakfast was awesome-- waffles, oatmeal bar, boiled eggs, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, juice. They also had coloring pages/crayons out for the kids that they changed out daily. Just adorable touches. There's also a little convenient store downstairs where you can buy jars of pasta sauce and pasta, frozen meals, etc. in case you need something to cook. The WiFi was pretty decent as well so I was able to get some work done. We appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff-- they were helpful with things to do in the area and with lighting the fire pit when we wanted to spend time with new vacation, friends outside.

JC The breakfast attendant went above and beyond what we expected to make our stay a more enjoyable one. Folks here are very friendly!!! I totally recommend this place If you're visiting for a couple days or even a week. The breakfast was more than continental breakfast. The breakfast burrito on Friday morning and the egg sandwich were very hearty and you can easily take it on the go. JC, the breakfast attendant is very attentive, helpful, very personable and social. He shared some of the touristy places to visit. He was prompt in refilling all the stations without having to ask for things. Stations were clean and food were well presented (robust). We've been to a lot of hotel breakfast but this place was , hands down, better than most. Front desk was prompt in any request. I do have to note that house keeping is upon request which is fine and I personally like that...my preference. Ben, the manager was able to reverse the double charge as we went through a 3rd party book. He even personally called us to follow up with the status of our charge. The only criticism I have as with most hotels are thin walls and heavy feet from tenants above. A definite place to stay and if travels finds me back to Billings, this will be home :)
