Absolutely our favorite hotel on this cross country roadtrip! The rooms are all like mini apartments with fully decked out kitchens, dishes, full size fridge, cooktop, microwave. It was SO convenient for a traveling family. The room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I appreciated seeing hand sanitizer dispensers in the elevators and by the breakfast space. No part of the hotel smelled like mold, which, in the eight hotels we've stayed in in the last two weeks, is a first time occurrence. Laundry room downstairs ($1 in quarters to run, which is half of what we had to spend at our last hotel) was right next to the pool, which meant we could run our laundry while we let the kids swim. The pool was a really great size with floor to ceiling windows for light, complimentary towels, and non-slip tile around the pool deck which you would think is a no brainer but this was the only hotel we've stayed in so far that had it. Downstairs they had 24/7 coffee, tea, and ice water available. We went by one night and they'd placed cookies out! There was a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire pit, market lights, and comfy seating. They also had board games out for use. The complimentary breakfast was awesome-- waffles, oatmeal bar, boiled eggs, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, juice. They also had coloring pages/crayons out for the kids that they changed out daily. Just adorable touches. There's also a little convenient store downstairs where you can buy jars of pasta sauce and pasta, frozen meals, etc. in case you need something to cook. The WiFi was pretty decent as well so I was able to get some work done. We appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff-- they were helpful with things to do in the area and with lighting the fire pit when we wanted to spend time with new vacation, friends outside. read more

Top-notched! I would give 10 stars if I can! What a great, clean, hospitable place. JC The breakfast attendant went above and beyond what we expected to make our stay a more enjoyable one. Folks here are very friendly!!! I totally recommend this place If you're visiting for a couple days or even a week. The breakfast was more than continental breakfast. The breakfast burrito on Friday morning and the egg sandwich were very hearty and you can easily take it on the go. JC, the breakfast attendant is very attentive, helpful,very personable and social. He shared some of the touristy places to visit. He was prompt in refilling all the stations without having to ask for things. Stations were clean and food were well presented (robust). We've been to a lot of hotel breakfast but this place was , hands down, better than most. Front desk was prompt in any request. I do have to note that house keeping is upon request which is fine and I personally like that...my preference. Ben, the manager was able to reverse the double charge as we went through a 3rd party book. He even personally called us to follow up with the status of our charge. The only criticism I have as with most hotels are thin walls and heavy feet from tenants above. A definite place to stay and if travels finds me back to Billings, this will be home :) read more

Though we are Hilton/Hampton frequent fliers for 15 years, I thought we'd try this place for the one night that we needed to spend in Billings! And I'm so glad that we did!! Never have I ever been a guest of a hotel where a place which was renovated, remodeled or built for the first time 3 1/2 years old ever emanate that it was 3 1/2 days old!!!!! This place is meticulously clean, immaculately designed, and filled with cabinets, shelves, and stainless steel appliances and there's even a huge closet in the bathroom with shelves and storage space for suitcases !!!!! I still cannot believe that this is a Marriott. I thought we'd never revisit a Marriott again. It was the wonderful and cheerful woman who answered the phone who shared that the price for a room was lower than or the same as most of the competition in the area and then they had a salt water pool to boot! We never tried the pool but we did participate in the breakfast and it was delicious and plentiful with a nice variety detail. Would strongly recommend!!!!! read more

What a great place with honest housekeeping staff. I left a really nice sweater in my room and two days later called and they still had it. They mailed it to me and I live in another state! I so appreciate the integrity of keeping a lost and found. The room was large, clean and quiet. We liked that the place was dog friendly which was why we chose it. In the hotel entryway they also had so many options, (like a convenient store) in case I wanted a late night snack or aspirin to buy. As for breakfast, they had real eggs and sausage (like travel was pre-Covid). We'll definitely be back here. Keep up the great work! read more

The way the woman at the front desk treated my family was absolutely horrible. Jackie at the front desk has no business being in customer service. I have stayed at dozens of Marriott hotels and had wonderful experiences. This was not one of them. We stayed here specifically because it is a pet friendly hotel even though our dog is a service animal and we can legally take him to any hotel. A woman with a cat was in the room next to us and the cat was crying on and off all night, but because i understand that traveling is stressful on animals i was not going to complain. When the cat scratched at our door our dog barked and 45 minutes later we got a phone call saying that we were getting charged a $50 pet fee. We had our dog with us when we checked in and the woman was so sweet and even gave our dog a treat. My husband went to speak to Jackie who was so rude that he insisted we check out immediately. I went down to try to speak with her and understand the situation and she was very dismissive and just said i needed to be respectful of other people. I again told her that i was being respectful by not calling and complaining about the woman in room 203's cat. Jackie ended with "well I'm charging you a $50 fee because of this, our website says that i can." Jackie treated this like a punishment and not a policy. I plan on escalating this because i have spent my entire life working in customer service and the way this woman spoke to my husband and i was the most disrespectful, disgusting and and disgraceful that i have ever experienced. I hope Jackie is held accountable in disgracing the Marriotts customer service. read more

The only word that succinctly describes this Marriott property is: Shabby. And NOT shabby chic by any stretch of the imagination. The location is decent and easily accessible off of the I-90 and we enjoy the Internet TV Marriott offers, but the positivity stops there. Let's talk price first: $250-some dollars for a night's stay in Billings, MT or 20,000 points for Marriott members (we used points that were excessive for this property). First my husband and I didn't want to take off our shoes as the carpet was filthy: spots everywhere, dirty looking and just worn. The dresser between the queen beds had drawers that would slide open on their own. If you closed the top one, the second one would open and then the third. We got painters tape from the desk and had to tape them shut to avoid running into the edges in the night. The furniture is just cheap looking and not well-maintained; it looks like it was all purchased at an outlet furniture store and has been banged up in the years since this property opened. We did not use the small, but efficient, kitchen since the room did not make us feel like it would be well-cleaned. The bathroom sink area is so small that we could not fit out toiletry bags on there. But the towels are what really gave me the shudders: They were also shabby, thin and with cotton pulls throughout. Seems like they needed to be replaced a couple of years ago. We passed on the paltry breakfast offerings. And, finally, the front desk staff in the morning during checkout was unpleasant and we were quite thankful to get out of there as quickly as possible. read more

After much protests we accepted the room at a discounted rate because it is Memorial Day Weekend and after traveling over 1000 miles we needed a place to stay. After arriving back at room after dinner received a message they had actually booked us in 2 small rooms if we wanted that but would be at original price!! Umm, no!!! Great, quiet, clean motel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Pool and work out area are nice. Nice fire pit outside. The rooms are pretty spacious-large enough for our family to be comfortable. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE FRONT DESK. I have stayed at Marriott hotels regularly for the last 15 years and had great experiences. The woman when I checked in was very kind when she welcomed us and our dogs! The last day a woman named Jackie was at the front desk and she was the most unpleasant woman I have ever come across at any hotel. I will not be returning to this location because of the way she spoke to my daughter and to me. Hopefully the Marriott thinks twice about who they allow to speak to their customers. read more

New, clean, comfortable, awesome staff. But I must tell you my story. I'm coming from California, need a place to stay, I call this place trying to get a deal. They started asking questions to help me get a discount, and this eventually led to them asking me, "why are you visiting?" I didn't want to say that it was to buy a corvette because then I look ridiculous trying to save 20 bucks. I explained all of this and the assistant hotel manager, Cynthia Viger, laughed and implied I might be broke and in need of a deal. Or maybe I said that. I can't remember. I showed up, the front desk knew exactly who I was. I made some tea and headed to my room feeling like a minor celebrity. I get to my room, and guess what? There's a congratulations letter and a bottle of Montana wine. I thought hotels forgot about hospitality, but it was here in spades. Stay here, no where else. read more

New, modern, clean, and comfortable! This is my preferred hotel in Billings, MT. I used to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street. Although the HGI is fine, this hotel is definitely a step up in newness and room size for a comparable price. The receptionist was very helpful, and the service in general was excellent. The room was brand new, with a small kitchenette equipped with an electric range, microwave, sink, and refrigerator. The bathroom was also brand new, bright, and very clean. I was very satisfied with the accommodations. The hotel has a pretty good sized fitness center for a hotel of this size. Treadmills, cardio machines, a simple bench, and some weights. Nothing fancy, but enough equipment and room to get a good workout in. The salt water pool is a nice touch also! The complimentary breakfast was quite good. In my opinion, much bette than the complimentary breakfasts at Hampton Inns. Hard boiled eggs, sausage, and cheese made for a tasty low carb meal to start the day. If you are visiting Billings for work, I highly recommend this hotel! read more

Nice hotel with a kitchenette included. This place is fairly new, so it's modern. I'm not sure if they have much going on here, as the receptionist didn't give me a rundown of hotel activities. OK, I would not normally give this class of hotel five stars but I must. The staff and the layout of these hotels would rival any hotel. Modern, very clean and very comfortable. The layout fits both the business traveler and the leisure(us) traveler. It is my first time staying here and will recommend to anyone that is traveling the West and wants a quality room. Complimentary breakfast was extremely simple, just enough to get us started for the day. If there was one thing that I would suggest, its to improve with a better selection. Yet, you cant have it all at these prices, so I am ok with a jump start breakfast. The room more than made up for it. You will find a similar review by me on other hotels in the Midwest. It's simply that were were so pleased with these Marriott brand hotels that cannot stop talking about them. Very convenient for the business and leisure traveler. This particular hotel appears not to be close enough to town. I would not worry about it. The modern side of town is near this hotel and downtown is a very short drive. read more

Stayed one night late August 2015. Location is commercial area - plus is that there are a number of resterants nearby to chose from. Nearly new hotel. Interior is nice. Room was nice with one exception - bathroom door was falling off its hinges (had been propped with with a cleaning rag!?). When we left we notified the front desk of the issue. She thanked us, apologized, and stated we would have our room rated reduced to make up for it. So far so good right? Well credit card billing came through - no change to the rate. Amazing. The first impression was great when we were met by a smiling, friendly, professional young lady. She helped us find the best room for us since we did not have a reservation. We stayed in a two bedroom suite for a very very reasonable rate. It was like a miniature apartment, with everything you could need to be comfortable. The room was cool and quiet at night and we slept very well on the fresh linens. The breakfast in the morning was different than usual humdrum boxed pastries and cereal. You had a choice of fresh eggs, sausage toast bagels waffles cereal fresh fruit and amazing pastries. The coffee was fresh and delicious as well. The entire area was maintained to perfection throughout the breakfast time.
