We are mid stay but horrible service for a Marriott Titanium Elite for life member. Per the front desk..."we're staying too long for an upgrade" and "we only get our room refreshed once during out stay and new towels once for a two week stay". The one day we ask for the room to be refreshed and the only day we would have our dogs out of the room all day....nothing, absolutely nothing was done. We didn't call down to the front desk, we went personally to the front desk to request it. We were promised a full room refresh since we are staying here for two weeks and nothing. We were gone 12 hours. We now have no towels, no toilet paper, no blanket. Horrible customer service. Can't wait to get out of this place!!!! I purposefully waited almost a week to ask for new towels to respect your boundaries and was promised this and nothing. read more

Stayed here on 09/11/2024 for business. This would be the first time I've stayed in a room where the bedsheets were not changed. When I peeled back the comforter, the fitted sheet looked like it was not changed. I was taught that fresh sheets have creases in them from being folded. Also, they did not smell fresh. I slept all the way on the edge of the bed, showered in the morning, and told myself I would never stay here again. read more

Not a great experience. I'm not sure how this hotel's rating is as high as it is. They're doing major renovations, so the paint smell is VERY strong. Elevator was broken on our 2nd day. No room service was provided our 1st morning. The front desk gal said it was due to a mix-up. We asked to still have it done, and they said it was too late. The 1st night, our room was really warm. The thermostat only has the options of auto or off. The dial read that the indoor temp was 65, but that was obviously wrong. We couldn't switch rooms bc the hotel was booked up. They offered to find us a fan but never got us one. The pool and hot tub were closed. The sign said it was closed starting May 12th for "roughly 2 weeks." We were there June 1-3. Positives - comfortable bed, stocked amenities, average continental breakfast. read more

The property is quite disappointing for a Marriott property The room and free breakfast were unacceptable The a/c in the room would only run for a matter of minutes. Then we had to get up, change the temp by 1 degree so that it would run for another few minutes The shower floor was Dangerously. It was so slick, that I almost fell through the glass doors. I had to hang on to the safety bar and finish my shower one handed The small cabinet in the closet was inaccessible. You can not open the sliding drawers because they hit the door. Don't know what was in that cabinet Lastly, I went down for my free breakfast and grabbed one the cartons of milk. I took the one up front and did not check the date. I took a small drink and whoa, it was spoiled. I checked the date and it had expired 2 weeks earlier. Clearly the Marriott employee placed the expired mile at the front of the fridge and put the unexpired milk at the rear. Hope I don't start throwing up today on the highway. So, I would not stay at this property. read more

I arrived here around 4 pm on a weekday. They had rooms ready on the bottom floor, but not the top. I decided to wait for a top floor, based off previous experiences. The staff was super sweet and held my bags so I could grab a quick bite to eat while I waited. They called me about 30 mins later letting me know the room was ready; not bad at all. The room was large, super clean and had an amazing Mountain view. Like with all Residence Inns, they have a small kitchen, pull out couch, bed, and bath. I loved it all. The sheets were comfy and soft, and they seemed like a high quality for a Residence. The pool is great and very relaxing. I only wish it was outside! Apparently, while I was there, they opened up the breakfast buffet for the first time since pre-COVID. I know this, because it was mentioned about 20 times! I tried the buffet, but wasn't a fan. None of the food had a lot of flavor and several things (like the potatoes) seemed undercooked. I'll let it slide since it was only day one. The location here is ok. With a car, you can get to Target, restaurants and a liquor store within 4 minutes. However, you are about 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman (where all the good restaurants are). Parking is free, easy and there were plenty of spots around the entire hotel. read more

As a lifetime Marriott Lifetime Platinum member I stay in a lot of hotels. This was disappointing especially considering the price of the room. Our room had the previous guests hair left in the shower stuck to the wall. The toilet was broke and leaked ALL night long and would not flush. I had to use the bathroom in the lobby. Also, there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and the dishes in the cabinet were dirty and smudged! I let the front desk know and they didn't seem surprised or even apologize. All the did was write down our room and check us out. As a loyal Marriott customer I was very surprised and disappointed. read more

From staying at SpringHill suites and Hyatt to now this during our Yellowstone/Jackson trip, this one was definitely our least favorite. The residence inn is located in close proximity to a lot of stores like Costco, target, etc and 10 minutes from the airport (they do have a shuttle that takes you to the airport from this hotel which is convenient). Setup is normal like any other residence inn; however this hotel is pretty dated. Just like what other people mentioned, the hotel has thin walls so you can hear a lot of noise from adjacent rooms. Hopefully you are on the top floor because if not, you can hear people stomping upstairs or you may get complaints of those below you. The pull out couch mattress was really dated and old and had some stains. I was so tired that I just put the sheet over and I never thought about it but in the morning when I saw it again I was surprised that I slept on that.... Breakfast was okay. It is served by hotel staff and you had options that included an omelet, Canadian bacon, cereal, pastry items, and more. Coffee is self serve which was really bad (in terms of the taste). Overall I thought this hotel was okay and it definitely had a number of good and bad things but this is one of the cheaper Marriott options in Bozeman if you're hoping to redeem a free night award which is what we did. read more

I'm extremely impressed. I used to work at a Marriott so I have very high standards when I stay and with customer service. We called hours before we got there and I think Hayley was her name answered the phone and we asked for restaurant recommendations and she told us numerous restaurants and gave us directions and I was impressed before I even arrived. When we got there 3 ladies were at the front and checked us in and was super friendly. The room was overall very nice and clean. The next morning we went down for breakfast and they had a full breakfast- French toast, eggs, sausage and so much more. You tell your order to someone working behind a desk and they go and get you whatever you want. They were extremely nice and had excellent customer service. Everyone employee had a big smile on their face and I was very happy with my stay! read more

Walked in that night to book a room. Slid my debit card for it which resulted in a 300$ hold (all normal). Wake up the next morning there's an additional hold of 301$ totaling 601$. I tell the manager I'm told it will roll of by Friday morning. Friday morning is here and they've taken there 298$ for the room but now there are two additional 300$ holds totaling 600$ this hotel is holding of MY REAL MONEY. The manager said to call if there was problems I do, the person who picks up doesn't put me through to her when asked and explains I need to call my bank to get them to remove holds and marriot can do NOTHING on there end (but charge me needlessly). Call my bank and I'm told they can't remove the holds I have to wait for it to roll off. Room was nice view was nice. Financial aspects were piss poor they are holding 898$ of my money for a 298$ stay and apparently can't help with their mistake. Says it was a mistake to not use a credit card so if ur seeing this just slide a credit card. Avoid this headache read more

First hotel to receive a call from front desk telling us that patrons below are complaining our kid is too noisy. Apparently the walls are real thin here. I can hear people rummaging next door or walking upstairs. I can even feel the room shake when my husband is simply just walking around, and he's 5'6 140lbs. Imagine telling a 3-year old to tiptoe around...Oh well, the room served its purpose with the kitchenette but wouldn't stay here again. By the way, small thing but something nonetheless. Brought in all my hydroflasks to wash but they didn't have a brand new dishwashing sponge like most hotels. I'm not sure it was but I prefer not using someone else's old sponge. Also ice is a commodity here. Make sure to ask for a quart sized ziplock bag of ice given out at the front desk.....so much for gold elite. What's going on Marriott? read more

Goodness. The hotel is nice. We were unhappy that we got there late and we did not have the room we were expecting. We had asked for a two bedroom and we had a one bedroom with one bed and a couch. We needed two beds and a couch. I went back to the front desk and was told they could give me the room with two beds for $194 / more. I am gold elite, I guess this doesn't count for upgrade. It wasn't the room we had requested and I have no idea what happened there. So, we paid, we slept, we got breakfast and we got back on the road again. I recently stayed at this hotel and would not recommend it. The fire alarm went off at 2 am, which can be understandable, but then it went off again. I called the front desk and the employee was in a shear panic and told me she accidently set it off while trying to reset it. I was traveling with two young children and they were absolutely terrified and crying. The hotel did nothing to apologize to the guest afterward. I email the corporate customer service and had to send a total of 3 emails to even get a response (terrible customer service) I then finally got someone name Ramona GP Guest Experience Assistance Team, who gave me 5000 points. A hotel night at this specific location is 35,000. So doing the math they offered me 15% off my nights stay (~$27.00) I replied and told her that I would prefer a full refund and I was told they will NOT do it and she was removing the 5,000 points. I will absolutely make it a point to not stay at this hotel or any other marriot hotel. read more

I love a Residence Inn, especially because of the kitchenettes that each room has. There is a complementary breakfast beginning at 06:30am - that is always a plus, in my book! However the walls are very thin. I could every move that the person above me made. I could also hear everything that was going on outside my door. Very convenient to Bozeman Airport. Target and Costco right across the street. Only a few miles from downtown. Staff were kind and helpful, the place is kept up pretty well. Absolutely awful. Marriott won't pay their employees a liveable wage and it shows. Completely understaffed. Paid $500 for a night and waited an hour for a room 3 hours AFTER check in time. Many people came in and checked in after us and we're given rooms before us, when we checked to see what the situation was, they advised us they forgot to add us to the list... Would give 0 stars if I could. All said the poor people working looked like they were trying their best but could not keep up the the workload Marriott was demanding of them. (Front desk people running around trying to help clean rooms. Ridiculous for the price they are charging. I would expect better from a Motel 6.) In my opinion, Marriott should pay their workers much more and retain the good talent they have left. However, I will never return to a Marriott hotel. read more

Marriott needs to do some TLC work on this location and also work with management and front desk personnel! We were given several different answers by the manager and assistant manager on why the room cost was so different, was not worth what we paid! Tye TV in our room was not working, we asked several times to have them replaced or worked on they just kept switching them around from room to room, we had a two bedroom, two bath suite so they took the one out of the living area and switched it with a bedroom one. They did not have enough breakfast out to serve each day and there had been no cleanup in between on any of the tables. Cleanliness was not at the top of their list. We are Gold Marriott Bon Voy members and I cannot recommend this location. read more

This hotel was a little pricey for the time I was here (June, 2015). But, it was a very nice hotel. The next morning, we drove to Yellowstone and it was a little over an hour's drive from this hotel to the north entrance of Yellowstone in Gardiner (about 75 miles, give or take). This is a big hotel, right off I-90; typical Residence Inn. Good location for stores and a lot of chain restaurants. The area was very pretty. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. Hallways were updated with nice carpeting. My suite was clean, and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was very clean, too. All good. Very friendly check-in guy and good complimentary buffet breakfast. Free wifi and parking. All good. read more

It's been a pleasure staying at this Residence Inn. It's clean, the staff greets you everyday with a smile, and they provide great quality service. They remodeled last Fall (2014), the beds are comfortable with updated TVs, and the fitness center is great for a cardio workout. Try the Atrium with a full grill and fireplace. Hotel itself was very nice, but if you are a federal employee be careful staying here. They refused my tax exempt form since a government issued credit card was not used. My office does not have issued credit cards, and neither does any of the surrounding offices. I usually seek out Marriott properties and specifically the Residence Inn brand. This hotel, in particular, was not up to the level I expect as a loyal customer. The fitness room had no AC (which means no workout when the temps outside are 80-90 degrees). The AC in our room quit working and actually started randomly heating at 5:00 AM. The alarm clock was set to go off at 5:45 AM by the previous guest, there was a band aid stuck to our wall and it was incredibly noisy. Lots of families on vacation at this location which meant our courtyard view room was more like a screaming-children playground view (windows were not very sound proofed). And the relatively thin floors meant I heard the upstairs children 'jumping up and down' (as Mom casually explained) from 7:30AM on. Most of the staff was really friendly, that was nice. read more

I've stayed here twice now and I'm very disappointed overall. They have no liquor license so you can't even get a beer in the evening. I found an old Popsicle stick and an empty water bottle behind the nite stand when I when to plug in my cell phone and then this morning my shower curtain had mildew growing on it. What does this day about management and housekeeping? Given that I'm a platinum elite member and expect better and the fact that I only get half points here, I'll be staying across town next time at the Fairfield Inn. read more

We've stayed here twice so far (last time was for 7 days in August 2011). Both times were good experiences. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, and the "snacks" at the manager's evening receptions were enough to fill us up so we didn't have to eat dinner out every night. The rooms are clean and "homey". Minus one star for them not changing the sheets during our 7-night stay (the sign in the room said they would change every 3 days, but it never happened). Not a big deal, but it would have been nice. We've already got reservations to stay here again next month. LOVE the free in-room wi-fi! read more

I visited this hotel mid-week on business travel. It is a relatively new build or renovation in a convenient location. It has very large rooms with kitchenettes (stocked with dishes). The room was immaculate. The hotel offers free wifi. There is on-site, coin operated laundry, which was a life saver for me. The ability to open windows to get fresh air into the room is also a plus. There was a lot of noise from upstairs, but that is not the hotel's fault. Breakfast is included as well. It's not the greatest, but it is very convenient and there are a lot of options. The staff here is super friendly. I would stay here again when visiting Bozeman. read more

This location can use some attention to detail. There were dirty dishes that were left in the dishwasher from the previous guest that stayed in this room. Housekeeping should be on top of this and checking the dishwasher for dishes left un-washed. The front desk female employee was rude and made a snyde remark when my wife complained about our room being HOT and the AC was off upon entry. Although we were afforded an upgraded room because it was available, it doesn't permit the employee to reply with a comment "you WERE upgraded". Customer service is a priority for merchants and vendors providing services to consumers. It is unfortunate that some (not all) are LACKING in this area. Management should really take a closer look at their employees and evaluate their interaction with guests and their problem solving skills or lack thereof. read more

Below the Residence Inn baseline... Our room had a view of the roof of another building in the courtyard and picked up a lot of noise from other guests enjoying themselves in the outdoor space. I had to have maintenance up twice in one night, once to fix a rattle coming from the AC, and a second time to look at a problem with our TV. Somewhat comically there was a pink children's bandaid stuck prominently to the wall next to the bed, though I would have expected house keeping to have cleaned it prior to our arrival. As we discovered in the morning the bedside alarm had been pre-programmed for 5:30am and 6:00am. Overall I wasn't impressed with this location. read more

The accommodations were fine, it was like a dorm setting with nicer and newer amenities. I liked that have a pseudo happy hour (NO alcohol)food and desert for the guests. I have been here several times and was not please with the new look in the lobby. Way to modern for a Montana hotel. The buffet food was poor and the coffee bad. The refrigerator in my room ran so loud I had to unplug it. Housekeeping did not even empty or clean my coffee mugs. I know they didn't change the sheets.
