This hotel is decent for the price you pay. It does the job of being near the Mayo hotel for a wedding and providing a large space with a kitchen. The kitchen was nice to have with a sink, burner, dishwasher, dishes, and fridge. The hotel has a big tv that was nice to have. I would probably stay here again since it had all the amenities we needed for our trip. The shower could use some improvement since the water was getting on the floor due to the half glass panel design. I also liked that the room had a lot of power outlets for charging our items. read more

LOCATION- eh... some homeless around you-too many for me. Also didn't realize there was a heroin & alcohol rehab facility near by- explains the people walking around there. Walk about 20 min to get something to eat if it's open. LOBBY- was clean BUT an overpowering smell of fragrance! Like if they sprayed it every 3 minutes! Way too much! Bar area- 5pm-10pm- Not open on Sundays. Breakfast-hot typical food- nothing spectacular. When the breakfast was over- so was the coffee 9am- so maybe offering coffee till noon at least. Fruit was just bananas and oranges. So again- decent food. ROOM- Nice size room. BUT THE CARPET IS DISGUSTING!!!! GROSS!! VERY OLD! MATTED! Why don't they change it? Put LVL instead of carpet! Who still puts carpet in hotel rooms-Motel 6?! But seriously change that $hi+ it's super gross!! Restroom floor was not mopped/cleaned either. If it was- the water they used was dirty and dark -like the carpet!. Kitchenette-good but we didn't use it. Also not pertaining to the stay- but why is it -when booking- they do not show the AAA discount online? Rooms are obviously cheaper if you have AAA. The rep at the desk said it is cheaper but I would have to have done it when I booked the room. First of all I wanted to give 5 stars ...but lack of attention to detail... I couldn't go 5 stars. This is because (ladies at front desk 1 training) were both really nice and welcoming and on check in. was assisting with breakfast but yet still checking out customers. The weekend as a whole seemed not to busy for Residence inn Tulsa downtown. In town for a wedding across the street at the Mayo hotel... I called the night before fo confirm the note of feather free pillows as we have a down allergy and travel with EpiPens... They absolutely let me down on the overall experience. I am a platinum elite Marriott rewards member and choose this hotel chain based on positive previous experiences. I have started staying with the Hilton chain most recently....and might go exclusively with them. (Due to numerous mistakes on attention to detail) Down allergies are a real thing...and can get serious quickly. I choose to inspect all pillows as soon as I get in the room - when checking into the room first thing as I can't trust Marriott properties to look on the reservation where it reads down allergy. Feather free room. On arrival to room...you guessed it - 4 of the 4 pillows with duck feathers/down filling. Steamed at this point I took the pillows and placed outside the room. I informed Front desk as we left for our wedding.... The room was clean, breakfast staff was hard to find. Housekeeping staff had smiles on their faces. The hotel was clean and seemed secure from the rif raf walking around downtown. The bar wasn't open when I checked in nor could I grab any beers from the market. Unfortunate. Lost out on some easy business. I was thirsty!! This was an experience I felt needed to be documented to management so I posted to social media. Hopefully they can get the attention to details ironed out. If a place can't accommodate my request..just let me know I can stay elsewhere. There's no restaurant or bar, just an extremely bare sundry with some lean cuisine pasta meals. The room is nice and clean, but I'm starving and just had to eat the plane snack as my dinner... The gym is tiny, and the hairdryer in my room sounded like it was shredding metal, but they gave me a different one, so fingers crossed this one doesn't sound like it's going to explode I guess I just expected more from a Marriott hotel, but I wouldn't stay here again. Worth the extra $20 to stay down the street at a better hotel. Low rating could be because I'm hungry and based on the website, thought I would be able to eat once I got here (also I've never stayed in a Marriott that didn't have a restaurant/bar). read more

Dear Residents Inn Tulsa, Let me start off with I was highly anticipating my stay with you all as I was looking forward to a new hotel and your swimming pool vibes. Upon arrival I was greater swiftly, but let me say that is all that was great about my visit with you all. As we went up to our room as usual I inspect the rooms since Covid the lack of cleanliness in hotels have unfortunately been subpar. I found old popcorn kernels and a old lid to what seemed to be a hair product cap. I didn't want to make a big fuss so I just made sure the bathroom and bedding was fine. For most of our stay we stayed busy. It seems like housekeeping wasn't available as I placed the note on the door to come later and we seemed to always leave by 10 A.M. or earlier. So the whole time we were there we did not get any house keeping service. I noticed the signs stating Covid distancing, but nowhere did they state we needed to ask or it was limited to our stay. Moving to my main concern we had finally had a chance to enjoy the pool Sunday evening. To our surprise we go down around 545 or so and the yellow discoloration to the pool and trash that was floating in the pool was disgusting. A cigarette bud, and paper floating like a square piece of paper, and what I hope was not a condom but a piece of a plastic bag. Over all I should just stick to the hotels in Tulsa that have been great. Trying a new hotel has been a great disappointment . Overall for a Marriott association horrible. read more

This hotel is brand new, and I'm raring it 4 stars because of the quality of the room and the free breakfast. My room was amazing. Huge, clean, and comfortable. Usually single king rooms are tiny, but this one was far from it. The free breakfast was also amazing. They have eggs and sausage instead of just your standard fare or cereal and toast. The hotel also feels really safe because you have to use your key card for everything, even to get on your floor in the elevator. The only downside was that there were no water bottles in the room. There was also no vending machine upstairs. So you have to use their 24/7 downstairs station. The only option for water was $5.15 per bottle! It was crazy. I took off one star for this. read more

I am a Gold Marriott member and this Marriott hotel is one of the worst that I've stayed in. Here are the issues... - HBOGO - supposed to be free but it wasn't working - Reduced maid service because of Covid - Several machines in health center not working, - Swedish balls are flat, - Yoga mats filthy, - No towels- only dirty ones in the fitness center , - Carpet in my room was very dusty and dirty, probably because they reduced room service - Has breakfast but no afternoon food because of Covid , this makes no sense - Parking lot gate broken. - Horrible garbage disposal smell. And, in looking at all the yelp input on this page, the hotel or the company hasn't responded to any of them... This is truly telling in that they don't care at all... I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel ever... read more

Excellent new hotel in downtown Tulsa. The studio rooms was HUGE - one of the biggest room I have ever had. WiFi was fast and there were plenty of AC outlets and USB ports in the room. Shower only - no tub, but spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything was new and clean, including the public areas. The front desk staff was not only efficient but welcoming as well. There is parking close-by out back. The complimentary breakfast was decent, but nothing to rave about (as is typical these days). There were a number of good restaurants within walking distance (although many are closed on Sundays and Mondays). My only negative about the place (and it was slight) was it took 3-5 minutes for the water to get hot in the sink and showers, but once hot was fine (with good pressure). I came quite close to avoiding this "dump". But, my sister had stayed here last month and raved! AND, upon further research I learned it is BRAND NEW. Certainly not a dump...so I booked. Lean in close for the inside scoop...The sweet front desk gal upon my mention of the negative Yelp review by the mysterious M.C., said this guest was perturbed that she was charged $10 to park her car. Despite being reimbursed and coddled, M.C. did not delete the review. AND, I 100% believe desk clerk. Yelp is a 'sacred' forum for honest feedback to inform consumers toward great choices amongst all the unknown options in our towns and cities all over the world. Leaving spiteful feedback hurts the forum, and all of us. This place is awesome. Brand new. +Lobby with bar, area to spread out, citrus spiked water daily +amazing free breakfast spread +edgy decor and sleek sparse vibe (not my style but its CLEAN) +wonderful staff +easy parking +lovely top of the line workout equipment, nice fitness room with TVs and apples, and towels and water +Lovely room with comfy bed, bathroom, sitting area, full kitchen, MANY outlets all over the place and beside the bed. +nice size flat screen TVs +Nice bathroom with curved shower curtain rod (This is crucial!) +Nice sun shades, and blackout curtain over that. - Walls are just a bit thin Stay here...the price is right, the location is amazing, the staff are great, the appointments are not lacking for a thing. ...it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair...such is the RI in Tulsa. A newer hotel, with a nice location, I'd seen it before in my travels to the city, and there were others who noted it had the usual amenities of kitchen and 'fridge, and parking lot, which prompted a stay here. Indeed, the good is that it has all those things - I don't understand the missives that there is not parking lot, since it's right behind the hotel - and the usual accompaniments of a RI are indeed present. Rooms are large, with full kitchens, and they still serve bfast in the AM - the staff wear facial coverings, but sadly, there are many who in their construction clothes or their pj's, wander in maskless despite the signs everywhere noting their requirements. It's the beginning of despair, given the noise from outside is surprisingly loud, and the walls are certainly not robust with the ease of conversations about the BOK center or the episcopal church or the parking (!) being heard easily in adjacent rooms. While ear plugs have been in my staple during travel for decades, they are a necessity at this hotel. That being said, it is clean, the staff are welcoming, and the location is quite convenient to downtown. Like everything else, have to weigh the pros and cons about staying here - I think if it's a family affair, this place could work out well, or if you're in town for a longer duration - that might be appropriate. Just remember to bring those earplugs. read more

We stayed here a few months ago. Really nice hotel overall. We had a 1 bedroom with living room and little cute kitchen area on the first floor. Really modern and I loved that. After asking to be switched from the 1 bedroom on the corner downtown (which you could hear the beeping coming from the traffic light close by) they did accommodate and switch our rooms. This room was also nice, clean, and spacious but you could hear all of the noise coming from the people partying and laughing at the pool. Also, we had trouble sleeping due to the large dogs running and jumping off of furniture in the room above us. We saw them the next morning leaving and we just knew it had to have been those huge dogs. I would recommend you switch families with large dogs to the first floor as to not disturb others below them who are trying to sleep. Also, upon check in @ 9pm, the lady told us that the bar is open until 10pm. I looked over at the empty bar and asked where was the bartender? She said, "Oh, we closed the bar @ 9pm. If no one is in the bar area, then we just close it early." After our 7.5 hour drive into Tulsa, I would have gladly had numerous drinks and tipped the bartender nicely. So, some nice bystanders told us about another bar @ another hotel close by that was really nice. For the price, I think some changes need to be made. Had a confrontation with the lady refilling the breakfast area who was very rude and could care less to answer me. Breakfast is bland and limited. Have to ask the day before to clean room. My room was missed even though I called the day before and housekeeping was not helpful at all. read more

My husband and I stayed here August 2022 for 7 days 6 nights. We had an amazing experience. The front desk staff very accommodating and kind. My hubby is in a wheelchair and they made sure everything was accessible for him. When they didn't know an answer they would find out for us and call us back with an answer. The inn Is very clean. The kitchenette was nicely stocked with all you need to cook for you and your family. All you need to provide are the groceries. Love the off street parking. Housekeeping was very attentive and willing to provide services daily if you desired. We will definitely stay here our next trip to Tulsa. Our only suggestion would be that the breakfast have a few more protein options daily. (Some days they are more protein options than others.) Great stay!!!! Thank you! read more

Worst Management in my 40 years of staying a Marriotts. The front desk Manager Christina charged us for a two room reservation one night because we didn't cancel the reservation 24 hours prior to the stay; however, I coordinated with the Hotel a week prior to our arrival that due to my wife's allergy disability we would have to check the hotel before staying and they agreed to not charge us depending on her reaction. She had a bad reaction due to her disability and we were forced to leave, and as I was leaving was told by the front desk clerk Samantha that no charges would be assessed. We were very surprised to see we had been charged for a regular room and a suite a few days later. I tried contacting the General Manager Richardson by phone who would not answer my calls, and I sent two emails explaining the issue and prior coordination. He responded to my first email, ignored my second email, siding with the front desk manager's decision to charge us. In my short experience dealing with Christina, I appears she does not understand customer service regarding people with disabilities and she has a dominate personality, which is why she decided to make me pay for questioning her about their government rate policy. As a 'Platinum Elite Bonvoy Member for Life' we've never been charged like this regarding my wife's disability and have always found understanding Marriott management, except in this case. We ended up staying nearby at the Tulsa Downtown Courtyard and had a great experience. I absolutely do not recommend giving the Residence Inn Tulsa Downtown your money. I recommend Marriott International replace this Hotel Management as soonest opportunity. read more

Completely negative. Seriously paying $150 a night for this new, nice hotel. It has a bar that closed at 10pm lol. Yet - here we are. Screaming, loud, drunk ass tournament parents. Their kids are already unattended or have someone upstairs watching them. Why not go to a real bar? Or the gastropubs close by. This is stupid & senseless. There is a young woman here working ALONE who has asked them multiple times to calm down, cackle & carryon quietly. Seriously? This is worse than a rowdy high school cafeteria. The kids are upstairs bouncing basketballs off the wall/floor/whatever. The parents/coaches are downstairs enjoying themselves with zero tact. This is behind ridiculous. We drove 4 hours to get here for this. Not one person on the first floor will be sleeping until these assholes drink themselves to sleep. Yet management apparently allows this & thanks they are going to give a crap about one, lone young woman asking them to control themselves? Is this really Tulsa??? But wait- can't forget the 2 other young women who were stressed the moment we walked in. They couldn't check us in or get shit finished because they were interrupted nonstop by having to get up & keep letting the unattended kids in & out. If your kid can't be trusted with a room key- should they really be roaming around? Sadly I can't attach the video of this. Now it's breakfast time :) The juice dispenser is broken. The milk is watered down & grayish looking. Fine for cereal for bad for drinking. They aren't really equipped to serve tournament teams in addition to the regular guests. Waffle mix is clumpy & watery from desperation. Bananas are green & bruised. We were going to toast a bagel but it was too hard to pry apart so probably not great for eating. The staff is annoyed & stressed. There needs to be very clear expectations & limitations for having them deal with large groups. This isn't a job that should be that stressful but they need to know that management has their backs when needed for visitors. Maybe have 2 prep staff on hand when you have a large group that will be eating breakfast together? They're annoyed the hotel wasn't equipped to serve them. Many of the other visitors are annoyed because of the group throwing their not-so-private party all night. Your staff is annoyed because they are all stuck in the middle, just wanting to do their jobs and move on. This entire experience was disappointing. Such a beautiful room with awesome views, too. I'm leaving here with I had gotten the $80 hotel a few blocks away. Saved $70, paid for a nice breakfast, & still had $ left over lol. read more

We are Marriott Titanium Elite members, so we (used to) stay at Marriott hotels a lot. This was the worst experience we've ever had at a Marriott and from here on out we will choose other options. We booked our room through the Marriott Bonvoy app and were given the option for a contactless online check in. We opted to do this because we knew we would be arriving late and thought it would be easiest option. Unfortunately our flight to DFW was delayed and we missed our connection. This set off a domino effect of frustrating events. We were scrambling to book a new flight to try to reach Tulsa in time for the conference we were scheduled to attend. Long story short, we didn't arrive until the next afternoon. We weren't worried about our room because we had checked in online and the app showed our current reservation as active. When we arrived at the hotel we were scrambled to hurry and drop off our bags and head out for the meeting for which we were already very late. The front desk staff was very rude and informed us that not only had they given away our room but they charged us a no show fee. At this point there were no rooms available anywhere nearby. We later contacted Marriott Bonvoy about the fee we were charged. Their notes stated that someone from the hotel told them we had complained about a leak, which was not true because we never were able to even step into our room. They had just lied about the situation to justify charging us a ridiculous fee. So disappointing and it made our already frustrating trip much more difficult. Steer clear of this hotel! read more

Hello. I am writing today with a HUGE dissatisfaction as a long time member of Marriott. My husband and I had a reservation for May 26 in Tulsa Oklahoma. I called the hotel and spoke with Jason on May 20th at 1:38pm and asked to please cancel our reservation as I was ill and couldn't make the trip. He confirmed the reservation was cancelled. Fast forward to a few days and we were slapped with a no show fee. My husband is accruing interest on this charge and nobody is helping us. We called on Saturday and spoke with Tamera who said she spoke with the VP of operations and said there was NO charge on our account. Our credit card statement and the actual credit union is stating the charge is still active. We called today and spoke with the general manager Meri Contreras. She HUNG UP on my husband because he asked her not to speak over him. He had to speak up because she wasn't letting him say anything. She was terrible. She is now dragging our name through the mud which is extremely inaccurate and slander. She said she wasn't dealing with our problem. I have called back to speak with her and she has not picked up or returned my call. This is absolutely outrageous behavior for an associate to treat a long time Marriott customer. Not only are we charged for something that wasn't our fault, but we are getting hung up on and ignored. We are extremely rational people and understand mistakes happen, but this is not getting resolved. I can't believe a general manager (MERI) would treat a customer this way. This doesn't seem like the Marriott way. read more
