Room was clean and very comfortable. The complimentary warm breakfast was a welcome touch.

Made it inconvenient in the morning and evening when people were coming to/from work. The room was dated but has everything you needed. There was a small living room area with a small dining table. The full kitchen was a nice option with the full size fridge. There was two TV's one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The bathroom was spacious as well as the closet. There was plenty of storage place. The bed was not very comfy but it was clean so that was good. The AC/heater was either too cold or too hot and quite loud which made it hard to go to bed comfortably. The hallways had a very aggressive hearing fan that would blow my sign off my door everyday which also got pretty annoying after two weeks. It also was quite loud. The gym was good. It had three treadmills, two ellipticals, one bicycle. I never had any issues getting the equipment I wanted to use. It was well stocked with towels. There is a tv on each machine as well as one in the weight area. The close parking was fairly crowded every night. But there was always parking somewhere just may not be close. The breakfast was different each morning which was a nice change after a long stay there. Some days were better than others. I wish they had paper plates to take food on the go in the morning. I did notice some people thought ahead and brought their own Tupperware so I guess that is an option. Nonetheless it is your standard free hotel breakfast. There is plenty of seating in the dinning area though. They did offer Social hours on Monday through Thursday, which was nice during the cold nights. There was light dinners offered each night. Each night had something different, there was a calendar of events in the room. It ranged from pasta, pizza, salad, soup, sandwiches not the best food but a nice option if you are not inclined to leaving the hotel. There was also soft drinks and desserts offered. The subway station is not far from here about a 8 minute drive. There is no sidewalk to and from so I wouldn't really suggest walking there also it was quite cold and snowing when I was there. There is also a Walmart located near by so that was nice to get some essentials. The hotel also offers to pick up groceries for you as well. I'm not sure of the fee associated with it as I didn't do it. Room service was quick to bring anything that I needed.

The hotel only had us down for one room, not the two we had paid for. The clerk did some checking and resolved the issue quickly, giving us our room keys in a timely manner. Whatever difficulties it might have caused on their end, we were not affected in any way other than a slight delay of only minutes. They handled with professionalism and friendliness. We enjoyed our time in Toronto so much that we decided to stay an extra day. The process to extend our stay was done with ease and at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed a few drinks at the hotel bar, the bartender, (Marion I think?) was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The room and beds were plenty spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a great experience at this location and would recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto.

That was very much appreciated, considering that the last place that I stayed at, the customer service was so poor. The suite rooms are very large, and maybe this is common at other hotels now, but I had never seen before in the shower that instead of having those small shampoo bottles, they had large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall, and you just squirted out as much of each as you wanted. Great idea! Our only criticism of the place was that it could be very noisy there in the lobby (especially during breakfast), and we had some noise on our floor past midnight one of our nights there. We did call to get it resolved, and eventually, it quieted down. My wife's theory on this (and I agree) is that because the rooms are suites, a number of families book it, and they all sleep together in the same room to save money, because they're so large. I'm not sure what can be done about this, but it is something to keep in mind. It wouldn't have deterred us from staying there, but again, it is something to consider.

We booked at this hotel for two nights because the place we wanted was full and the pictures looked good and the hotel had a heated pool with a hot tub. Upon entering the parking lot it looked run down. We got in to check in and the water dispenser was low and not refilled. The places looked old but we were treated by friendly staff. We got to the room and it was much older but it was clean. After a day of travelling we decided to go to the pool to relax. We got in the pool and it was warm which was nice and what we expected but the slide that was advertised was out of order. Then we decided to go to the hot tub and when we got closer it smelled like absolutely pure urine so we went back to the pool. Another couple with their small child came in and got to the hot tub and the kid quickly jumped out and said it stinks so we told them that we thought the same. After about 10 minutes in the pool, we got up, dried ourselves and then went up to the front to let the staff know. The man at the front was very kind and was very upset at the fact that the hot tub was unclean so he went to check it out right away which we absolutely appreciated. We did not go back again that night and decided to just shower and call it a night. At around 10pm or so, the fire alarm went off as we were dozing off so we called and they said it was a false alarm. We went back to sleep and saw the fire fighters come as well. At around midnight or so, the fire alarm went off again. Another false alarm. At around 6:30am it went off yet again for another false alarm. We were so absolutely exhausted. My parents went downstairs to ask what happened and they offered us free breakfast which was kind. The servers were extremely kind but the breakfast was not that great especially if we had to pay for it as normally as advertised it would have been $19. On our second evening, the fire alarm went off again and we were yet again exhausted. We were so excited to leave the hotel as it was the most exhausted we had been for what could have been a relaxing trip. I believe it would have been best to get a refund for atleast one night stay for the inconvenience. I would have given this zero stars if I could but the staff were very nice so I gave it a one star.

Misleading Advertising and Dirty Rooms - Disappointing Hilton Experience…read more We stayed at this hotel for a family trip to Canada's Wonderland and IKEA. We booked two nights--one with Wonderland tickets and one to shop the next day. I called the hotel directly to book, but at no point during multiple calls did anyone mention the waterslide was permanently out of service. This was a key reason I chose this hotel, especially for our kids. The website still shows photos of the pool with a working waterslide, and nothing clearly indicates it's been down for two years. At check-in, staff were confused about our reservation and what it included. We were told to wait for a manager to sort it out. When we finally went to the pool, we found a small sign saying the waterslide was permanently closed. Our kids were very disappointed. I asked the manager why this wasn't made clear on the website and was told it was. We double-checked and could not find any such notice--just images showing it in use. Things got worse from there. Our first room had visible dust and stains on surfaces. We requested cleaning and left for dinner, but the room wasn't cleaned--just two pillows were delivered. When I asked to move, we were given another room with torn bed sheets. The next day, after housekeeping "cleaned," the same torn sheets were put back on the bed. The restaurant, on the other hand, was great. The buffet and à-la-carte breakfast options were fresh, and the service was excellent. I reached out to Hilton Corporate, but the response was disappointing. I received a generic message saying the hotel had followed up--which they hadn't. I replied twice and never heard back. It's unfortunate that this hotel carries the Hilton name. Between the misleading amenities, lack of cleanliness, and poor response to issues, I can't recommend it.

One of the Most Unprofessional and Sketchy Hotel Experiences I've Ever Had…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. When we arrived, the pullout couch was absolutely disgusting. We had to request sheets and pillows just to make our own bed. The walls were so thin we could hear everything, so forget about getting any sleep. But the condition of the room was only part of the problem. The staff behavior was what really pushed this experience into disturbing territory. We were in town for a wedding but received a family emergency call and weren't sure if we'd be returning that night. So we put our luggage in the car just in case. Suddenly I started getting calls from the hotel because the maid had gone into our room and reported that we didn't leave any luggage. I cannot emphasize enough how creepy and invasive that is. Why is a staff member snooping around and keeping tabs on whether guests leave bags behind? It was beyond unprofessional. I explained to the front desk (a woman named Linda) that we might not return that night due to possibly having to head home, and instead of showing understanding, she pressured us to "make a decision" by 6 p.m. It felt like they were trying to double-dip--charge me while re-renting the room. Even after asking if management could approve a refund, I was told they'd look into it, but no one followed up. I had to call again during the wedding photos, and still no action was taken. In the end, I never received a refund or even a partial refund from the manager, who I believe was Kimberly. And yet, I was still asked to leave a positive review. The nerve. I paid for the room. My whereabouts, my luggage, and whether I return or not should not be monitored or questioned. The entire stay felt sketchy, invasive, and stressful--on top of being flat-out uncomfortable. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Between the filthy conditions and the shady, overbearing staff, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away
