I walked in as I needed to kill some time before picking up my dog from his grooming session as I too needed a grooming lol. I didn't have an appointment but the staff welcomed me in. They did have customers with them, and I was more than happy to wait. They had the TV on and was watching a movie which made the time go by fast. Next thing you I was up. Staff is friendly and the person who cut my hair did a great job. I totally forgot his name but he was nice! Just FYI it is cash only. Luckily there was a liquor store down the way that had a ATM. Vibe in the shop was more modern and more towards the younger generation. Would come in again but I would be making an appointment first. read more

We called ahead of time to confirm our walk in & make sure they accept kids, they said they close @6 last call is 5:30 we arrived @5:20 to the door locked but all tvs and lights are on we knocked & called the phone number they let it ring till they finally turned off their machine a couple phone calls after, very unprofessional service & wrong hours. read more

This is a hip and chill barber shop tucked into one of the many strip mall facades along Crenshaw here in Torrance. Step inside though and the music is vibing but cool and you'll be greeted and taken care of by one of the guys immediately. Best to book ahead at least on weekends - they use the Booksy site/app it's easy and free, can choose your specific barber once you've gotten to know one and want to keep going back. Always gotten a great haircut and old school details (straight razor neck cleanup etc) even though these guys are really 20's they treat everyone like a new friend. read more

Pretty cool spot in the heart of Torrance. Recently moved work offices and was looking for something nearby and I came across this place on Yelp. Brian took care of my cut. I wanted something a bit different, I always get mid fades and so decided to do a high fade. I really liked the fact that despite having to wait regardless of my appointment, Brian took his time with ensuring my cut looked fresh. Cool vibes, great cut and great people. The only downfall of the cut was the line up razor. He went a bit too hard and cut both sides of my line up. So letting that heal and do it's thing. Definitely returning though read more

We've been searching for a barber shop locally and I'm teaching my teen, Z, to speak up and tell the barber what he wants. Made an appointment on booksy with Brian. We arrived 5 mins before our appointment time and Brian was ready. Z showed Brian a picture of what he wanted and Brian asked him questions to get more detail on what Z wanted. Once Brian got started, I noticed he was very detail oriented and took his time, which we liked. We had bad experiences at other barbershops and hair salons where they rushed and didn't listen to what we wanted. Z got lots of compliments from family about how good his haircut is and even though we forced Z to get a shorter hairstyle, he was happy with it. We'll be coming back to Resol to see Brian again. I paid $45 for this. I got home and saw what he did and damn near had to cancel Thanksgiving. Worst cut ever. Update: I just read the owner's reply and it's ridiculous. He claims I "tampered with the cut". The extent of my "tampering" was going home and taking a shower. After that, I sponged my hair and uncovered a crater-sized patch where the part should have been. Instead of taking accountability for the sub-par work of one of his barbers, he tries to shift blame to the customer. As he stated, this level of service and treatment is reflective of his brand and of him as a man. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! read more

Amazing Haircut. walked in on a Tuesday. Barber was Brian Valente (insta: vlnttte.thebarber). I've been looking for a new barber since moving to the South Bay and let me tell you I found him. Scissor, clippers, straight razor, and styling. The young man does it all. Pricing was more then fair. He took me in as a walk in but he offers Appointments on Booksy. Great conversation and it didn't stop him from cutting which was a plus. He could hold a conversation and STILL KEEP CUTTING. That only would bring me back to him but the fact that he can cut and cut well will insure I will be back. read more

This is one of those super hip barbershops with the black walls, and the wood floors, blasting hip hop music. The barbers use clippers 95% of the time when they are cutting hair and the end results is always good. The issue with these types of places is that you make an appointment, and you usually have to wait another 35 to 50 minutes before you get your turn, and of course it's pricey. If the wait time was cut down to the appointment time, this place would get another star. But then again, it's par for the course, these types of places don't get to you on time. They take their time with their customers at the price of other customers waiting. Give and take. read more

Here's the thing, he was cool and friendly. So it's not a personality thing. The only reason why I'm giving 2-stars is for the cut itself. I asked for a low fade.... we chatted the entire cut and made for good conversation. But, I was disappointed with the haircut itself. He went wayyyy to high on my fade. Was a high fade which was opposite of what I wanted. Obviously, nothing I could do in the end. So I paid and left. I needed a cut badly as I had to go to court the next day and my normal guy was booked. With all of that said, might be best to book an appointment with one of the other guys? My grandson had a desire to have a particular fade haircut. It took us a little bit to finally get an appointment with Brian. It was worth the effort! Brian was very meticulous and exact when working with my grandson, who is 10. We had not been to Resol before but was referred to this shop by my own hair salon. Brian took his time and did not rush the appointment. He was very conscientious with the fade cut and sectioning all of my grandson's full head of hair.
