In the past this cidery was a group favorite! Great service, comfy setting, and fun ciders were expected. However, our wine group visited in October and we felt as though we were a bother and serving us a chore. On top of crappy service the tastings were TWENTY DOLLARS. TWENTY DOLLARS!!! That's bonkers, especially since it seemed like the quality went downhill. I'll gladly skip this and opt for a *Royal* (IYKYK) experience any day. read more

Another excellent cider stop when up north. We stopped in with our pup and found a table outside to enjoy the 20+ ciders they had on tap that day. This sister to Mackinaw Trail winery is a good stop if you are in the Petoskey area. They have a wide variety of wines and ciders. When I learned this was a sister winery I was a bit concerned at first that we were going to waste our time since we had already been to Mackinaw Trail. I was relieved to learn they have their own unique line of wines. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed talking with the host. We generally liked the cider better than the wines. The tasting room isn't large but it was comfortable. read more

The ambiance was definitely less than impressive. We drove up to a small looking shop with a couple farm animals outside. The inside only has a couple tables and one bartender serving flights for $14 for 5 pours. We tried 5 different ciders and all tasted similar; very sweet and a bit artificial. The cherry flavor in particular was very bad and the apple cinnamon and apple cranberry were our favorites. I recommend sitting outside and grabbing some board games to play. Overall, not a bad experience, but was a bit underwhelming. read more

After a long day of exploring we wanted to try some local beverages and stumbled upon this spot right before they closed. It is quaint and small but on a good day has a lot of outdoor areas to sit and sip. The gal serving us was alone and the place was hopping, but she was pleasant bed cheerful and had some great insights into the local area and the various ciders. A flight of six was $14 but you got really ample pours so it felt totally worth the price. My husband and I split the flight as one of us had to drive and it was plenty. We especially liked the sweeter apply raspberry cider but everything we tried was tart and light. They had over 18 options and all sounded appeasing and worth a try. In the end we purchased an apple raspberry and given that I'm not fond of canned ciders she was willing to pour us some into a glass jar to purchase. We greatly appreciated her service and the atmosphere, and will plan to head back there again. They had a few wine options but if you are looking for hard cider this is the place to go! read more

Stopped here on my solo whirlwind winery tour. quaint, small farm feel. There were 2 guys outside cutting down a dead tree with a chainsaw and taking apart the goat pen. Not exactly the relaxing time I was hoping for. Megan, the bartender, apologized and said they should be done soon. I ordered a flight of 5 ciders and sat outside. The pours are pretty healthy so I was there for a while. The guys finished up and I did enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful weather. My favorite out of my choices was the Pineapple Habanero and ordered a howler to go. Those that are complaing about the price obviously haven't been to the other wineries in the area. i enjoyed it and will be back. read more

Came here based on a local's recommendation and was utterly underwhelmed. The inside seemed sad and dated. There were a handful of tables and a small bar inside. The menu was written up on a chalkboard and there were a few old board games for the guests to enjoy. There was one server and the offering was a cider flight (5 tastings) for $14. We sampled a variety of flavors and did not particularly care for any of them. The flavors were artificial and quite pungent. Overall, not an exciting venue or selection. read more

An old barn with an extension on it for tasting room leads to a very comfortable atmosphere. 5 large pours for $10. The ciders were truly excellent. They have a large variety from drys to sweets. I enjoyed all 5, which I thought impressive in it own. The server also had me try a blueberry one I had skipped because I'm not a fan of blueberries. I'm glad she did because it became my favorite, I bought 2 bottles plus 1 of another. The service was well knowledged and super friendly. Overall a massive 5 stars! Lastly visit the cowdoggoats outside. They are actually small goats. Very cute. read more

This place is great. The ciders are varied and delicious. I like the semi-sweet ones and had a hard time deciding on a favorite. We bought a 4 pack of bottles and 2 cans of another cider, in addition to the flights we had there. We are from OH, and intentionally stopped here again. read more

The one thing (for me anyway) that made this place great was the gal that served us. I sure wish I could remember her name. At any rate, this place had only one wine that I could try. I don't do carbonation, and everything was either carbonated or was too dry for me. Upon the recommendation of the gal that served us I was able to try one of the wines that wasn't super "sparkling". It was good, but since it was carbonated I didn't buy any to take home with me. My tasting buddies (hubby, son and his friend) really enjoyed themselves too, and they all found several ciders they liked. We sat inside, spaced well away from other patrons (our adventure took place during the Covid pandemic). There was also a place to sit outside, and there were a number of folks doing just that. My son thought it was a little chilly that day so we took advantage of their inside seating. Even though there wasn't much for me to try, I would totally go back with my tasting buddies if they wanted to repeat the experience. I would just hope we get the same pourer. read more

Stopped here as part of the Harvest Stomp, wish they would have sampled a cider instead of a wine like their other store (Mackinaw Trail). Overall this is a nice place, staff was attentive and friendly. Will go back someday to try the ciders. read more

Did a wine twisting there today... did a tasting and wine was awesome, loved it and we ended up buying 3 bottles. So why 3 Stars??? A holiday weekend they we packed but only had one person working... ok we gave him a break for being slow as he was doing the best he could... well that was until he gave us attitude and rolled his eyes at us when he was cutting our tasting short by accident... but also did the same to several other customers as well (those people left not buying anything) Very rude... one customer bought like 6 bottles of wine and he handed them a box and made them pack it up themselves... WOW. Overall, great wine, but horrible customer service!!! They need to understand that customers expect to have an good experience with a tasting event. read more

This was a very unique place and I loved it. It's a very cool "casual" environment with board games and a really comfortable ambiance. Our group milled around the bar while we enjoyed a flight of their ciders, sparkling wines, and still wines. I have never had a better cider than the Lavender-- delicious. Bonus: there's a dog here.
