I've had a lot of massages in my lifetime and I've never left feeling miserable and with bruising. These pictures are from 1 massage session. After I was home for a few days and still had a tender, sore back; I called Respa. Sent them pictures and they said they were sorry and that I'm a very good customer. She offered no compensation. Honestly, after that bad week of dealing with my back hurting; I called back and told her I thought I needed some compensation. Seriously? You hurt your customers and sorry should be enough. They are semi private and the beds are separated by curtains. Just in case you're a noob to foot spas, this had to be made clear. Moving on.... My masseuse was the best! Her name is Diana and I couldn't have been any happier with the amount of pressure she applied and how gentle she was. Her reflexology was on point. The place is clean and everyone was super friendly. They accommodated our party of four without a problem. We all did the 50 min body and foot massage with hot stones and essential oil. Wow! A great massage for the price! I was looking for an affordable place to get a deep tissue massage. I was blown away! Emma did my massage. She really loosen up my tight muscles in my shoulders and back. She was amazing! She occasionally checked in to make sure I was comfortable. I felt so much better after the massage. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and flexible. I had to change my appointment time and he helped me with the time adjustment. I've been here a few times with my gfs, and all of the massages were excellent! We liked them so much that we got the 5 60-minute full body massage voucher deal for $300. They also have other packages and can do couple's massages. Tips accepted in cash or credit card. I scheduled a massage for my husband after his back started hurting, and he said that it felt great :) I have a favorite masseuse for my postpartum back and shoulders, but they've all been wonderful and friendly. I've been here about 3 times. This is not a fancy massage place. It has beds and curtains but mostly open. They do give out bottled water. I like their massage but as a first timer you do need to clarify the type of massage you're getting so you can pick what you want. I love hot stone massages. I come here often, the price is right, it did go up a little, the place is never over booked so it's nice and quiet. They take last min appointments. Dress comfy, if possible. I like to go in biker shorts & tank so it's easy for them to massage. These type of locations oppose to heavenly massage or "real spa" setting massage places, you leave clothing here on for your massage. read more

Not bad. We went because we had a deal from Groupon, which was about $22 per person for an hour. That's very cheap compared to other places I've been to. When we arrived we showed them the Groupon deal. They asked if we wanted oil or no oil, so it would be a dry massage without it. We said oil was fine. When they finished and presented us with the bill they charged us $10 each for the oil they used. I felt very deceived by this. They never told us it would be $10 each, basically then bringing it to $32 per person per hour. When you add that up, it's more expensive than the other places we go... which do not have hidden charges for using oil....the oil is free. Not sure what kind of oil they are using, but I doubt it's worth the $10 charge, and I'm sure I didn't use a whole bottle of it. When I feel cheated or deceived, typically I never go back. That's why I'm giving 1 star. Sad really, because the massage wasn't bad. read more

I can't believe how affordable these massages are. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and got the 60 minute massage I was the first person there when they opened that day. It's a cute lil shop. It's very open. I assume the massage areas in front of the shop are for quick services. The massage was great ! The ambiance was on and off. If you tell them that you are a new customer and want the Groupon price they will give you a 60 Minute Combo for $30. I have to say the deep tissue massage they give is better than I have received from any other massage place that charges twice as much. Lisa is very strong and gives the best massages. She knows how work every muscle. Anna is also very good. They literally massage you from your finger to your toes. Great place for couples to go. Great massage! You don't have to undress but your feet are soaked in hot water while your upper body is worked on. It's not your luxury spa, but for the price and convenience, it's worth it, and gets the job done. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere except (and this was why I gave it four stars) - the music was playing from pandora and every 15 mins there was a commercial... I really think they should have an uninterrupted playlist. - the woman doing my massage had to leave a few times in the beginning to tend to incoming clients, but very briefly... - the tables are separated by curtains... again not a luxury spa, but that made for an interesting experience when someone is done and says thank you in full voice, or just when it's super quiet and you get in the zone another person releases gas... I have gone to Respa several times over the years. I hadn't been there for (too) long and I desperately needed a good, deep tissue massage. As always, the service was fantastic; the massage therapist is so kind and such a professional at what she does. You can tell they are all well trained in their profession. The prices are very reasonable as well. The only thing some people might not like is there aren't separate rooms. There are curtained off areas instead. It doesn't bother me at all except for sometimes over-hearing people come in (me being one of those people so I'll have to try to remember to be more quiet and not assume I'm the only client there!) Would highly recommend Respa (and already have to friends and family) to anyone who wants a very good, therapeutic massage and great service! read more

I was recently in Schaumburg on a business trip. After standing all day for presentations my feet were exhausted. So when I stumbled upon this foot spa I couldn't resist going inside. At first I was hesitant because I didn't know what to expect, but the owners are very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. And the massage was heavenly! It was the right amount of pressure and the woman knew exactly what trigger points to massage in my feet. And after an hour foot massage I was totally invigorated! The shop is darling and the massage chairs are luxurious! I even purchased some bath salts that I cannot wait to try. It was definitely a great massage and a great find. Such a friendly place to go to! Made a 4pm appt for a couple massage two hours prior to going and we were started on right away! It was $45 a person. The lady I had was very friendly and making sure the pressure was just right. I never once had to say less or more. It was perfect! Everytime I leave this place, I'm totally relaxed, and rejuvenated. After a week of 16-18 hour days on my feet, I'm completely exhausted..Rarely I make it through a 1 hour or 90 minute session awake. I purchased a 60-minute Foot Massage from Groupon, looking for a deal. I made an appointment and showed up 10 minutes early. I showed the voucher to the lady and she said Neck/Shoulders/Back. What? This says a 60 minute Foot Massage? She said Neck/Shoulders/Back again. OK, I say. She leads me to a chair/bed in the corner and pulls a curtain for privacy. Another lady brings a tub of warm water, puts my feet in, tells me to lay back and she covers my eyes. I have no choice but start relaxing. I was there at least 10 minutes or so, when a young lady takes my feet out of the water, dries them, wraps a towel around them and put my feet on a stool. Then she starts to massage - my Face, Head, Shoulders and Arms. Then starts on the Feet. Finally!!! She gave me a decent Reflexology massage on my feet, working on the important areas/pressure points. The foot massage included the lower leg too. And I needed the lower leg to be loosened up. Then, when I thought it was all over, she instructed me to roll over and she massaged my back/shoulders/neck, over my clothes (fortunately I was wearing a light cotton tee shirt). It was well worth the money. I tipped her well, because she did a good job. I will go back. Definitely. I think her name was Hula. read more

This was my first foot massage experience and it exceeded all expectations. ReSpa sets the atmosphere to unwind with relaxing music and incredibly comfortable massage chairs. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My amazing hour massage began by having my feet soaked in warm water (I added Himalayan salt for an extra $5.00) while she massaged my head, neck, arms, fingers, and calves. I thought this was heavenly, then she began the incredible foot massage. Having suffered with arthritis in my ankle and plantar fasciitis problems for years, I had become accustomed to constant foot pain. By applying the correct amount of pressure to different sections of my feet, she relieved the pain. My happy feet will be returning to this shop. read more
