You should definitely avoid this place. I booked a one-hour "deep tissue" massage yesterday, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I've had many deep tissue massages before, but I wouldn't even call what I received a massage. I seriously doubted whether the male masseur had any idea what he was doing. His so-called "deep tissue" technique had nothing to do with proper practice--he simply used his entire body weight to push down on my back with excessive force. At one point, I was genuinely worried that he might break my ribcage. It was clear that he had little to no knowledge of human anatomy, and I highly suspect that he has never received proper training. To make matters worse, I ended up injuring my back. The next day, I experienced severe pain in my upper back, and if it doesn't improve in the coming days, I may need to get an X-ray. I really hope nothing is cracked. As if the terrible massage wasn't bad enough, the service was incredibly rude. When I went to pay, I intended to leave a 15% tip, but the masseur insisted on 20%! He even punched 20% into a calculator and showed it to me in a demanding and frustrated manner. When I asked, "You want 20%?" he barely responded (I'm not sure if he even understood English). Not wanting to argue over a small amount, I just gave him what he wanted--but I have never seen anyone demand a bigger tip like that. I have no idea why this place has such high ratings on Yelp. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. Not only could you end up injured, but you'll also experience some of the rudest customer service ever. read more

The only reason I took one star away is because the lady at the front desk was kinda rude. She was getting irritated because I asked few questions and then first time in my life she asked me to pay before the treatment, even though the couple who came out paid after their treatment but no some particular reason she asked me to pay first then the little whispering with the staff was kinda uncomfortable. And once I was about ti leav I asked for change to give tip and for some reason the lady was just unhappy. Very comfortable, relaxing and clean. They are courteous and professional. For the price, the massages are amazing, I recommend the 90 minute. The masseuse checks to make sure the pressure is not too much or too little. I like that and have not had that elsewhere. Safety protocols are in place and I am never concerned as they disinfect and wipe down the massage tables/beds. Masks are worn at all times by the employees. The owner is so kind and professional. I went in to use a Groupon my husband bought me for Christmas. They didn't try to up sell me on my service and I was pleasantly surprised by this. I've been to some that are so pushy. The lady was very nice. She asked if I wanted soft, medium, or hard pressure. I've never been asked this before either. It made my massage perfect and so enjoyable. I'll get straight to the point:. This place is really good, so I highly recommend going. Now for my long drawn out story: They just opened a week ago, so I think they are still getting used to their own place. As the name says, it is an Oriental / Asian massage. When we walked in, there were only 2 massage people, but they have about 8 massage tables. Not sure if they on have the 2 people since they just opened but they most likely are planning to hire more. The lady seemed to be the owner or manger and spoke decent English. I never spoke with the guy, so I don't know if he is an owner or if he speaks English at all. There's a lot of competition in the "Massage" industry, especially in the last couple years with the Asian massage places. The problem with most of them is that they don't speak good English. So when they are massaging they don't understand what you are saying. She was very good and did understand. Lastly, they have new massage tables that I've never seen before. The table seems longer and I wasn't sure if or where they were going to soak your feet. This new table has a removable section at the bottom where the foot soak section is at. And the two ladies that were massaging myself and my friend would not stop talking to each other the entire time. There was only one other person there getting a massage. I think there was about 10 beds in there. The storefront is pretty small and in a strip mall, which is fine. There was only a small wall that didn't go all the way to the ceiling separating the front desk area and the massage area, so the massage area wasn't too dark and you could hear everything. The beds you laid down on were very comfy And wider than other places like this I've been to. They even let me control what height I wanted the back at with a little remote - most of the places I've been to do not offer this at all. The blanket they used to cover me actually covered me - other places it was a small towel that was draped across my chest pretty much, lol. I am a plus size gal, so that was nice. The woman who gave me a massage could have been more forceful But it was a very relaxing massage. She massage my head, my face and jaw (I've never had this massaged during one of these massages), Then my arms, legs, feet. After the foot soak, she used a hot stones on me which were amazing! Then I flipped over and she did my back, butt and legs. The actual massage was great, the reason I took a star off was some unprofessionalism that went on. Like I said earlier, only one other person was getting a massage when I got there. When she was done, she checked the time and the man massaging her shorted her 10 minutes. She quickly clocked that and laid back down and finished the last ten minutes. When this happened, her masseuse and the woman massaging me had a couple words back-and-forth in their native language. They were laughing a little bit. Not sure what was said, but it definitely seemed as if they were making fun of her. I really don't like that kind of behavior. I didn't feel it directed towards me, but still that is not how you treat a paying customer. Besides that, my experience was great. For the price I would definitely consider coming back here. This was difficult because this is not something I usually do. I happened to be next door at GNC when I first saw "60 minutes for $28." After falling I was able to get an immediate appointment. My experience was with two people, Tia and Ethan. Tia welcomed me warmly with a big smile and she brought me to the massage table. She was very kind to help me with my coat and shoes and then made sure I was comfortable on the table. She introduced Ethan and let me know that I could give Ethan feed back regarding pressure during the massage and he would accommodate accordingly. Ethan was fantastic!!!! The pressure was perfect and I felt truly pampered. The $28 60 min foot massage was so much more than a foot rub. Ethan started on my face then moved to my scalp, neck, and shoulders. After a heavenly foot massage he moved to my legs and then ended with a fantastic back massage. I left there feeling so taken care of, so much so that I am going to go back tomorrow and do it all again!! And for those that are uncomfortable with the massage places that have you get undressed this place doesn't do that. You remain clothed during the entire process. The only nudity is your feet. There is plenty of parking in the front which makes it so easy. I came here one time from a long day of driving. I really love these under $30 massage spots! First they soak your feet in warm water while you lay down. I really enjoy their massage bed set-ups. They are one of the most comfortable I have tried out of all the under $30 massages I go to. There are different levels of pressure to choose from. I always choose the hardest level. It really assists in diffusing from all the unnecessary stress that occurs throughout the day. They then proceed to massage the hands, arms, neck, feet and back. I felt so relaxed and brand new by the end. If only there was another location near where I lived in Lakeview. Made my first visit here last night and it was amazing! My friend and I decided last minute in a Friday night that we wanted massages, and this place was able to get us in right away. The staff were all very friendly. There are several massage options and we did a combo table and foot. Everything is reasonably priced. The massage itself was killer. I love this place! It opened not too long ago so it's still easy to get a walk- in appointment. For $28 I can get a 30 minute foot and a 30 minute head, neck, shoulders, back massage. In truth it's more like a full body massage. Before I went the first time I was having severe feet pain everyday. After the first massage, I did not have any foot pain for 6 days straight.
