My wife and I have been coming here for years. We love the owners who greatly appreciate regulars. The therapist we use is Su-Su and honestly she gives the best massage we have ever had. She has amazing ability to read your body and focus on problem areas. Su-Su can vary her pressure based on your problem area and she has the strongest hands I have ever had on my body. If you are in need of pain relief she will not only massage but she uses stretching as well to alleviate pain and tightness. They use oil for the massage and it feels amazing when they're directly massaging the body without the interference of your clothes. Oh and they got EVERY knot out of my body. This is the kind of spa where they are going to work out your tight muscles- which I find beneficial, but not necessarily relaxing as it can be painful. However, I appreciated all of the hard work of the staff and enjoyed my experience. This spa is different than any I've been to before, I was actually in a room with my sister and we had our massages at the same time which was a little unusual but fine, the only challenging part was that the employees talked to one another a bit- but it seemed to be more planning related. My first Chinese Foot Spa experience was in Beijing, so I feel I have a solid standard to compare with. Appointments are easy to make 60 or 90 minutes) and they have an array of options. Most technicians speak limited English, but desk host understands English quite well. If you have unique needs or preferences (avoid certain areas, more/less pressure, etc.) make your request known before entering the spa area. PLEASE, people, this is intended to be a relaxing experience. SILENCE your phones, and for God's sake, WHISPER!! These are not individual rooms, and your voice and noise travels. EVERYONE has a right to an excellent environment and it is not the Staff's place to police your behavior. If you want to not concern yourself with your noise level, book an appointment down the street where you can get a massage treatment in an individual room. Soothing music plays throughout spa. Wear comfortable, flexible clothing. Most people remove socks, shoes, shirts, bra, and hair accessories. Leave shorts, joggers, or Capri pants on folded up to knees (for foot soak and massage). You will always be discreetly covered, and treatment rooms are separated by curtains. Typical treatments begin with a simple foot soak, while technician begins work on head, face, shoulders, and arms/hands while face up. Then they work on feet, ankles, calves. At times they will massage through towels or blankets. Again, if pressure needs to be adjusted, let your technician know. Please be certain to tip your technician at the end. They work HARD, and provide great service! We always tip 20% or more, just as you would at a restaurant. The location has ample parking, is clean, and offers water and a delicious Chinese candy afterward if you'd like. This is a family business and has been here many years. Let's keep them going! My only wishes are that they had more than one bathroom (they can't change this), and that EVERYONE would minimize their noise level! I did the 60 minute massage for $35. You can tip on the credit card, but they do make you pay first... so if you want to tip based on the experience you will want to bring cash to tip after the massage. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is why I choose this over another foot spa. It's dark and peaceful music plays. It's also private whether you are in your own room or they slide a curtain so other guests can't see you. This is a clothed massage but I recommend shorts or pants that are easy to pull up over your knees. Men can take their shirts off. For women I recommend skipping the bra and wearing a looser tank top that the straps can be easily pulled off the shoulders. My masseuse was Jenny and I do recommend her. read more

First off, for $29, yes, I'd definitely come back again if I lived closer and wanted to get a massage. One of the cheapest massage places I've heard of in the U.S. On that note, there's a lot of things to take note on if you are a particular person or like to be prepared for what you're paying for. 1. If you think you are getting a better deal by buying it on Groupon, you are not. It seems like that's just how they advertise their business (which is pretty smart in my opinion). But I'm pretty sure you can just pay the $29 when you arrive. 2. The $29 massage is a clothed massage. You can pay more get the next level massage which they told us would be unclothed and they'd use oils to massage you. However, they still used oils on the bare parts of your body in the $29 massage. 3. The rooms are not private. There was about 5 beds in the room, and they were separated by curtains. However, the curtains don't nearly span the width of the room, so the curtain only makes it semi private. And the workers and customers can walk along the side of the room to go in and out and see everyone along their way. I'm not too certain if the upgraded massages are always in this room too, but it seemed like we could just choose which massage we wanted after they showed us the bed. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with the unclothed massage if it was in that room. 4. That said, the couples massage is just the same thing, but they draw the curtain away in between you. Kinda funny, and it doesn't cost more anyway. However, if you wanted to talk during the massage, you would disturb everyone else in the room. So...we just kept silent the whole time. 5. They soak your feet in hot water the whole time. Was different, but kind of nice. 6. Both my husband and I complained to each other after how they used an extremely rough towel to dry our feet/legs after they took our feet out of the water. I don't think it was an intentional scrub, so I hope they get softer towels next time. 7. If you care about if you will get a man or woman masseuse, indicate that when you call to reserve a time. They didn't ask us that, so we forgot and just ended up with whatever they had available at the time. read more

I appreciate that I was able to decide to go to Yu based on other's reviews so here is mine... I was warmly greeted when arriving. There was a mix-up of my appointment (100% my fault) but they were very accommodating and got us in. The place is neat and clean. However, the rooms are dark, which is perfect for the massage but tough on the eyes when dressing/undressing. My husband and I did a couple's massage. I had a man and he had a woman. The man came in and started before the woman (would have preferred they began at the same time). He did an AMAZING job; rough where it was needed and gentle where it was needed. My husband was pleased with the woman but thought she spent a little too much time "walking/crawling" on his back. We know to be more verbal about what we like and dislike next time. The price cannot be beat. I say next time because we will definitely go back and will suggest to friends. It was a great experience overall. read more

I took a friend here for a dual treatment and had an interesting experience. My masseuse didn't seem too experienced. A couple of times he massaged my spine which I don't think they're supposed to do. He kept popping something out of place and finally stopped. Thank God I didn't need to see my chiropractor afterwards. I was worried! The massage wasn't very well planned out considering it was an hour long. I'd compare it to if I gave my husband a massage - I don't know what I'm doing and just want to be done with it. My gal pal didn't like her masseuse either. After reading a couple dozen good reviews about Yu's Spa, my husband and I went for the first time today. He had a kink in his neck, and I was just in need of some relaxation after the wedding weekend. So for $28, you basically get a nearly full body massage that they call a foot massage. We were taken to a nice semi-private couples room that rivals most spa places that charge double to triple the cost. However, the massage itself has issues. First, the techs don't speak English. The female tech spoke a tiny bit, so as I was explaining to the male tech that I wanted light pressure for 5 minutes, the girl finally understood and explained it to the guy. Then as I laid down, I found the angle of the position when they put your foot into the hot water odd. I'm laying down half way, then my feet dangle in the water. And the water is just water...no aromatics, no green tea extracts, no rose petals, nothing. Then the guy massaged my face...yeah, my nose, my forehead, my cheeks...wtf? I would prefer they left my face alone and rubbed my temples or my head. Then he massaged my ears. Why??? Don't know. If they spent the 20 minutes on my temples, back of my head and neck, that would have been great. But instead, I got 5 minutes on my face, another 5 minutes on my ears, and then just 10 minutes on the areas that actually mattered. Then he proceeded with my arms. For the most part, this was fine. It started off very relaxing, like a normal Swedish or shiatsu massage. But then at the end he starts HITTING you. And then pulling out your arms as if he's trying to disconnect your joints. It went from very relaxing to annoying. Then my legs. Same thing. Starts off very relaxing. Then he starts HITTING you again. I told him "NO" this time, and he stopped. He skipped the hitting on the other leg. (Thank you!) But then he picks up your legs and DROPS them on the massage table...on purpose! TWICE! Why??? I don't know why no one mentioned the hitting and the dropping. If I wanted to be hit and dropped, I certainly would not need to pay someone to do it! He then asked me to turn over so he can get my back. Due to a medical condition, I cannot do this, so he repeated the leg regimen. I forgot to tell him no dropping this time, but he remembered the no hitting. My husband who got the back massage part started off relaxed, but then ended up getting punched in the back! Apparently the people who give this place glowing reviews must have never gotten real massages before because you don't get hit, punched, and dropped as part of a massage! No blunt force! I don't think we'll be back, even for $28 because the techs don't understand English and it's hard to communicate to them no hitting, punching, and dropping. It's unfortunate because the price was spectacular. read more

They opened up the end of February, so still pretty new. But - - this place was definitely well kept. One of the nicest looking "Foot Massage Spa's" of this type that I've been too -- wonderful, comfortable decor. The therapist definitely spent an equal time giving enough attention to my back, in addition to my feet. (Which was nice on this visit, since my lower back was a bit sore.) But if you're in the area - - you can't beat Yu's! And only $28.00 for an hour. Go! (Oh and by the way, I called and they were able to get me in immediately around 4:30pm on a Monday..) I went here for a 60 min massage today and was impressed. My masseuse found every knot in my back and worked on them until they disappeared. I had a lot of lower back pain when I went in and after a few hours post massage, it's all starting to go away. They were able to get me in the same day which is rare these days and very much appreciated given that my back hurt today, not in January which is what the first spa I called offered. The facility is very well maintain, clean, and beautiful. However, the male therapist is below average. He is very nice, but he does not know how to massage.
