Cons - as soon as I checked into my room, there were pee drops on the toilet seat, so I had to clean my own toilet. The second day, the cleaning person left me their cleaning pad on the bathroom counter. Considering the fact that they gave me the same room as before, this bathroom has got to be cursed. I also heard A LOT of noises this time around - neighbor's snores and other nightly activities (if you catch my drift), and what feels like someone hanging out in their car, blasting music for a while in the parking lot. Granted, I was on the 3rd floor and it felt like it was a few rooms down. Shower is still slippery as heck, so be mindful of this. Pros - clean bed, minimal carpeting (so less chance of bed bugs), still convenient location, etc.

The breakfast was one of the best that we had had at a hotel. It was kept fresh and filled with the appropriate amount of food for guests. They had 2 24 hour coffee machines that made the coffee by the cup so it was always fresh. They also had a filtered water bottle filling station. If we are in the area this is a definite place to return to. All of the staff was friendly as well.

Extremely clean, great pool, two hot tubs, lots of water features, completely shaded RV spot that was large enough for our 5th wheel and tow vehicle, two laundry rooms, and a fabulous club house. In addition, on site is Semper Fi, a terrific bar and grill that is made for socializing with the other campers. We were greeted at Semper Fi by Kevin McCarty, the son of Dow McCarty, the man who created Twin Fountains after traveling across the country when he was in his 70's, and included everything he liked about the RV parks where he stayed. Dow was in the bar when we arrived, and he was sharp and funny and reason enough to visit this place. Janelle was an incredible bartender. Kevin was also a constant presence, and brought us popcorn, and even let us into the camp store which was closed at the time. We had met AJ, who owns ASimpleFlavor.com. She has incredible canned goods for sale in the store, and because we were leaving the next morning, Kevin offered to open the store so that we could buy some of her creations. This place was so friendly, clean and had everything an RVer wants in a RV park. We are definitely coming back.

There is a gas station right by this hotel that would make entrance easier if they had built an opening. You have to go all the way around by service road. Guest services was friendly. Entering our room was a descent ambiance. Turned off by splattered food marks (I guess) on walls by trash can and another area of the wall had something on it as well. Too tired to mention this and ask for another room. Simple wipe down would have taken care of this. Fixtures in areas throughout not mesh with the wall (gaps). Sink is not in bathroom area but near front entry of hotel, so that is different but tolerable. Comfort of beds were alright. Our pillows seemed to be fit for our 4 year old or kid size but again tolerable. Not sure if pool area was unbalanced w/chlorine but we had a reaction and ended up getting out earlier than anticipated. The food we did not eat for breakfast was just pushed back neatly and left on the desk area where we had left it vs. being thrown out from maid services.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the included breakfast, but we went down at 7:45 and the only hot food items we saw were about a cup of scrambled eggs that looked like they were from yesterday and an inch or so of congealed gravy in the deep oatmeal/gravy pot. There was some cereal and a few bread/bagel options. We went out for breakfast instead. There was a kid with a plate of slightly fresher-looking eggs when we got back.

Oklahoma City (OKC) is doing amazing things to attract tourists, and the OKC Streetcar is one of…read morethose amazing things. Providing clean, safe, easy to use, and inexpensive transportation that hits the highlights of the city is essential if you want tourists to see all that OKC offers. On a recent visit to OKC, I picked up a flyer that had a detailed map of the two streetcar lines. It also had a QR code that took me to a website where I could downloaded the OKC Streetcar app. The app is a great way to buy a ticket on your phone. However you can also buy one at the kiosks found at each platform stop. Tickets are $1 per ride, but you can also buy a $3 day pass or longer passes (monthly) if needed. There was no need to scan my ticket before mounting the streetcar. I simply had to press the "use ticket" button on the app on my phone. The main loop took me all over the city. It operates seven days a week and goes from early in the morning until late at night. The Bricktown loop only operates on the weekends. It's a shorter loop that hits the tourist center with the riverfront. Fortunately, the main loop that operates daily does the Bricktown loop too, so you can still get around and see it all. I was able to ride the streetcar from the botanical gardens to another area of town where I could get lunch. I also used it to see the OKC Museum of Art and to return to my hotel in an area of the city called Bricktown. I actually rode the streetcar the entire loop just to see the different areas of town. The streetcars come frequently, but you always have a nice sheltered bench to sit and wait. During the weekday, there were only two other people onboard with me. It was nice and cool inside. I appreciated being able to escape the sun and heat of the day and get off my feet for a short time. The streetcars are pristine inside and out. The route stops were clearly indicated on maps inside the streetcar as well as at the platform waiting area. Each streetcar announces the upcoming stop on a speaker and flashes it across an LCD panel near the driver. The driver is in a separate room at the front, but he was nice enough to answer my question before we continued on our way. Oklahoma City is a hidden gem in the heartland of America. It took two years for my husband to convince me it was worth the short drive north to visit the city. Improvements like investing in the new OKC streetcar are one of the many reasons I would recommend visiting OKC.

Appears to be well maintained. Most residents appear to be long term. Accessible greenway for walks. Nearby mini BX open to 1800 and Domino's pizza open till midnight. We used the Dominos due to OKC rolling up the sidewalks at 2100. If you don't mind hearing jet engine runs in the AM - I'm impervious to them - this is a great place to stay. The only drawbacks are no reservations, a first among FamCamps. Also cash or check only.
