DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!. Daniel took a $125 deposit with no contract, did not return calls when moving date approached.. He was contacted by email, text and voicemail with no response. He then calls to say he was out of town etc....He said he would return my deposit. I waited. I contacted him again. He said he would return it. Never did. and never did. He's been reported to police department. Very poor customer service, business model and practice. read more

Buyer beware. I have used them multiple times and referred them to clients. They recently moved a tenant out of one of our rentals, damaged a wall, and hit the door frame so hard it became loose. They did not notify me but the tenant was right there when it happened and let me know. They have been claiming they will fix the damage for 1 month and have gone MIA and I have tenants moving in tomorrow. read more

His "company" was hired by Penske to do a load swap after our moving truck was damaged. I ended up hiring him to load some more stuff at our house later the same day. Assumed everything was well until we got to our new state. Several broken items!! Then I get a text from him that he had the key to my antique gun cabinet. I asked him to mail it to me which he said he would do the next day. That was back on August 2! It's now November. Numerous texts and broken promises, still no key! I finally filed a Police report with APD for theft. Still waiting on my key. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

Daniel and Heather did a remarkably good job moving us from a condo in Asheville to our house in Hickory. They were so good, we fired the big-name mover who was going to bring the contents of our house (which was in a huge storage unit in Asheville) to Hickory. REST EASY MOVING was much more amenable to doing the move in three trips (I have MS and cannot move easily or fast). They have been so helpful to me and my husband. If I could give Daniel and "his people" a -5 I would. We scheduled our move with him a week prior to the move. Everything was "great" and "no problems" until the day they were supposed to show up.. We called and texted continuously and his phone was off. We had other family and friends calling and nothing. They never showed. So here we are, on what's supposed to be our third day in this moving process (10 hours away) having to do everything on our own, with three small children. Communication was excellent early in the day (lots of "we got you"). We were expecting the team at 2:00. He texted me at 1:30 and said that it would be 3-3:30. At 3:15, he called and said that it would be closer to 4:00. At 4:00, he texted me and said that it would be another 15-20 minutes. Then, nothing. At 4:45 I called and there was no answer. At 4:45, I texted and requested an update. No response. At 4:50, I texted again and asked whether he was coming at all. No response. I called again, and no answer. I ordered a large piece of machinery last week and was surprised to get a call from the freight company that my machine was at my house. It weighs 600 pounds. The freight company left it in my driveway. It was raining like crazy and I needed to get it inside. Moving here from NY and needed a mover to get my belongings into my house. Found Daniels ad and sent him a txt. He responded quickly and his rate was the best around. Before he came for that job, I purchased a sofa that he drove to pick up and bring to me... over an hour total and he delivered on time and without any issues. Same with my move in.
