The crowd was moderately loud and singing along with the musician playing the guitar. His music was current and he was good. The couple of staff that assisted us were great. They were French speakers but were fluent in English. My accent amused them. I ordered a McKeown Cidre Pomme. Very nice and smooth. Didn't have that sharp tang that many ciders have. Going local I ordered the Poutine. Fries were covered in brown gravy with cheese curds. Amazing flavor. Don't know why we don't have this in Texas. We also ordered the charcuterie platter. Large amount of food for the price. Multiple selection of meats and cheeses. Great flavors and I highly recommend it especially for table sharing. Fantastic pub experience. Definitely on my 'Keepers List'.

The ambiance, the staff, the vibe... still the way I like it :) I've been to restaurants that work "slowly" and have not always enjoyed it. In this case, I never have an issue. I feel so comfortable there that a meal/ reservation that lasts 90 to 120 minutes is not an issue at all. C$79.33 I can't say we have ever been to an Indian restaurant where you have to order and pay for the rice at all. The complimentary cracker, papadum is quite salty on its own. I am not loving the onion salsa or the yogurt chia dip so much. Their complimentary items are not for me. 1 order of Naan is literally 1 piece of naan for the two of us. Best to assume everything is a la carte. The basmati rice is flavored and topped with crispy onions and peas. It's ok. I do feel for the 3 dishes we ordered, at least one rice should have come with it as an accompaniment. The garlic naan is good, chewy and warm. The lentil soup isn't so good, it's quite runny, as water and doesn't have much flavor to me. The Tardka Dahl is good. The Chana masala is good as well. The chicken tikka masala is the best part of the meal. Rich and super flavorful profile, sauce is fantastic with the bread or the rice. Huge chunks of chicken and not a lot in the dish. I could easily have eaten this on my own. Service was good.
