I'm reaching out because over the past 4 weeks, I've noticed a consistent decline in the quality of these tortillas. They are coming out hard and stiff, not soft and flexible like they used to be. When heated, they no longer have the same texture, which directly affects the quality of the tacos we serve to our customers. Restaurant depot is great. You have to have any bussiness. Or be part of a business. I buy any things there. Especially there .85 chicken quarters. Four months ago it was .55. :(. But, a real complaint is I had $150+ credit. But, they cannot find it. I will bring the receipt to show them. Three hour shot for there mistake. Do not take credit her. Use it asap. I tried to use it at their sister company but they said credit is non transferable. My suggestion is shop there but their office systems are terrible, so be careful. I will give them four stars because their office cannot be trusted. But, the store service is always great, selection is great, prices are good. Yes, I will continue to shop there. Dirty store, impersonal staff. And to top it off. You have cashier check your number of items(in my case 3) a supervisor takes 2-3 minutes to come verify those 1,2,3 items. Then you walk 20 feet to exit door and another halfwit charmer stops you to verify those 1,2,3 items. Not sure what was possible to loot between the register and the exit door.. but total overkill! read more

When you are aware of a hazard, and you do nothing to correct it, you're responsible, in my opinion. They know that theft and crime is a problem in this area because it's posted all over the place. I was loading my items and I turn around and I see this lady, maybe about 60 years old, chasing after someone in the parking lot. She fell and was crying inconsolably for about 10 minutes. Apparently someone stole her handbag as she was loading her items in her car. Who knows how much she had in her purse, probably a lot. Get security! Protect your customers! read more

This review is only for Anaheim location. I have a great experience with HB. To make it short these are the negative points for Anaheim. While most of the employees are nice there are a few including the meat department manager who only is willing to help female costumers. The shelf's are always lacking storing the items in the freezer. Always , out if stock. Opposite in HB, everything is well stock. I go all the time to HB location. read more

The store knows they have a problem with car break-ins, because there are warning signs all over the parking lot and yet I did not see one security guard patrolling the parking lot! As a result, we were the victim of a smash and grab while shopping here! The scumbag broke the rear window and stole all of our electronic devices! Management took NO responsibility for the theft. In fact they caught the whole thing on videotape, and they would not let us view the videotape "without a subpoena". Makes me wonder if it's an "inside job". People who want to stop theft are more pro active than just putting up warning signs. Just make sure you bring a security guard with you if you want to go in and shop just to be safe... read more

I am quite surprised on how lowly rated this place is. It is not a fancy, nor well lit, nor easily navigate place. But I am able to find everything that I need with good customer service. Maybe it's a first timer luck here. Came here for some puff pastry and seafood, and just a bit of everything, containers plastic knife etc. It has everything that a simple restaurant needs. And in price comparison, honestly it's about the same as Costco. So between Costco and here, I would probably visit Costco more often. However, they have better selection on live seafood, like clams, mussels, and even live Maine lobster. And also a bigger selection in meats and just ingredients for cooking. After all this is specialized / cater to restaurant needs. So to be fair, I also compare it to ingardia which they both carry very similar items on canned goods and basic produce. But I found the price in restaurant depot a bit better. Maybe that's factor in from the delivery that ingardia offered. So it's still a pretty good place to shop at for home cook or for restaurants supplies. What surprises me was the customer service was actually very good. I have many staff asking if I needed help when I browse through all the isles. And when I asked them for specific things, they quickly Wally talky out to get me my answer and even move out the item for me. I had to visit twice today because i bought the wrong size container. They refunded me without any issue. ( A credit place on account and applied for check out after, so not sure if I didn't need to buy anything that would be an issue or not). So unlike alot of the reviews I read. It was definitely enough and friendly staff with attentive customer service. The only thing is if you need to buy alcohol here, you must have your abc license with you, which is a bit of a pain when the wine prices aren't particularly very "wholesale", but more of a convenient stop for getting cooking wine. read more

I went restaurant depot yesterday and spent $1009.24 for my business. But cashier charged me $10009.24. Yes. They made mistake. But since now, all they say was they waited for corporate office answer. I got corporate office number but no one answer, and I finally got corporate office manager number and contacted him. Right after he pick up phone and said he has to go meeting and I asked him how long will take and he said " I don't know it is not my meeting" even I tried to explain my situation. This is stealing. Whoever was working on Isle 2 on April 1st, 2024 at 1PM needs a serious attitude check, as well as the supervisor that was called over. After receiving our beer & wine license we hadn't purchased alcohol yet from restaurant depot before, but after it having expired (and us having renewed it recently) + an update on our menu selection had us wondering how well bottled beer would sell. At this time I had no idea that we would need to register an alcohol sale pin number on the online account, and upon asking for a pin (which I didn't know even existed at the time) the lady at the register proceeded to yell and be extremely cranky about me not knowing the pin. Even after the supervisor came over, no one even asked if I knew I needed a pin or how I would get one, and not once did she stop yelling or shooting nasty glares towards me. It wasn't until I went to the front desk to inquire about it myself that the lady working it explained the process very coherently and nicely. People like her should be the ones supervising and not whoever was on shift during this time. I usually have a great experience when the other male supervisor is working, and he's always answered my questions without any issues, today was the first time I came when he wasn't working and it was just absolutely terrible. I understand that while working in customer service everyone has their bad days, but to berate a customer for a policy that wasn't even explained properly and refusing to look for a way help said customer understand how to be prepared for next time is an attitude of unprofessionalism that really doesn't paint a good image for this location. read more

The service here is great! They have so much selection to choose from. I was able to come inside due to Covid and they allow public to shop here but you need a business in order to shop normally. Prices are amazing and everything is in bulk. Better than Costco even but it's gear toward business so in my case, I buy to share with my family. Fresh seafood and meat! I can't complain. read more

You won't find a lot of brand names here, so the home cook is kind of flying blind. They do have a big selection of meats, fresh fish, cheeses, deli meats, & produce by the case. They have a very good selection of breads & rolls - the best I've seen at any warehouse club. We got a huge loaf of marble rye that was so good. Torta and hamburger rolls looked great too. They opened to the public during the covid-19 pandemic. I was able to get some much needed supplies. They also provided gloves to all patrons and were very diligent about wiping down all carts. I and my friend had amazingly bad experience from Anaheim branch. We are holding valid California Alcohol license. However, when check out I could see 'out of state' message all the time. Some of guys figures out this situation before but not today. The lady who looked like assistant manager, she tried to check up my account and confirmed it's valid license. However, she did not know how to figure out. I asked her to try to fix this issue, but she just denied then contact to Manager. Manager is not also professional guy.
