First timer! Considering the Rona pandemic.. people were pretty chill! Which is just what makes needed when the whole worlds anxious. Huge carts, huge portions, huge line (moved along just slow enough for me to pick up a few last min impulse buys), huge smile on my face from the random lady picking on her mister for leaving his cart in the middle of an intersectionMasks Gloves considerable distancing .. cashiers I'll be back!

I do miss the old Cross Street Market before the complete renovation in 2018, which seemed to cater to the average local, however, the current, more modern market certainly is a gem in Federal Hill despite the more expensive food prices. I like the selection of cuisines featured. The diversity covers bar food, dinner food, quick bites, and dessert. And of course there are plenty vendors serving crab dishes. Some of the great vendors have come and gone, like the pretzel dog vendor which for a long time was the only reason I would visit Cross Street Market. I appreciate the seating made available in the areas near each food vendor. The space is utilized efficiently, from the storage of food in the freezers near the dining tables, to the small stages where artists perform. The market is a great pre-game destination and option to watch the game if you skip the stadium altogether. Keep in mind, on NFL game day this place gets packed, so arrive early. There is ample street parking in the vicinity, however, on game days finding parking in this neighborhood is a nightmare. Overall, a must visit when in the area.

An overwhelming smell of old oil in deep fryers …read more This place has changed from an indoor produce market to a food court. Lots of lunch choices, most of them unhealthy due to the use of vegetable oil, greasy dressings or questionable freshness ingredients. Perhaps because I came in midweek and was quite empty. Need to try the weekends

Unfortunately, I wasn't in the area to shop or make a journal; but, now that I know this space exists, I will be going back to make my own journal. I love the quotes. My two favorites -- as shown in the pics -- "Let that sh!t go!" and "Because I said so!" After I take the journal making workshop, I'll be back to update!

I must admit that she sent me the details via email, but I received them after I had already left for my appointment and only saw them later that day. Despite this, she graciously offered me the chance to return and have another experience with her. I intend to take her up on this offer when my schedule becomes more manageable. Original Post - I discovered this business on Instagram and was excited to support a Black woman-owned business during Women's History Month, but the experience was disappointing. After I took a wrong turn in Savage Mill, the owner interrupted me and reprimanded a young employee in front of me for my confusion, which made the atmosphere immediately uncomfortable. What should have been a fun creative experience ended up feeling rushed, and unfortunately that Mama had the drama -- it really brought my whole spirit down. The book cost me $10 booking fee plus my book with letters and a crystal $49.82 total $59.82 and I elected to finish my book at home.
