Aldi is one of 4 grocery stores I frequent and when I Googled Aldi, I found one very close to the Lowe's. It was pretty slow at the time I arrived (fairly early morning) which was perfect. This particular Aldi was familiar as they all are. I was quickly able to navigate the [fairly] clean aisles to find the items I needed. The ciabatta buns I bought this day were the freshest ones I've had from Aldi. I did self checkout. I didn't interact with a soul my visit, but I'm ok with that.

I forgot that you needed a quarter to get a cart, but no big deal, I can hold the couple of items I may grab. I also took in a reusable bag to carry my stuff out. I grabbed a few snacks that looked okay. The produce was awful and moldy. The meat was grey and questionable. I decided to leave and at the check out, the cashier loaded my items into a cart he had. I pulled the cart aside to the side table so I could load my items into my bag and the person behind me didn't have to wait. The cashier yelled at me to bring the cart back and that it wasn't my quarter. I told him I will bring it back to him. This place is laughable. Take your quarter.

During a recent work trip at a familiar place, I knew I was going to need some rations. The food…read morebeing included at this place doesn't always mean that it is the best food to be had. With that, I always make a trip nearby to grab some drinks and snacks for the room. I'm not the biggest Food Lion fan, but in this area, there wasn't really that many choices close by. Not knowing what the sale was for the week I just wondered around the store and grabbed items. To keep myself from overdoing it I just allowed myself to only carry what I could. I almost forgot that I had the rewards card for this chain, but it was a good thing that I did. It saved me a few dollars on certain items. I will give it to them, the store was well stocked and easy to navigate. I opted for self checkout here. No difficulty here. Paid and made my way outside.

I was charged certain prices and then recharged a totally insane amount of difference. I will be calling corporate tomorrow morning as this issue should not fall back on me ! I'l not happy with this at all and the manager of the store while I was there was aggravated that I had so many orders coming through. First off has no idea how many parties I have going on or why I needed to do so many different orders and to speak so poorly of a long time customer outrages me . I tried to show him my original prices I was charged and he proceeded to tell me good luck getting my money back after they charge me full price. The young lady who filled my orders was lovely and understanding she also took pictures of my original price I was being charged I'm hopeful corporate will refund all the over charges if not I will take it to my bank and never shop with them again

I used to go to Costco all the time with my mom. She'd let us use her membership and would pay for…read morewhatever we needed. It was great. And then she started to hold it against us, even though she would always say, "get whatever you want." So when Costco came out proclaiming that they were going to keep their DEI practices in place, Jeremy and I got our own membership. DEI represents groups that are historically underrepresented or marginalized, including those based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, national origin, and veteran status. So, to me, any corporation who wants to be against looking out for any of those people can suck it. We usually shop at the Costco on Pulaski Highway in Baltimore County, but we were trying to fill some time before an appointment and decided to tuck in here to get a super cool Lego Japanese maple tree set for a friend for xmas. I like that if I find a product at one Costco it's probably going to be available at all Costcos. And while we weren't there for groceries, I also like buying my meats at Costco. We can make those big packages stretch for months sometimes and there's something comforting about knowing you have something for dinner for a while and don't have to give a lot of thought to it. I do recommend breaking down your meat into appropriate serving sizes before you freeze them. You can get one of those vacuum sealers to keep things from getting freezer burn, but a plastic zip bag will do in a pinch. One of the bad things about Costco is that they don't accept all forms of payment. They'll accept food stamps (they sell milk) but some credit cards won't be accepted. Also, because there's a membership fee (I think its like $50-60), Costco isn't an option for everybody, and I don't really like that kind of elitist nonsense. I feel like the people who can't afford the membership would be the type of people who would benefit the most from buying in bulk to save money. I like Costco. I wish I could share the experience with everyone, not just the middle class...

It was a July, Wednesday, around noon, but the long lines made it feel like a weekend, especially to leave the store. There were long lines everywhere - customer service, pharmacy, check out, and like I already said, exiting. Long lines are not my reason for the review though. It's the lack of organization that got me. So weird seeing some boxes of peaches in the snack aisle, bakery items on an end cap for socks and underwear. Worst was the women's clothes. Women get 5 rows for their clothes while the men get 10. If you're lucky, you will find another 2 rows of women's clothes at the far end on the other side of the department, up one aisle, at the end of the men's area. If you're REALLY lucky, someone will tell you (or perhaps you will have noticed) there's another row at the front where you walk in (behind the men's row, which is why I missed it). So, men: 10 rows of clothes all together + one row upfront facing the front door; Women: 5 rows of clothes together + 2 rows on the far end of the department in a different aisle + one row upfront behind men's clothes. And even within the rows of women's clothes, it was disorganized - pajamas were on the outside row of the women's area and then in another section four rows away. Shorts were mixed in with jackets and long pants on every single row. Very strange. I think management of this store needs help to organize better and reduce the lines.

Some of them are not grown by Vince. There is also no one around that knows about the farms, the IPM used, or anything relevant to the growth and origin of the product. We had them do some landscaping last spring replacing all of our shrubbery. I contacted them in April and they said they would come out once the spring shrubs came into the nursery. I had to follow up with them repeatedly and they began to be no-responsive to my calls and texts, and hoping I would go away. Realizing I wasn't going away, they showed up unannounced at 6:30 one morning and rapidly replacing th 4 shrubs that had died. I went outside to say good morning and was pretty much ignored. They clearly were unhappy to have to return. We had a poor experience with them and do not recommend them.
