Overall: A // 5 stars…read more Cozy restaurant with a kitchenside bar, focusing on farm to table small plates centered around clever usage of vegetables to make stunning dishes. I found the cuisine to be vibrant and healthful, with bright and energizing flavors that were well executed overall. The staff are knowledgable about the menu and dish conception, and generally pleasant and friendly to converse with. (Jacqual: B) - Simply presented drink that features hibiscus and citrus with zero proof beer, which I found fascinating. The beer notes are in the background prevailed by the sourness of the other components, where I wish there was a little more added sweetness. (Fried Maitake: A) - Perfectly seasoned dish with tender and high surface area mushrooms coated in an impressly crisp batter given the moisture usually found in mushrooms. The seasoning could not be better with the salt and spice combo; the chive and parsley mayo also add an herbaceous depth of flavor. (Heirloom Tomatoes: A) - Pefectly plated tomatoes with a surprising sunflower seed forward profile given the subtleness of the ingredient; the dish is well balanced and brings out the harmonious flavors of the garden, although I think the bites with flake salt had that even more perfect note. (Hanger Steak: A+) - Beautifully perfected cut of beef with Asian inspiration; the steak is juicily pink with a charred exterior; the carrot ginger puree has a lovely mild and lingering spice, with some additional spice coming from the shishito and the pickled jalapeno. Beautiful dish. (Peach Sorbet: C) - Flavorally pleasant dessert with peach three ways and a nut crumble to add crunch; the sorbet was very hard though and could have benefitted from spirits in the churning process. J'ai commencé avec les champignons Maitake frit et la mayo herbacée c'est excellent j'aime bien la texture et le goût. I ordered: - the XL potatoes: a large serving of roasted potatoes with aioli and salty cheese. Carb heaven! - the pastek salad: cubes of watermelon with shaved raw brussel sprouts, almonds, and some sort of crumbled sheep cheese. Great concept but I would prefer if the brussel sprouts were roasted - raw brusssels are meh especially in off season - rhubarb meringue: stewed rhubarb with airy rhubarb foam and crispy sumac meringue shards. Super light for summer, and the sumac was an interesting twist! I did not have any wine at the wine bar (wasn't feeling it) so I can't speak to that aspect haha. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - limited street parking nearby, but walkable

That seems to be a main attraction to patrons, although the food should not be ignored. We went there for brunch on a Saturday, which is typically very difficult to maneuver without reservations. But thanks to the pouring rain, we got seated right away. The menu is well designed, and many attractive dishes were presented. We selected the burrata, crostini, XL potato, and an extra bread. The food came fairly fast in beautiful plates, and was pretty good! The tender tomatoes were well selected, and mixed perfectly with the creamy burrata on the generously toasted (but not tough!) bread. The addition of peaches was a very nice burst of flavour. The potatoes were full of umami and quite complex in their richness. The crostini was perhaps a bit less interesting, but still good. The hot peppers were pretty sharp! Overall, the dainty portions were a bit smaller than expected, although it is justified for that section of the menu. The service was courteous. Really pretty place!

Saw the add of Facebook and decided to go try it out as there are not a lot of good options in the South Shore. Very extensive wine list with pricing from low $60s to $$$ so you can choose according to your budget. The menu is also pretty light but with a good selection. We were 2 people and went with an entree of scallop and Crudo. Main we shared the lobster cavatellis. Oh boy the food came to the table and fabulous presentation. The taste was also amazing...especially the crudo dish...that sauce was to die for. The lobster cavatellis was also amazing...the pasta was still a bit al dente just as it should be and the sauce was so yummy...we almost licked the plate clean! Desserts were also pretty good. I preferred the strawberry one over the panacota. Did I also mention the decor was modern and classy? It's definitely a place you can bring a date or customers for business lunch or dinner. The crowd was a bit older which is normal because the ambiance is more quiet and pricing is higher than a normal bar. Would a 100% go back there very soon to try more of their wine and food.

Unfortunately, while the food here was excellent, the service experience didn't quite match the glowing reviews I had read beforehand. To start with the positives: the food was genuinely amazing. The dish my friend and I ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and enjoyable from start to finish. The kitchen was also impressively fast, which I really appreciated. That said, the service felt overwhelming rather than welcoming. From the moment we arrived for our reservation, the host who escorted us to our table seemed uninterested and not very engaging. It wasn't rude, but it didn't feel particularly warm or inviting either. Another issue was the menu being entirely online through a QR code. The menu had many pages, and before we even had enough time to properly look through everything, multiple servers approached us several times asking if we were ready to order. What made it more confusing was that we didn't seem to have one dedicated server; different staff members kept coming to the table throughout the night. Even after we ordered and received our food quickly, servers continued checking on us very frequently; honestly, every few minutes. While I understand they were trying to provide attentive service, it became distracting and made it difficult to relax, enjoy the meal, and have a conversation with my friend. After being asked repeatedly if everything was okay, it started to feel less attentive and more rushed, almost as if we were being encouraged to finish up quickly. The restaurant itself was also quite dark, to the point where it was difficult at times to locate the bathroom or even find the exit comfortably. Overall, I truly loved the food and would compliment the kitchen without hesitation. However, the dining experience itself felt rushed and overly monitored, which took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable evening.
