A cute restaurant with a lot of potential. The place is covered in wood and that makes it feel warm…read moreand welcoming. Outside, there is a large patio and bar for summer nights. Inside there are booths for more intimate dining, although large parties are also able to be accommodated.
The Boursin chaud appetizer was the highlight of my meal, and the drinks menu is adequate for a variety of meal choices.
The meal went down quickly after the appetizers, sadly. Water service was slow and then non-existent, empty glasses were not removed, and when the food arrived, it was cooked poorly. Duck dishes were dry and oversalted, the flatbread had raw dough in the center, and the pasta dish was poorly dressed. When dessert arrived, it was tiny, tasted bad, and was not a nice end to the 3 hour meal.
So, while there is potential, the staff needs to have adequate numbers to handle the diners for the restaurant to get more stars. But don't give up, try it yourself when it's not a holiday, and come prepared to relax over a long meal with friends and family.
