We had the cream cheese wontons, garlic broccoli, veggie lo mein, and rice--and every dish was delicious. The garlic broccoli was especially well done, and the lo mein had great flavor and texture. The hot mustard deserves a special mention--it's actually spicy and so good, which is hard to find. Overall, a fantastic meal with classic dishes done really well. I didn't dine in here, I placed a pickup order but the process was quick and easy. The place was clean, and the ambiance was quiet. While I was waiting, there was one large family dining in, and everything seemed calm and comfortable. For food, I ordered the special fried rice, orange chicken, and fried cream cheese wontons. The rice was the highlight, flavorful and satisfying. I'd definitely order it again, and it actually tasted even better the next day. The orange chicken and wontons, however, weren't my favorite, so I probably wouldn't reorder those. I'm so disappointed in the meal I ordered it was not at all what I expected and just tasteless overall. One bite and I was sad... because I'm not a picky eater. Our server wasn't helpful and didn't offer a replacement meal and was rude about it. She turned up to be the manager, I was surprised by how she handled the situation. The other server apologized and said if she could change it for me she would but her manager said no. Ambiance is nice though. I wasn't going to write a review and instead first called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. Between a bunch of "I'm sorry" he told me I should've come in and ordered. Always do take out / delivery They make the best pork fried rice and I love to add extra bean sprouts. They are always fresh and the rice is flavorful. The Mongolian beef is tender and rich flavor, usually has more vegetables. The carrots are cut in shaved pieces which I love. Always fresh and cooked to al dente. I'm not sure if it was the end of that batch or what, but both dishes tasted as if they had been sitting all day. The chicken in both entrees were soggy and the sauce was just not so tasty. It tasted almost like a paste and didn't taste like a general tso chicken or sweet and sour flavor. This was just bad on so many levels. Welp, I thought I'd try this place even with the contradicting reviews before mine. Allow me to paint the picture from my experience so you can form your own opinion. I LOVE Chinese food! This was not that. My order : 2 egg rolls : literally spit it out (soggy) 1 : wonton soup (which I haven't had it yet and I'm hesitant) Fried dumplings : not crispy at all (seemed old) Honey chicken : worst of it (super soggy, seemed undercooked and mushy) Chicken fried rice : tastes as if I threw an egg in a pan w rice and threw in some vegetables. (No flavor at all) To top it off, when the order arrived there was no white rice w the garlic chicken entree. When I called to ask the person mentioned you have to ask for the rice although the menu states these dishes come with it. Can't tell you how disappointed I am right now. Especially bc I had that major Chinese food craving - you know what I'm talking about. This did not deliver and cost me about $50. I'm still hungry, $50 less rich and throwing away the rest. Just horrible! Worse Chinese Food and a waste of $40.00. Food: $35.97 plus $4.00 tip (UBER) I dined at the restaurant 9 months ago and it wasn't really good but I wanted to give them another opportunity and decided to try their delivery service and what a bad decision. At the very least, make my food edible and somewhat enjoyable, but this was not the case: 1/5 PINT of Hot and Sour Soup ($6.00) This soup had almost nothing in it; overcooked shrimp and bbq pork, some tofu and some black fungus. $6.00 for a pint of soup? Besides a soup that had almost nothing in it (see photo) this was a rip off. Most places will have the soup already done and when it's ordered, they'll assemble it by putting in the container or bowl, shrimp, bbq pork and other items. The shrimp and pork in my soup tasted like it had been in the soup the whole entire time due to the hard and over cooked taste. Just horrible. 1/5 QUART Yeung Chow Fried Rice ($12.00) quart was another rip off. The worst part is there was absolutely no taste to it! The soy sauce packets were necessary to save this rice, and even so, the rice was hard. BBQ pork also tasted old and hard. 1/5 Mongolian Beef ($15.00) was the worse dish of the 3. So salty it was inedible. I tried to mix this dish on top of the fried rice since the rice had no flavor but it was so so salty, I had to throw it in the trash. Funny thing is that the texture of the beef was done right, but whoever cooked it, added salt instead of sugar and killed this dish. Also other reviews state the same exact thing of this dish being over salty. Interesting that the owners didn't bother to change the recipe. I'm sure this place wasn't busy so how in world do you mess up the easiest food to make? I was hoping to have experienced something different since I could order from them at least once a week or more but this place has nothing saving it and surprised they have such a high rating. I will never order from here again, and now I need to fight with Uber to get a refund on the food, a waste of my time and my dinner last night. Whoever's in the kitchen clearly knows nothing about cooking Chinese food; they weren't really good before, but now they are just one of the worse I've ever had. read more

So i'm giving it three stars but it wasn't bad. It was just, not as good as I was hoping for? The Mongolian tofu was too sweet and too salty and too something. Sweet-and-sour tofu was oh my God just covered in some kind of sugary syrup. And the chow mein just tasted... Like salty syrup? And With vegetables undercooked. The flavor wasn't bad it just wasn't great. The only thing I was content with was the spring rolls. Maybe I'm being too picky... I think this could be to some people's tastes, and when I was in high school I probably would've loved this place. Yesterday afternoon I ordered delivery from their restaurant which is located only one block away from me . I logged on to their website and ordered as directed by their front desk clerk ( Latin female). I ordered two items and which they mark up the item price compared to their in house menu by $2.00-$4.00. so I ordered two food items totaling $41.23. I received a mobile notification that it will be delivered in 15-20 minutes. then 12 minutes later I received another notification letting me know that my delivery was going to be deliver earlier, I sat in front of my door but no door knocking from driver. I received another notification telling that my food was already delivered ! I looked outside my door but there was no bag of food. I messaged the SAUCE delivery service and told them I never received my food. To make a long story short, Customer Support couldn't even get hold of the driver as he refused to respond to their calls. the driver had my contact # did not even call me to explain what happened to my food. One full hour later and never got my food, so I called the restaurant to order the same items again but I would pick them up myself (please note that I am still wanting to give Canton my business and order food from them). The same female answered the phone, I told her clearly that I would like to order again my food that was never delivered, but I will pick up the items myself. Female clerk responded " Sir, I told we have nothing to do with your food." "we are not responsible for it." to my astonishment I said to her "I never said to that YOUI were responsible for this horrible experience." I am calling you to order again my food , I am giving you the business not asking for any favors, you are not listening to me." the female clerk tuned the whole call against me and said "you are now being rude to me , why don't you go away, go to another restaurant.!!" This is the kind of young, uneducated in the business of proper customer relations that Canton Miami Beach has. Not only I was about to order a second order of food after what occurred but instead I was abruptly and rudely told to "go away and go to another restaurant" so , I am going away and never again ordering food from you ever again , and I strongly DO NOT RECOMMED any other locals to go to this dump, is no wonder is always empty. read more

This might be the worst Chinese food I've ever had.. or is it the customer service? Woman at the counter was completely incomprehensible with her mumbling. I ordered crisp tofu, with a brown sauce. I asked for no onions. What I received was soft tofu in a dish with many many scallions. We asked if the egg rolls had onions, and we were told that they didn't.. The egg rolls were overly greasy, bland, and also full of onions. For just these two items, the bill was $22 plus the tip that we had added. I love this place. Decent take out with delicious fish options at honest prices. My only issue is the owner does not and never has shared all the tips we give to them with any of the staff. The owner takes all the tips as additional profit and never pays anyone from credit card tips. To me this is extremely dishonest. They pay okay with little chance of tips. In fact some employees when the owner is there like a hawk will not take a cash tip! So be careful, if you're trying to tip the staff for your take out, tip cash when the owner isn't watching. I remember a waitress once telling me the same thing. I'm always asked not to say anything because the owner would fire them for saying anything. The flavors are all good and the staff is not. The egg drop soup is decent. Spring rolls delicious. And no issues with the food or service. Delivery even isn't too slow. read more

Drove to the restaurant to complain they said delivery driver took too long. I said he arrived in 22 minutes and that would not cause the food to look that way or taste that way. Yep, tiny well decorated little place with great fresh Chinese food. It's usually for take out, however, you can eat there. My first impression was how clean it smelled and looked. Next, were the pics on the wall of China, it's very nicely decorated. we ordered and they made the food right there fresh. You can hear and see a bit if you stand up. So, it was super fresh and tasty. They had run out of Asian beer , therefore, we chose the Corona, not our fav, but with lime it was fine. The food came and served A LOT. We order the $15.00 special, two dumplings, one spring roll, special fried rice and your choice of a meat, which we got , sweet and sour pork and honey garlic pork. Service was great, too. This was the best Chinese I've had for the last 3 months of quarantine staying in Florida from NYC. The man who answered the phone was very nice and patient and took my order to a T. I can be difficult sometimes asking him to not put onions, bean sprouts, or scallions etc in the food and when I received it, it was hot, just the way I wanted it and had great flavor. Perfect saltiness, not dry and shrimp cooked perfectly. I definately cannot wait to order again from here, and it's so close to my sisters house. Yay read more

Food is great and I will continue to order from here. However the young lady who works the register is absolutely horrible. For context I ordered well over a $100 dollars worth in food for a dinner party of 5. And I asked for extra spicy mustard. The lady told me "I put two in the bag" I asked if I could have two more since it was requested by a few people. Her response was "no". I thought she was kidding but she was not. I ended up waiting for the chef to come out and asked what the problem was and he looked at her and grabbed to more spicy mustards and gave them to me. I said thank you and asked the young lady if she hates her job and she replied "yes".
