I'm so disappointed in the meal I ordered it was not at all what I expected and just tasteless overall. One bite and I was sad... because I'm not a picky eater. Our server wasn't helpful and didn't offer a replacement meal and was rude about it. She turned up to be the manager, I was surprised by how she handled the situation. The other server apologized and said if she could change it for me she would but her manager said no. Ambiance is nice though. I should've listened to the reviews I read before coming and not have came.

Yummy Chinese food in north Miami Beach! We had a yummy feast!! We order takeout , service was good, I can't say anything about the ambience because we didn't eat there. We had traditional fried rice, honey garlic chicken, lo mein soft/stir fried noodles, wonton soup and egg rolls and everything was super extra tasty , fresh and delish!!!! We usually don't eat Chinese but this restaurant did it right!!!

I had the best shrimp noodles ever, the flavor was exquisite, I definitely come back

I had the best shrimp noddles ever, the flavor was incredibly, this place is amazing, I definitely come back

We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, general tso chicken and fried chicken dumplings. I'm not sure if it was the end of that batch or what, but both dishes tasted as if they had been sitting all day. The chicken in both entrees were soggy and the sauce was just not so tasty. It tasted almost like a paste and didn't taste like a general tso chicken or sweet and sour flavor. This was just bad on so many levels. We will absolutely not be ordering from this restaurant ever again.

It's so delicious my son love it

I'm Chinese from Los Angeles, I have to say this place is the real deal, the food is so delicious! Highly recommend!

I was ready to leave when I stepped inside, thinking the reviews must be wrong. The ambience is horrible. And yes, it is run by Venezuelans; who I will trust to make me an arepa any day of the week, but very leery when it comes to Chinese food. But these two dishes that we ordered were really good! .... and at a very fair price. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back.

A weekly or biweekly place to eat for us. GREAT food! Reasonable prices for excellent Chinese food makes it even more enjoyable since the area has over priced restaurants. Pictured is a hot and sour soup...one of my favorites. Did I forget to tell you about the service? Fantastic service!

We ordered delivery tonight as we're having storms with high winds. What better than great Chinese delivery on a night like this!? Ordered from UBER Eats was easy and Andres had our order here in no time. The food was hot and as before, delicious! We would recommend Salon Canton to everyone. Thanks Andres & Salon Canton for an excellent meal. Cheers, L&J Henderson NV

Today Easter Sunday. We had the pleasure of ordering food to go, Three Mongolian Beef and 1 Shrimp with White Sauce. This restaurant is magnificent and cooks food to perfection. Thank you Salon Canton for being in our neighborhood. I will be returning very soon, for more Magical Food....

Soggy egg roll (spit it out) & threw it away
    Tatiana S.

Welp, I thought I'd try this place even with the contradicting reviews before mine. Allow me to paint the picture from my experience so you can form your own opinion. I LOVE Chinese food! This was not that. My order : 2 egg rolls : literally spit it out (soggy) 1 : wonton soup (which I haven't had it yet and I'm hesitant) Fried dumplings : not crispy at all (seemed old) Honey chicken : worst of it (super soggy, seemed undercooked and mushy) Chicken fried rice : tastes as if I threw an egg in a pan w rice and threw in some vegetables. (No flavor at all) To top it off, when the order arrived there was no white rice w the garlic chicken entree. When I called to ask the person mentioned you have to ask for the rice although the menu states these dishes come with it. Can't tell you how disappointed I am right now. Especially bc I had that major Chinese food craving - you know what I'm talking about. This did not deliver and cost me about $50. I'm still hungry, $50 less rich and throwing away the rest. I should have saved the money and cooked. Update ^ they did deliver the white rice after I called and asked about it & for them to bring it. Sooo they're not assholes but the food is no bueno.

$6.00 For a pint of Hot and Sour. Horrible and nearly nothing inside but overcooked shrimp and bbq pork. A PINT for $6.00!
    Ivan H.

Just horrible! Worse Chinese Food and a waste of $40.00. Food: $35.97 plus $4.00 tip (UBER) I dined at the restaurant 9 months ago and it wasn't really good but I wanted to give them another opportunity and decided to try their delivery service and what a bad decision. At the very least, make my food edible and somewhat enjoyable, but this was not the case: 1/5 PINT of Hot and Sour Soup ($6.00) This soup had almost nothing in it; overcooked shrimp and bbq pork, some tofu and some black fungus. $6.00 for a pint of soup? Besides a soup that had almost nothing in it (see photo) this was a rip off. Most places will have the soup already done and when it's ordered, they'll assemble it by putting in the container or bowl, shrimp, bbq pork and other items. The shrimp and pork in my soup tasted like it had been in the soup the whole entire time due to the hard and over cooked taste. Just horrible. 1/5 QUART Yeung Chow Fried Rice ($12.00) quart was another rip off. The worst part is there was absolutely no taste to it! The soy sauce packets were necessary to save this rice, and even so, the rice was hard. BBQ pork also tasted old and hard. 1/5 Mongolian Beef ($15.00) was the worse dish of the 3. So salty it was inedible. I tried to mix this dish on top of the fried rice since the rice had no flavor but it was so so salty, I had to throw it in the trash. Funny thing is that the texture of the beef was done right, but whoever cooked it, added salt instead of sugar and killed this dish. Also other reviews state the same exact thing of this dish being over salty. Interesting that the owners didn't bother to change the recipe. I'm sure this place wasn't busy so how in world do you mess up the easiest food to make? I was hoping to have experienced something different since I could order from them at least once a week or more but this place has nothing saving it and surprised they have such a high rating. I will never order from here again, and now I need to fight with Uber to get a refund on the food, a waste of my time and my dinner last night. Whoever's in the kitchen clearly knows nothing about cooking Chinese food; they weren't really good before, but now they are just one of the worse I've ever had.

The acrobatic shows began at 8:00 p.m., with additional performances at 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. The acrobat was graceful, mesmerizing, strong, and sexy. When we made our reservation, we also asked for a table with a good view of the show, and they accommodated us with a fantastic front-row view from one of the couches. It was so much better than our previous visit, when we were trying to peer around a pillar and across the restaurant to see the performance. If seeing the show is important to you, I definitely recommend requesting a table with a good view when you make your reservation. Before the show the DJ plays music. The volume was at a good level, loud enough to be fun but soft enough to be able to hear each other talk. Although the restaurant initially feels like an indoor space, the central courtyard is actually open-air with overhead coverings, so there is plenty of fresh air while still feeling sheltered. Tall palm trees, pools of water, couches, and traditional dining tables create a beautiful and distinctive atmosphere. Overhead fans kept the temperature surprisingly comfortable despite the Miami heat. For Miami Spice, we had the tuna tacos, miso branzino, and Milk Tea for dessert -- jasmine green tea crème brûlée with honey tea jelly and lychee sorbet. Dining at Jaya was one of the highlights of our trip to Miami. Delicious food, great service, a beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful entertainment made it much more than just dinner. We were very glad we came back.

They also had a dessert station which included- crepes, bread pudding, macaroons, various cakes, and the most delicious cinnamon rolls that we've ever had. The food was delicious! The ambiance was incredible. It is outdoors so you will need to prepare for the elements. We also had live music while we were there. Service was pretty great in the beginning, very attentive, but you could tell when the restaurant was starting to get busier, which meant our server was occupied for longer periods of time. It took us some time to get our server to bring the check. It's a 2-hour dining experience that you pay $110/person plus the 20% service charge but we ended up getting shuffled out about an hour and a half into it. I'm assuming she was the manager who was directing other staff to "get these people out of here" to our table and the surrounding tables next to us. Which the tables next to us sat after us, so they were there for even less time. So aside from the older woman, who I assume was a manager, everything else was great!

Without specialization, it seems like their dishes are just ok. Steam Wagyu Beef Bao: A lot of hype and this was kinda disappointing. It tasted like a regular meatball inside a Chinese bun. Nothing really to make it seem special like the wagyu name implied. Pork Belly Ramen: This is pretty solid for food court ramen. It's no Ippudo, but the broth is very rich and pork. I liked the mix of corn and cabbage as veggies. The pork belly didn't seem slow cooked or tender. It was more like grilled. So some parts of fat were a bit too chewy (whereas a slow cook would melt in your mouth).

The wait for the food is like 10-15 minutes give or take. There are a lot of vegetables and one of my dishes had the plant watercress in it. If you don't know what watercress it is typically an expensive healthy vegetable (or at least where I'm from). The person behind the recipe put some consideration into the ingredients to enhance the flavor. I dined in, the place is unsuitable for eating at since it mainly focuses on cooking food for togo orders- regardless the service here was okay. Two servers but both mainly prioritized the togo orders. The place is a self-serve, where you get your own utensils and packaged sauce (I don't recommend the packaged sauce its no good). There is no ice cold water served, it's room temperature water only in styrofoam cups. The plates are also styrofoam too. Not good for the environment. The food given is also out of plastic containers which is probably because the focus of the place is on delivery services. There's only one cooling fan so it can get really hot, especially with the Florida heat. Regardless, the food here is delicious.

Twenty-plus years later, they're still setting the standard. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Thai food with outstanding service, look no further. Highly recommended.
