We came back to Jaya for Miami Spice Week because the menu looked wonderful, and it was a great way to try the cuisine while experiencing Jaya's stunning atmosphere and evening entertainment. The acrobatic shows began at 8:00 p.m., with additional performances at 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. The acrobat was graceful, mesmerizing, strong, and sexy. When we made our reservation, we also asked for a table with a good view of the show, and they accommodated us with a fantastic front-row view from one of the couches. It was so much better than our previous visit, when we were trying to peer around a pillar and across the restaurant to see the performance. If seeing the show is important to you, I definitely recommend requesting a table with a good view when you make your reservation. Before the show the DJ plays music. The volume was at a good level, loud enough to be fun but soft enough to be able to hear each other talk. Although the restaurant initially feels like an indoor space, the central courtyard is actually open-air with overhead coverings, so there is plenty of fresh air while still feeling sheltered. Tall palm trees, pools of water, couches, and traditional dining tables create a beautiful and distinctive atmosphere. Overhead fans kept the temperature surprisingly comfortable despite the Miami heat. For Miami Spice, we had the tuna tacos, miso branzino, and Milk Tea for dessert -- jasmine green tea crème brûlée with honey tea jelly and lychee sorbet. Dining at Jaya was one of the highlights of our trip to Miami. Delicious food, great service, a beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful entertainment made it much more than just dinner. Came in for the Caviar and Champagne brunch and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of food options. It's a buffet-style brunch where you go through sections and pick out what you want. They had traditional breakfast options-eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, fruit, and pastries to lunch/dinner options- burger, fries, chicken, lamb, sushi, pad thai, fried rice, and much more. They also had a dessert station which included- crepes, bread pudding, macaroons, various cakes, and the most delicious cinnamon rolls that we've ever had. The food was delicious! The ambiance was incredible. It is outdoors so you will need to prepare for the elements. We also had live music while we were there. Service was pretty great in the beginning, very attentive, but you could tell when the restaurant was starting to get busier, which meant our server was occupied for longer periods of time. It took us some time to get our server to bring the check. It's a 2-hour dining experience that you pay $110/person plus the 20% service charge but we ended up getting shuffled out about an hour and a half into it. I'm assuming she was the manager who was directing other staff to "get these people out of here" to our table and the surrounding tables next to us. Which the tables next to us sat after us, so they were there for even less time. So aside from the older woman, who I assume was a manager, everything else was great! read more

The ambiance and setting here at Jaya is so beautiful. There's a lake/pool/water thing in the middle of the restaurant and the general ambiance is nice too. There was a dancer/show in the middle which was very cool. However it's kinda cold and windy. Even though we had a reservation we still had to wait a bit to get seated. I got the spring rolls, pad Thai, thali, baby corn. Everything was pretty good except the corn had a bit of an odd flavor. The spring rolls were my favorite though. I wish for the actual Indian food part they had more vegetarian options. However they were able to make our thali half meat and half vegetarian which was nice. The drinks were strong here. The service was decent too since ir was busy. This place is definitely expensive but it's a nice experience. read more

We made a reservation for a Sunday at 9:30 AM for Mother's Day. We were a party of 5 and they had a buffet style breakfast. My mom absolutely loved it. I think her favorite part was the omelette station, you can choose what ingredients you desire and they make the omelette fresh. I also loved the omelette station, it's such a personalized dining experience. You can sit for a total of 2 hours and enjoy a wonderful breakfast experience. There was so many things to chose from. I absolutely loved the French toast, it came with a caramelized banana on top. It was as if I was enjoying some banana bread, the French toast was so soft to the bite. The service was wonderful. Everyone was extremely attentive. Parking is valet which is a flat rate of $40 if you are only there for breakfast. It goes up in price after 4 hours I believe. This is an underrated experience. The food and drinks are delicious and the shows are awesome. There are 5 min shows every 30 min and you get 2 hours to dine. Came here for a fabulous brunch on Father's day. Made the reservations in advance through an app and appreciated the valet ready in the front. We had comfy couch seating next to the live jazz band and the picturesque water decor. The place is spacious but gets crowded. Our server was the best as there was no need for anything. He came with it all before even asking. The food was absolutely delish and the variety was abundant. There was every variety available it seemed and everything from omnivore and vegetarian and everything in between existed. From fresh seafood, to dim sum to sliders, to the fresh meat, fish and lamb cooked to your choice and brought to you. There was also caviar, crepes, fresh made to order eggs and omelets, sliders, fruit, fresh sushi, and it just goes on and on. Went to Jaya's Champagne and Caviar brunch this past weekend and as usual it was spectacular. From the flowing drinks to the on the spot freshly made crepes it's hard to decide where the real star of the show is. The service is always impeccable, and the staff do their best to make sure all needs are met and go out of their way to please. My water was consistently topped off and I always had fresh clean silverware. The unlimited Champagne and mojitos were a great addition to a huge, high end buffet. Wow to this free flowing champagne and caviar brunch. One of my favorite brunches in the miami area. The service was like no where else. The staff was very attentive. I was a bit disappointed that when you walk in they immediately push the prosecco and Bellini. I came for the champagne and the caviar and not the prosecco or Bellini. Once we clarified what we wanted they took good care of us. The filet, fish and lamb grilled to order and brought to your table was delicious. My first order was brought to me well done! That was very disappointing and I should have sent it back. I did get another lamb chop that was perfect. They have lots of hot food with an amazing presentation. The seafood bar had oysters, tuna and ceviche and sushi. The dessert area was covered in berries and I was really looking forward to dine basque cheesecake. Wow this place is fun and cool! We went to dinner at Jaya at The Setai during a business conference and had such a great time. Between the tropical decor, inside-outside dining feel, and the incredible contortionist entertainment it was just icing on the cake that the food was delicious, too. We loved the crab dumplings as an appetizer. And I especially enjoyed my filet mignon. Service was really good to start, but our entrees (we were 8 people) came out in two different batches about 10 minutes apart which was a little odd. I was talking to some of my elite friends and we wanted to do a nice brunch. We had plans to go to a different location, but one of my friends brought up Jaya as a potential option. After looking at the menu, we decided that this would be a much better option. As we arrived, we valet parked the vehicle. If you park the car and leave within four hours, it is at a reduced rate of $30. We had a reservation and we were seated promptly. Once you sit down your two hour timer, starts on the buffet. The service was impeccable with the servers, bringing rosé to the table and other options. There was also a bottomless Mojito espresso martini bar. Now the main store here was the food. The caviar was delicious. The fresh sashimi was tasty. The maid to order filet mignon and shrimp skewers were so good. The Indian food was very savory. The options were just so many and all were fresh and tasty. We definitely ate and drink our moneys worth. And not to mention the beautiful venue with the live singer. So I went to Jaya to celebrate my birthday this past weekend, March 7, 2026. While the restaurant itself is beautiful and the ambiance is nice the service from the hostess section to service at my table and the location was not great. The hostesses were rude and obnoxious brushing us to the side and telling us to wait. Waiting is not an issue but the manner in which we were spoken to is an issue. Then they seated us at the worst possible table in the restaurant next to the door the servers and bus boys come in and out of all night. I was dressed to the nines to celebrate and this is where they decided to seat us. Terrible. This is not the experience I would expect of a restaurant of this caliber. I dined here with my family and enjoyed the experience. A meal here is NOT cheap. You come here to spend like you have money to burn. I came here on a holiday and this would be our big special dinner spot with my kids. I booked this place specifically since it was kid friendly. It's exactly the kind of food I love, even if majorly overpriced. I ended up getting the Pad Thai ($32) with chicken substituted for the shrimp. My partner got the the chicken makhani, which was fantastic with the thick creamy tomato sauce and the side of rice and naan. I think I had half of his while I ate most of my Pad Thai. There was also a special kids menu with the basics. My kids got the spaghetti (amazing, as I tried a bite) and the mini cheeseburgers. I mainly booked this place for the performances. These are VERY short. I'm talking like 2 minutes so set your expectations! The performances start at 8 PM and rotate every 30 minutes. So if you're traveling with kids, that is a pretty small window! We got to this spot around 7 PM and walked 2 shows during our visit. We loved that, but wish they started the shows a little earlier. Overall this was a fun experience. Went to a Sunday Jazz brunch at Jaya and I think it makes sense to compare it to another iconic Miami buffet brunch. First of all, the restaurant itself is gorgeous with an abundance of natural light, water views, and peaceful music. I really liked how spacious it was, with plenty of room between tables. The buffet line was inside the hotel, separate from the main seating area, which was a great decision. No people carrying plates over your head while you eat. Plus, the lines were much shorter and moved way faster than at another buffet brunch. For a final price of $140 per person (including tax and tip), you get an all-you-can-eat buffet plus unlimited drinks and alcohol for two hours. The buffet includes an omelet station, meats, seafood, veggies, baked goods, and desserts. All the food was solid and delicious, but the seafood and desserts stood out the most. What made it totally worth the money for me was the real caviar (not the imitation kind you get at some other brunch spots *wink*) and the cocktail bar. The service was on another level of attention, which you don't usually expect from a buffet. They never let your glass go empty, brought made-to-order meat and seafood, and even surprised us with a beautifully decorated dessert plate for a celebration. The only people who might not get the most out of the experience are those who don't eat seafood or drink. Otherwise, it's a fantastic choice for celebrating any occasion with brunch. read more

One of the most stunning outdoor restaurants in Miami Beach without a doubt. We had lunch at their courtyard patio and tried several dishes. We thought there would be more Indian options besides the overhyped Indian samosa as their head chef is Indian but for lunch, menu was limited. Japanese leaf salad was art on a plate and that miso dressing was delicious. Tuna tartare was one of my favorite appetizers as the crisp reminded me of an Indian flatbread. The dimsum were nothing special, go to Tropical Chinese if you want dimsum, we had the har gau shrimp dumplings (4) and truffle dumplings (4) but have had better dimsum. For main, we ordered the vegetable fried rice, salmon panang curry (very good), tofu panang with vegetable curry and vegetable pad thai w/ cauliflower, zucchini and asparagus. Would have given this review 5 stars but our waitress was apathetic which is what we've come to expect from south beach where service is auto added irrespective of it being deserving or not. It is very rare for a restaurant in Miami Beach that has some of the best ambiance in the world to at the same time have a equal of an experience in terms of the palate. We ordered the salmon Panang curry which was great not to salty not to sweet with a wonderful balance and the Sea bass tikka which was the most perfectly cooked sea bass I have ever had in my whole career with a wonderful tamarind sauce that just gave it a whole new dimension. The crispy rice tuna can be skipped but I suggest trying it at least once . The reason being the tuna is not equal enough to the rice to justify it over other restaurants in the area. The bok Choy is also a must for a side as it goes really well with the flavors of the sea bass.
