The tables are right up against their dusty shelves of soup mixes and other Vietnamese ingredients. The won ton soup was pretty salty and the wontons were pretty small. It was just ok. The ramen was a little better but also salty. Overall this place is passable if you're in the neighborhood and wanted a quick bowl of comfort food, otherwise keep looking.

Next up were the TEMPURA SHRIMPS (3 pcs): krupuk chips, Québec seaweed emulsion, and wakame salad. While these were a bit more batter than shrimp, I think that's the point! The sauce balanced it out nicely. I'd give these a 7/10. The SALMON SASHIMI was one of the best dishes of the night. The sauce added an amazing flavor that really elevated the fresh raw salmon dish. Easily a 9/10 for this one! For dumplings, we got the BEEF GYOZA: wagyu, ginger, cabbage, green onions, and soy sauce. I prefer my gyozas crispier, but the flavors were spot on. A tasty 7/10. For the main dishes, we had the TERIYAKI SCALLOPS: maple-glazed, crispy rice, fried seaweed, spicy cream sauce, and red caviar. These were incredible--so fresh and perfectly balanced. I loved everything about them, and they deserved a 9/10. The highlight of the night was definitely the GENERAL TAO CHICKEN: fried grain-fed chicken breast, marinated with sesame and topped with Tao sauce, pan-fried veggies, and Québec organic camelina seeds. This dish was perfection and an absolute must-order, a well-deserving 10/10! For dessert, we had the MANGO CARAMEL & CHOCOLATE BAO: fried bao with chocolate-caramel ganache and mango kombucha sorbet. Their price is ridiculous for their 1 size only Pho and Hue. Back home in Ontario, you would be able to get a a XL pho for $15.50. The Pho here was so small, it barely had any noodles. Normally I never drink all the soup but this time I had to drink it all because I was still hungry. They really do it different here with their Pho. They put the bean sprouts directly in the soup for you before they bring it out to you. I don't like my bean sprout fully cook and soggy. Also where the is the lime? Did they squeeze the lime in it for me too? Where are the basils? Meatballs? The taste of the broth is subjective, these guys went with a flavourful herbal taste instead of the strong beef taste. The Bun Bo Hue's broth was ok. Once again it was very small just like the Pho. Missing a lot of key ingredient again. The atmosphear was good. They did their best with the limited amount of space they had. Service was prompt. This place could be a lot better because their broth taste good but way too many ingredients missing.

We were already here so we ordered and took the food to eat in our hotel room. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the portion sizes. We got Kung Pao Chicken, Singapore style noodles and beef Lo mein The stand out dish was the Beef Lo Mein. It had such a great flavor. We wanted to go back for lunch Saturday just for the beef Lo mein but when we went to order, we found out they (and all the other Chinese restaurants in the area) don't open until 4:00pm on Saturdays. I definitely will be back next time I'm in Quebec !

The reviews of others here are bang on. The General Tao Is the king here... Just awesome, not too hot, not too sweet, just right and the meat so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Look this place up, it's fast,easy and tasty. I wish I could have tried more of the items. I give it 5 stars because the food was excellent, the service fast and the place was very clean if not a little bit of an oddity. In its category it's great.
