And the thing that we could've stuck with, and gotten nothing else: grilled fish. We went with the dorade and the seabass, but if fish is this fresh and they grill it this well, it doesn't matter. Just order it, let them adorn it with lemon and salt, and enjoy. Those tiny clams are always a winner, the octopus was excellent, and the tuna was forgettable, but grilled fish is what you want here. All of the dishes were quite good, the Grouper was fresh and the Bacalhau dish was well put together. Overall, the dinner was quite good, but the desserts were outstanding. We had the Serica (a regional egg-based sweet from Alentejo) an Almond cake and another egg-based Portuguese sweet. While the dining experience was good what made it memorable was the service which was truly outstanding. Unfortunately, this level of service is increasingly hard to find these days.
