We really enjoyed this restaurant. The views are amazing, the food and the service were fast and our waiter spoke Spanish which was a relief. The pasta was out of this world. Hope you come and enjoy

    Our lunch wine, really good!

Excellent view of the waterfront. There were 6 of us for lunch and the service was exceptional. The clams and the fresh cheese were excellent. I would also recommend the sea bass grilled. The wine list was extensive and reasonable for fine dining. Will return on my next visit to Cascais.

This place seems to be more view/ambiance than anything else~we ordered the seafood rice (basically a paella, so to speak) and red sangria. We both enjoyed our food and sangria, but weren't floored by it either. I'd definitely come back again if we were staying in Cascais, but it was a bit of a hike from Lisbon and didn't really feel worth it bc there are many, many outstanding seafood spots throughout Portugal. The view is the biggest draw here imo and that's okay bc there a lot of ppl who care more about ambiance/decor/views than their actual food...perfect spot for that crowd bc it's something you won't forget!

Great food and great service. Located beautifully along side the cliffs. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Very nice restaurant right on edge of and overlooking the Atlantic. Came in on a weekday for lunch and seemed like a lot of locals were eating here. Had the octopus which was served in a pan with olives, potatoes and onions. So good. Was only able to eat half and took the rest home. Would come back to this in a heartbeat.

This is a seafood lovers heaven. Looks ordinary from the outside but it's really nice once you step in. White table cloths, nice cutlery and china and very friendly staff. I loved this place and would come back here in a heartbeat. There was about twenty of us at dinner and we had a fixed menu comprising of different types of seafood, starters and dessert. There was nothing that I did not like. Grilled sea bass for main and shrimps, tiny lobsters and clams for starters :-) yummm The sea bass was grilled to perfection and the cold seafood starters were fabulous. A few of us ended up emptying all the plates on the table with leftovers lol Staff were very attentive and we had two waiters for our table that came around regularly to top up glasses and check up on us. All in all a fabulous experience :-)

Delicious seafood restaurant located a few minutes away from Boca do Inferno. The food, service, and ambience were all excellent! It was extremely easy to make a dinner reservation via email just a day prior, and they were super accommodating when we had to change the date AND when we arrived a full hour prior to our set time. Despite our last minute change of plans, they still managed to seat us on the patio (enclosed for the rainy weather) next to the windows so we could have a view of the ocean - which we weren't expecting at all. Definitely order one of the seafood platters for two. My fiancé and I didn't feel like fussing with crab, so we got the Special Platter (75 euros) which came with sea bass, tiger prawns, and lobster with potatoes and vegetables (according to the menu). The actual plate also had several pieces of shrimp. All of the seafood was cooked perfectly! The lobster was so tender and juicy, and had tons of bright orange tomalley (or roe?) to dip the meat in for a layered umami experience. The tiger prawn was also huge and succulent. And the shrimp! What a lovely surprise. It was cooked very well and also came with the head (easily removed), which had tons of flavor to be coaxed out. That was probably the most flavorful bite. The sea bass was also extremely meaty and moist. The olive oil with garlic at the bottom of the giant platter served as the perfect accompaniment to all of the seafood, as well as the potatoes and vegetables. It was easily more than enough for two people - you could probably have shared it among an additional 1-2 people if you got some more sides to share. This was a must visit for visitors of Cascais.

This is the only restaurant in Portugal that asked for a tip. Afterwards I realized they ripped me off because VAT was included in my meal price. Don't fall for the tip is not included, it might be because I am American. My server was on the grumpy side and never once smiled, but I think that is his personality, he smiled for no one. Food: I ordered the pasta with chile, calamari, and shrimp. It was a unique pasta with garlic and tiny amounts of ginger, that played very well and there was like 2 chile rings and then calamari and shrimp. The pasta was cooked perfectly and right amount of sauce that just played well together. The calamari was cooked to perfection as was the shrimp but a few were not cleaned properly but everything tasted good. The chile did have a tiny bite so somebody might think this is spicy but was not for me, finally something with flavor. I did not eat all the pasta because then I ordered the octopus. The octopus was not cleaned properly but the texture was spot on and the taste was great, I added some of my own hot sauce on the side to give it some kick. Odd to have a boiled egg with the octopus, good taste but the green ring indicates the egg was overcooked. Everything was temperature hot and served fairly quickly. WiFi available. I should have just ordered the pasta because that was fantastic! The octopus was okay but took some work to clean. The pasta gives this place a 5. Service and tip with VAT already included would drop to 2. The octopus is 3 stars. But the pasta was the best meal thus far in Portugal.

They describe it as a gastronomic experience, so to say that my friend and I were excited is an understatement. This was a charming start to the meal and experience. We quickly followed it with starters of roasted scallops with sweet potato purée and bacon and garlic Shrimp and green wine sauce. Our excellent waiter recommended the veal entrecote with onion purée and the whole grilled seabass for main course and we went with his recommendation. He certainly knows what he is talking about. Lesson learned - listen to your waiter! Making room for dessert is a speciality that my friend and I have mastered over the years. This time we made room for Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Coulis, Dark Chocolate Dome, Caramel and Cherry Ice Cream and Sardine Ice cream. Not our usual trio but tasted great. All the while, we watched the beauty of the ocean from our elevated view. It was an amazing way to spend a lunch. Highly recommended for anyone at any time. Unique experience because you go to the seafood display case to select what you would like and how you want it to prepared, then they will bring it to your table.
