The tables are nicely set and well spaced so you can have a good conversation with your companion. This was the 1st restaurant we tried during our month's vacation and it is undoubtedly one of the best. The dining room had a nice warmth and coziness to it. They were very busy the evening that we were there but the service was very good. There is a huge couvert on the table when we were seated. We declined the couvert as there was simply too much food on it. I had the roast suckling pork and it definitely lived up to expectations. The skin was nice and crispy but the pork itself was so tender, moist and full of flavour. It's one of the best dishes that I've ever had. My husband had lamb shank and he was as impressed with his meal as I was with mine. We had a 1/2 bottle of wine with our meal and we finished with a mango dessert that had a shortbread crust. At the end of our meal a gentleman (I think he may be the owner) asked if we had enjoyed our meal. During the course of the evening we were talking to another couple who had come to the restaurant a few times during their time in Evora. We were talking about port wine and we mentioned that my husband likes the tawney port but I preferred the ruby port. The gentleman who asked how our meal was gave my husband a tawney port and myself a ruby port. What a great start to our vacation Highly recommended

My husband loved this place so much that we went twice duriing our 3 days in Evora. Evora isn't…read morefamous for roasted pigs but this place doesn't pale in comparison with the ones in cities known for it. The first time we went, I was a little surprised they didn't bring us any sauce. One bite and it felt like asking for sauce would be an insult to the chef. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and it was wonderfully juicy, tender without being mushy, as may happen to suckling pigs. Our waitress was nice enough to subsitute the potato chips with salad, as we are a bit potato'ed out with all thte Portuguese food. The salad came out more colorful than we expected. The second time we went, the waiter brought along some sauce. It was not a black pepper sauce, but mildly spicy. Beside the suckling pig, we tried other dishes from the menu - there's actually quite a good selection. The roated goat and duck rice are both quite delicious as well. The portions are quite substantial. A very important note: there was quite a spread of couvert (starters) at the table, from bread to sliced ham to other warm and cold appetizers. Do note that these are not free - the waiter did ask us which one we would like. The prices for all couvert are listed in the menu, they do cost around 5-7 Euro each, so if you want them all, even if it's just a few bites, it could add up to a pretty penny. Beware of this - couvert is very common in Portuguese restaurants - and don't complain of scams or rip off. For us, we checked the price and let the waiter know which one to keep and which to take away (another reason why we usually turn down couvert - I don't have a good clue if the dish has done more travellng than I did, and would rather order something to be cooked for me.) This is a relatively fancy restuarant, customers seems to dress up and we felt a bit underdressed in ourvery casual travel clothes, though the waitstaff still treated us nicely.

We had reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday at 6 PM. When you check in, they give you a slip of paper which has a QR code on it for you to access the menu later, and we were promptly seated upstairs. The menu is conveniently available in several languages (you select your language at the bottom of the main menu page). We were at a long table for 6, with us sitting on the inside and another couple sitting at the end, and the table settings in between us were cleared, so it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. I appreciated that the server gave recommendations that would be good for two people. We went with most of his recommendations (shrimps on garlic sauce (it's labeled as spicy, but it's really not), clams on garlic, tiger prawns grilled on bed of salt) and added some of our own (razor clams and lobster roll). All the seafood tasted fresh, bursting with flavor from the buttery garlic sauce, which we sopped up with garlic bread. The bread is brought to the table when you first get seated. It's not free, which I was aware of, but I knew it would go well with the dishes we ordered. The razor clams were juicy and sweet. The lobster roll was good, but not something I would order again when there's so many other fantastic seafood choices. I usually don't drink beer, but felt that it was appropriate since we were at a cervejaria, so I ordered a bottle of Sagres Bohemia. It went perfectly with the seafood. My SO, who doesn't drink alcohol, got peach iced tea. I wanted to get the prego sandwich for dessert, but my SO was pretty much full at that point, so I ordered a tarte whisky and a cappuccino for myself. The whisky ice cream layer in the tarte was nice and refreshing. I was shocked when we got the bill and it came out to less than 50€. This meal would have cost so much more in the US. You pay via tablet at the end and I left a generous tip in appreciation of the wonderful meal and service. They get you in and out of there quick, but it never felt like we were being rushed out. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for some fresh, delicious seafood in Lisbon.

You check in and then they ask you wait in their waiting area next door which looks a little bare and the outside patio seems like a smoking area. After we were called, we walked upstairs to a brightly-lit dining room. Lots of serving staff and all very friendly. Their menu is extensive and it's great they have photos too! My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!
