The food is very nicely plated, and while the seasoning was okay this time, it was still a little unbalanced. I really enjoyed the Sorrentinos (Argentinian version of ravioli) the last time, and while the presentation was very attractive, the sauce had too much lime. I ordered the commemorative dish (Prato da Boa Lembrança) because I collect these plates. It consisted of shredded dried beef with fried curd cheese (queijo coalho) served on a bed of refried black-eyed peas (which had a very bitter taste). Visually, it was striking, but the taste missed the mark. I was happy to have celebrated my birthday having lunch here, but, while the food is not as good as they think it is, it is still worth a visit.

It's got a big metal tree-like netting on the outside, with industrial cement block outside and a cool running fountain underneath, and large open dining room windows. The inside has deep wood paneling with a curtain of heavy white anchor rope to separate the dining from the reception. It takes two servers to hug the ropes to let you through. The food was amazing but huge family portion style so make sure you share or get a half portion size. We tried the garlic shrimp and the beef dishes which were both quite amazing. Atmosphere, food and service makes this place a winning combination. One thing that was annoying was the family table that let their kids run all over the restaurant, screaming and bumping into servers, which seems to be a disaster waiting to happen.
