Dad had purchased a plan from Heavenly Grace for 1 spot with 1 interment , opening & closing and liner and paid for it in advanced. Dr. Garza looked up our contract. The contract has non of that in there. When we asked where the lady that had sold us the plan she no longer worked for them. Therefore my dad would have to pay an additional $2785 to open the grave, close the grave. At that I proceeded to head to the La Féria Post Office. Bought 3 money orders. Took them back to the funeral home. Dr. Garza had no idea how to run the check scanner. At this point we were all pretty frustrated with her. We got our receipt and as we were getting up to leave, my dad told Dr. GARZA "that's all correct. Nothing else is needed?" Dr. Garza assured my dad nothing else would be needed. LIED!!!!LIED!!! LIAR!! Day of the Rosary about 2pm. Dr. Garza calls me and says she forgot to charge for the grave liner. I ask how much she says $700. Told her my dad was not gonna be happy and that I would call her right back. Pull my dad away from my mothers coffin to tell to please not get pissed off. Well, he did. I place the call back to Dr. Garza. She said, "Martin, I didn't know..". My dad was so upset. I left the funeral home to get another money order. I go back to Heavenly Grace and go in and ask to speak to a supervisor. We spoke she said she look into what has happened. I told her I don't want Dr. Garza any where near the family or my mother's burial. They did honor my wishes about that.

We recently had these people host a memorial and funeral service for a family member. The staff on…read moresite during the memorial service seemed to be bothered having us there and could not wait for us to leave. Every question we asked or accomodation we asked for seemed to be a bother to them. No staff member even took the time to help welcome our guests and point them in the right direction. We had to do it all ourselves. The layout of the place is horrible. You can not step out of the chapel without having to walk directly betweeen the audience and the casket, distruptig the entire service. An inadequate amount of parking made the experience even worse for our guests. This poor level of planning says it all. I'm not sure why they are in this business.
